Great food and great service! :) Palestine's best Mediterranean. The hummus and shwarma wraps are amazing and the food is super fresh.

Mishkenut is our favorite go to spot for some of our middle eastern favs! The owner is amazing , hospitable and passionate about what she does . The food is fresh! we love the hummus , falafel, chicken shawarma raps, and the veggie plate. Veggies are always cooked well but not soggy!

I hadn't been here in awhile, am so glad I went. More importantly I will be back. We started out with Tzaziki dip and pita. It was delicious, and also different from what I was used to. Then ordered the combo plate and 2 of us ate on it and still has some food to bring home. If you are in a rush this may not be the place for you. They told us it would be a wait but it was worth waiting for. All of the food on the combo was delicious- Kafka, chicken Swarma, falafel, chicken, beef and of course rice and hummus.

I ordered the Shrimp sauteéd shrimp in garlic. It was absolutely amazing. The owner recommended that if I love seafood to try their salmon. I will be back!!!

I rarely ever write bad reviews, but the owner/worker here is one of the rudest women I've ever dealt with as a customer. I've eaten here before, and since there are no other Mediterranean options in the area, I've just dealt with her consistently being short-staffed and downright mean. Very long wait times for food and having to deal with her bad attitude is not worth it. Do yourself a favor and head over to Olive Leaves in Highland to get your fix instead! You don't get to treat your customers badly and still expect to deserve their business.

Listen. The people who have bad things to say about this place need to realize a few things. Right now, one woman runs this place. She has one server at best to help. When you come in, it may look empty. And she may honestly tell you that it's busy and you'll have a wait. That's because tons of people do takeout orders here. So even if it's an empty dining room, she is in fact busting her a** in there. She's not trying to discourage you, she's just being honest because she's probably tired of people complaining about wait times. So if you're impatient, go somewhere else besides this delightful hole in the wall. If you want a leisurely meal that tastes great, then hang around. We started with the falafel. The outside was crispy. The inside was moist and full of flavor and spice. We also had the mushrooms. I don't know if the mushrooms were fresh vs canned, but the sauce had good flavor. I had the chicken kebab entree, which was huge with a ton of chicken and rice with some accompanying vegetables. The chicken was juicy with just the right char. The rice was aromatic and fluffy. My husband got the cauliflower falafel wrap which was also quite tasty and bursting with fantastic tzatziki sauce. Our server was very kind and made sure we were taken care of. The digs are simple and unadorned. It has a diner/cafe feel. Our whole meal, two appetizers, a large entree, a large fat wrap, and even fries on the side (I would pass on the fries) was around 44 dollars before tip. A huge value for what amounts to a middle eastern home cooked meal.

Food was great, however, if your menu list at $28.99, a customer should never, ever get a bill with a charge of $34.99! I understand if cost have gone up and you need to adjust your prices. I can even understand if you haven't updated your menu. But I can't understand if you don't tell the customer of the new pricing! That's just bad business sense if not outright deceptive practices! The fact is this country has historically charged Black people more. You're setting yourself up for failure if you don't do the obvious!

Absolutely delicious; a must try if you like fast casual, mediterranean food!…read more STAFF are crazy friendly, accommodating, and helpful if you are between dishes. Even if they do not write down your order (such as my son's chicken dinner plate), they'll remember and bring it out to you when it's ready. The FOOD is delicious. You can tell they carefully season and layer chicken and lamb on the vertical rotisserie, despite the efficient electric 'shaver' that they use to carve the meat. Contrary to Yelper Cheryl P's experience, our lamb was tender and tasty. Falafel was beautiful and has a solid crust on the outside (that their plasticware struggles to get through). You can't go wrong with the Loukoumades to conclude. Delish! One Yelper suggested this is a Middle East subway? A better categorization is fast casual as there is some cooking, customization, and table delivery. Yes there's a line with the sliced vegetables, prepared sauces, etc. In a traditional, sit-down restaurant, that's still happening (you just can't see into the kitchen). NOTE: I do agree with Yelper, Steve M., prices are higher than most. I would argue it's A) the quality of ingredients, B) the made to order dishes, and C) environmental packaging for bowls (...although the rest are styrofoam). Feels like the norm these days if you want a solid meal. Believe me, I do and Covo delivers.

On more than one occasion we have been served the skin of the spick of gyro meat which, when new meat is placed on the stick to cut off, it is the really really tough outside and barely edible. Instead of the generous slices of meat, they cut the narrowest slices like strips of torn cloth. This is not the gyro meat i ate as a child. Next the pita bread was beyond stale; no doubt it is expired. It was extremely tough to chew. Most upsetting was the watery tzatziki sauce obviously given in that way to save money; the sauce is tasteless. Finally there was oil in the bottom of my container NEVER seen that before. So after returning the inedible meat for some meat that wasn't from the outside of the Spick, we attempted to eat this food and it made us sick. I had the worst indigestion. I don't know what was in that mystery tzatziki sauce, but it gave me a very bad upset stomach. My husband Ended up throwing out his food as did I. Unfortunately, after eating their on and off for the past 16 years that we've been married and living here, we will not be eating there any longer. I know that being a business owner is tough. I know that they have to be creative and fine ways to cut cost. However, they have to ask them sales will it ultimately cause them to lose business Because not only am I no longer eating there, I used to DoorDash from there when I had company, we won't be doing that any longer or referring people. Our health is the most important thing that we can take care of next to our children and of course, even more so our relationship with Christ. I can't risk my health eating food that is improperly prepared so someone can make as much money as possible in their business selling that food. It is on fair. From now on I'll be cooking from home a lot more on the weekends to prep for the week so I don't need to do these last-minute stops in the middle of the day for my lunch and my husband's dinner, it's unfortunate but it is a lesson well learned and $31 That I unfortunately just flush down the drain because I also paid a tip.
