Came here with my daughter while waiting for my other daughter. Bosco bread was delicious and PD's was good. Service was nice but the waitress was a little irritating . I hadn't ordered from Aurelio's in about 20 years. I decided to order today and it did not disappoint. I ordered the small Taco pizza and it was delicious. I also ordered the small spaghetti with meatballs and that too was good. I REALLY enjoyed the taco pizza more though. When I ordered I was told it would be about 30 minutes but I got there 15 minutes early and they were slicing up the pizza. Fast service!!! read more

I really, really, really enjoy their lunch buffet. When I first walk in... it kinda reminds me of a pizza joint I'd see on tv. Nothing fancy. Very small town. And I love it. Was looking for a place near Chicago that had great pizza and could accommodate 15. I'm so glad I picked Aurelio's! Our server Jessica was amazing and extremely accommodating. We had a few food allergies and she made sure to double check ingredients. That type of consideration is hard to come by. They have the best gluten free crust I've ever tasted and my boyfriend is vegan and he enjoyed his pizza as well. The rest of our party loved their pizza and wings. Aurelio's Pizza has always been the gold standard for me. I highly enjoy their crispy thin crust. It's has just the right amount of buttery flavor with plenty of crunch. Their sauce is on the sweeter side, but not overly so. I've never been unsatisfied with a pizza, but my favorite is the Super6. (lots of meat and veggies) I also highly enjoy their vegetable pizza. In addition to the pizza, I've had a few other things such as antipasto salad and roast beef sandwiches, and I have always been satisfied. I've hosted several birthday parties here as well. Ordered a Pepperoni Pizza with Anchovies from their Griffith Indiana location. My order was delivered in 1 hour, the standard time so not bad. Took one bite of my Pizza and spit it out. I have had pizza from all over the country and I must say this is the worst pizza I have ever tasted. I have had truck stop diner pizza that tasted better than this. Walked in to this spot on a quiet week night, really wanting a good pizza. I searched the area near to find the best options and this came highly rated. I was not disappointed. I was told to sit in the back room because the heater in the front room wasn't working. There was only one other table occupied in the entire place. That didn't look good....but I figured I'd try it anyway. Long story short, I had a small antipasto salad that would have fed a small family, followed by a medium Super 6 pizza. It was all delicious. I loved how the pizza was served on a cooling rack to keep the crust crisp. I have never been to an Aurelio's before, but I'm thinking this is the beginning of a great relationship! Joe would be extremely upset with last nights service. Called in a delivery order at 6:25 for three pizza's. At 7:27 called to see what the hold up was, was told it hasn't even been put in the oven yet. At least a phone call would have been nice since we had 10 kids waiting to eat dinner. I LOVE this place. This is from someone who has had pizza from California to my current location in Massachusetts and NO one makes better pizza. I had a hankerin' for pizza and decided to try something new. I've never had Aurelio's so I placed a carry out order to give it a shot. Pepperoni, Italian Beef, Fresh Garlic, and Onion on Thin Crust. I've had better crust on a pizza but I've had much worse. The sauce was good and I found the toppings to be generous. Especially the garlic, it was loaded down which I found quite delectable. I placed an order over the phone for pick up roughly 10 mins before closing. The first ingredient I asked for on my pizza were green peppers which when I arrived were missing from the pizza. I checked the receipt and it's was not listed as an ingredient. When I notified the cashier she was very defensive about the mistake. I wasn't angry but she pretty much didn't do anything to try to rectify or provide a solution to the problem. This restaurant always has fantastic food and really friendly service. It is a little pricey for a pizza restaurant, but the cost never stops us from going. Came here two weeks ago with family for lunch and ordered the meat lovers (they called it the super something). It's my families favorite pizza and we purchase it every time we visit the Griffith Aurelio's. While ordered our drinks and the waitress appeared to be going into the kitchen to grab them. Instead, she went and sat down to talk with what appeared to be friends that had just walked in. We got her attention and she laughed it off and told us she had forgotten. We didn't think it was so funny. Our pizza arrived 45 minutes after we ordered and was cold. We requested that the waitress bring us a new pizza since we believed that it was not fully cooked, but she insisted that it was fine and that they had just left it on the counter for too long. We were extremely displeased and asked to speak to a manager. About 10 minutes later the manager came out to our table. She seemed very wound up and didn't seem like she could handle her work load. We explained to her that our pizza was cold and she told us that a delivery had just come in so it would take another 45 minutes for a new pizza to be ready. She offered a 5% discount on the order. We walked out of that crap hole and we will not be returning. This had been the second time we had a problem at this location. The first time was regarding a carry out order we had placed. Long story short, the manager was extremely rude and loud on the phone and had refused a refund for a mixed up order. We even informed her that we had not touched the pizza, yet she refused to accept our return. Highly displeased and would not recommend to family/friends. read more

The staff was friendly and the deep dish pizza was out of this word! They even had a balloon Guy making some really cool balloons.
