After leaving my primary care office, I was famished, so I decided to take some me time and stopped by Amici Grill & Pizzeria for a nice cocktail and some grub. The ambience of this place is NICE, kinda cozy, cool and welcoming. I was impressed and usually that's kinda hard to impress me. My server was a Gorgeous young lady named Sophia and she was a little short of Amazing. I first ordered a amaretto stone sour to drink; because I knew that it was 5 o'clock somewhere in the world. Then, for my meal I ordered the Gyro plate with of Course some French fries. When the Gyro plate came it was huge, Delicious and very filling. I could only finish about half of it. Wouldn't you know...the French fries are hand cut and also very very tasty. My Overall experience, was Amazing and Amici grill & Pizzeria gets a whopping 5 Stars. They also cater and the menu is so that everyone can find something Tasty to eat...vegetarian and vegan.

We love there food !! Family friendly and great service. Pizza is our favorite. We have a hard time deciding between thin crust or stuffed.. And those garlic knots!! Wow. Yummy! Would definitely recommend.

Supreme pizza

Oh wow I tried the pizza finally from Amicis. I was hoping for the best. However, this was the worst pizza I've ever had actually. It wasn't cooked all the way and was way too salty. Even the toppings weren't the crunchiest or tastiest. I don't even know if there was much sauce as the pizza was also dry. I also ordered the Greek fries and I would suggest never to get them as carry out. Only order the Greek fries when dining in. They were soggy and very little Feta. I'm sad because the pizza was over $24 and it wasn't what I was expecting. There have been reviews telling everyone to try the pizza you won't be disappointed. They are wrong. I ordered the Supreme.

a plate of pasta with chicken and tomatoes

Pesto Pasta Penne, with Chicken" it includes sun dried tomatoes, mushrooms, and sliced grilled chicken simmered in their homemade basil pesto cream sauce. This is/was my favorite dish they serve, not only was it not good but this was the second time that the taste was not delicious as previous orders. 1. Normally it has a creamy texture, but instead it was very liquidity and bland. 2. There wasn't enough basil pesto sauce in it, which is what make the dish taste so good. 3. The chicken along with the sun-dried tomatoes and mushrooms were also bland. 4. My husband always orders the Steak Hoagie, which is his favorite but this time it was not. He said way to much lettuce and not enough steak. I wished that I would have got a picture of his food too. A very disappointing meal. This is why I could only give them 2 stars. We ordered 2 of the Pesto Basil Pasta w/chicken along with a Steak Hoagie and fries at a whopping $45. for take out.

Absolutely delicious; a must try if you like fast casual, mediterranean food!…read more STAFF are crazy friendly, accommodating, and helpful if you are between dishes. Even if they do not write down your order (such as my son's chicken dinner plate), they'll remember and bring it out to you when it's ready. The FOOD is delicious. You can tell they carefully season and layer chicken and lamb on the vertical rotisserie, despite the efficient electric 'shaver' that they use to carve the meat. Contrary to Yelper Cheryl P's experience, our lamb was tender and tasty. Falafel was beautiful and has a solid crust on the outside (that their plasticware struggles to get through). You can't go wrong with the Loukoumades to conclude. Delish! One Yelper suggested this is a Middle East subway? A better categorization is fast casual as there is some cooking, customization, and table delivery. Yes there's a line with the sliced vegetables, prepared sauces, etc. In a traditional, sit-down restaurant, that's still happening (you just can't see into the kitchen). NOTE: I do agree with Yelper, Steve M., prices are higher than most. I would argue it's A) the quality of ingredients, B) the made to order dishes, and C) environmental packaging for bowls (...although the rest are styrofoam). Feels like the norm these days if you want a solid meal. Believe me, I do and Covo delivers.

The usual, salad, gyro meat and toppings. I do not think they get a lot of business as it was quiet when i was there during lunch and only one other customer on this day at least. The woman who took my order was nice. She even tried to make sure I didn't get the dried out meat by cutting a lot of the outside to get to better offerings but unfortunately, it was still at least half. So tried removing the dry pieces as I went which quickly got old. The garlic sauce was okay. A bit watery to me which diluted the flavor. I will say the feta was delicious.

I've been here just once, but I was really impressed. There's a large menu with typical staples…read morelike gyros and burgers, but also some interesting items like a huge fried chicken sandwich, a Greek "quesadilla" made between two pitas, and (my favorite) a bowl that you can customize Chipotle-style with your choice of meats/rice/toppings/sauces. If you don't feel like a pita, you should absolutely try their bowls. The base is typically a flavorful, lightly-seasoned long grain rice, but you can skip the rice if you'd rather focus on lettuce/veggies. There are several different protein/meat options, such as gyros, chicken "yeero" (stacked boneless chicken which slow-cooks on a spit), falafel, and a few others. When your bowl is ready to be topped, they'll call you back for you to pick your toppings (nice assortment of veggies, pickled things, cheeses, and sauces). Then they top the bowl with a toasted pita. Not exactly low carb if you get both the pita and the rice, but it's so delicious. One of their featured items is called the Athens Chicken Sandwich. Kind of a confusing name, as it's a fried chicken breast dipped in buffalo sauce, topped with cole slaw and pickles. But the chicken itself was outstanding. Crispy, dark exterior but super juicy inside. One of the best chicken sandwiches I've ever had. Their fries are hand-cut, fried when you order. I'm not the biggest fan of hand-cut fries, but these were great, and topped with a light seasoning (kinda curly-fry-ish). They also have greek fries, which looked interesting -- not just the typical feta and herbs, but also some sort of creamy sauce. I could dock them a star for being a little slow, but they're new, so I'll cut them some slack for the time being. The people in there with me who were just trying the gyros got served pretty quickly. But I had three things to my order and, instead of starting everything at once, the cook made things one-by-one. I ended up having to wait over 15 minutes for my takeout order. But I think they'll get into a groove here.

I'm not sure exactly what I was expecting, but the gyro tasted like any gyro sandwich I could have…read moreanywhere. The portion size was pretty good, but their Greek Style fries were insane! They were absolutely delicious, I couldn't stop eating them. I would definitely be back again for those fries because I can't stop thinking about them now.
