HORRIBLE! STAY AWAY. we had a craving for a good gyro sandwich. I ordered two and an order of fries to go. $34.00!!!!!!! The fries were crap, cold and rubber right out of the bag. the sandwiches were dry, the tomatoes were mealy, the onions were chunky, not like a typical gyro onions. the meat was cold and dry. The sauce was not good, not even close to what a good gyro sauce is. I dont ever leave reviews, but after today, I had to. Just terrible. read more

This place didn't do it for me. The gyro sandwich was broken out and I felt some ingredients were lacking (onions). It was fine when it was all said and done but I expected more. My wife had chicken that was dried out. The baklava was pretty sad. A super disappointment. read more

Visited this spot last night with hubby.. I ordered the chicken gyro with fries and he ordered the philly gyro with fries.. both were very delicious.. made Greek style and tasty the meat was fresh and delicious not super greasy or skimpy in meat.. both orders with an extra fry for someone else was 21 and some change so the price point is very good.. worth a try if u wanna find an authentic chicken gyro instead of chopped chicken breast with seasoning. read more

Terrific food. Went here for lunch with a co-worker, we were commenting how we are generally wary of food establishments in strip malls. This place is a great exception!! No need to to worry, this is a delicious option. I ordered the lamb gyro. Also had the monz sticks because I was feeling gluttonous. Everything was amazing. Was super impressed with the gyro, and it hit the spot before getting back to more meetings. Service was quick. Location was clean. Food was delicious. Friendly and quick service! The place is pretty clean from what I can see which is nice! I had the chicken pita and there was enough for 2 sandwiches! The pricing is decent too. Seriously the guy behind the counter (owner?) was so nice! I usually just get the chicken pita but my husband has had the Philly cheesesteak gyro and Italian beef and liked them both a lot. We have had hot dogs and fries as well and they are pretty tasty. read more

My brother introduced me to this place last year when I was back here for a while. Here we are again this year still going to this place so it must be pretty good. The owner is very friendly the service is good and the food is very hot and done well. I would highly recommend it. read more

Great Gyros and burgers. Pete is the nicest man. He always takes good care of me. I called one night shortly before close said hello and asked if he could make me something that did not involve having to clean up a mess so close to closing time. (I don't like to keep people from going home) Pete tells me "not to worry. Get yourself some dinner (he knew I had just gotten off work and could not have been nicer). Fantastic restaurant. Traveled in from out of town for a few days and tried this restaurant on a whim. Had the Lamb Gyro combo, and found the meat seasoned perfectly, cooked great, and was more meat than my Pita could handle. Wish I could have tried more items on the menu and will definitely be returning each time I visit Indiana. Also, the fries were pretty good. read more

Had to lower my review here. Over $10 for 2 hotdogs fries and drink. Total used to be $8.01, and that was high for around here. Dog were missing sport peppers and we're sloppy. Very uncharacteristic for this place. I won't be paying that for a skinny hotdog anymore. read more

One of the best places in the tri town area for gyros. Generous portions. We get the Gyros Platter with an extra pita, and it feeds us both. It includes fries, peppercini, Greek olives and a piece of feta cheese. They also have Baclava if you wish. read more

Rip off 2 gyro plates $27.00...they told me nobody gives 2 pitas with a gyro plate. It's in heard of...you pay the extra $4.50 for tsaziki sauce(is dumped in not in a side container)all over the place a 1 inch piece of feta and a handful of fries. I've been to Athens a few times, mykenos, santorini, Corfu, and Rhodes and every plate I've gotten has had enuff food and 2 pitas to feed an army. Stick to Panos in Calumet City, Nicky's, or around here Munster Gyros for legit food. read more

The only good thing about this place is that it's close to my house. Unfortunately I will never return. First off, you walk in and the place smells like the toilet overflowed. The guy behind the counter could care less that I was waiting to order. I ordered for my family. Gyros sandwich, gyro platter, 2 kids hot dogs all with drinks and fries. My wife got cheese fries that she would later regret..... The total came to almost $40.00!! So, we get the food home and start to dig in and noticed the "gyro platter" was not a platter at all. In fact, my wife had more meat on her sandwich than the platter had!!! The kids hot dogs were just disgusting. Although, one of my boys was so hungry he ate it anyways. Lol!! So, let's talk cheese fries..... my wife's cheese fries had the biggest nastiest black hair smothered under the fake cheese. She didn't notice the hair until halfway through the meal. Will not being going back to this place! I was sick for days after eating there gyros. Service was very slow and staff seemed unconcerned with my business. -5 stars for this service. My sister ordered a combo and the worker made it a combo with fries and a pop. She ordered a gyros with fries and a pop and he didn't charge her for a combo. He charged $10 extra for the pop and fries. She questioned why he wouldn't make both combos and he told her the owner could see everything and proceeded to remove her food from the counter and refused to serve her. I asked for my money back and he said he would not serve us. They are rude, expensive and the food is not that good. Go to Enzo's down 30 and get good service, more food and no crappy attitude. read more

VERY average at best! Not sure what to say except the prices are not too expensive. Gyro's are decent. This is just a place reheating Gordon Food Service items to me. If you're looking for greek fast food then this is a decent option. If you're looking for very good greek food you're better off at a LOT of other places. read more

I've eaten lunch here many times. Never had a bad experience. Good food, reasonable prices. Very friendly, efficient staff. This is a clean fast food restaurant, no frills, just good food. Large menu. I've had the gyros, hot dogs, chili, chicken gyros, polish... They serve what I've always called steak fries. Not seasoned (which I prefer). I've never used the restroom so I can't comment on that but I would assume it's clean based on the rest of the establishment. read more

Good chicago dogs, good gyros, but my favorite is the pork shishkabob on a pita! Very friendly staff and reasonably priced.

I eat at gyros express at least once a week. They have great food at a very affordable price. Also the staff is always very friendly.
