Mt. Olive Mediterranean Food is absolutely fantastic! Everything we ordered was fresh, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. We had the chicken shawarma bowls, chicken shawarma wrap, and the mixed meat platter, and honestly, everything was delicious. The chicken shawarma was incredibly tender and seasoned perfectly, and the bowls were packed with fresh ingredients and amazing flavor. The shawarma wrap was just as good, and the mixed meat platter was a standout -- generous portions, great variety, and everything was cooked perfectly. What really made our experience special, though, was the owner and his hospitality. He was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and genuinely wanted us to have a great experience. He went out of his way to let us try several different items, at no charge, which was such a thoughtful gesture. It gave us the opportunity to try things we may not have ordered otherwise, and we ended up discovering some new favorites! You can tell that the owner takes a lot of pride in his food and truly cares about his customers. The combination of excellent food, generous portions, fresh ingredients, and outstanding hospitality makes Mt. Olive a place we'll definitely be returning to. I had an outstanding dining experience at Mt. Olive Mediterranean Grill. I've eaten at many high‑end restaurants across the country, and this place has quickly risen to the top of my list. The flavors, freshness, and quality of the food truly impressed me. The lentil soup was rich and comforting, the beef and chicken shawarma were perfectly seasoned and tender, and the hummus--which I normally never enjoy--won me over completely. I'm officially a fan now. What made the experience even more memorable was the chef himself. He came out to greet us, took our order and was one of the nicest, most genuine people I've met in a restaurant setting. His pride in the food and care for his customers really shows. Mt Olive Mediterranean provides an excellent flavorful experience for a customer's tastebuds. The customer service is above par with the personnel attempting to meet the needs of the customer. Just ask and they are willing to meet the desires of the customer. I greatly appreciated the customer service as customer service feels to be in decline in the last five years. A model to emulate. Absolutely Fantastic. Came in for the chicken and rice. Was served with a little salad. The flavors of the chicken were great. Slight citrus flavor, juicy and tender. The rice was cooked to perfection. The mini salad was very refreshing. The cucumber sauce has just a hint of mint. I liked it. Could see it on lamb. I believe the owner took care of my order. After looking over their very well pictured menu i choose two Kabobs with rice it exceeded my expectations. My wife and I discovered Mt. Olive while looking for a new place to simple and we are glad that we did. We ordered the chicken kebab and grilled shrimp platters both of which came with salad and deliciously seasoned rice. The owner/chef came out to check on how we enjoyed our food and treated us to a cup of hummus. The dining area isn't large and they seem to do more of their business as take-out, but we enjoyed dining in and interacting with the owner and server. Just finished our first take out from here. The food is fantastic, the owner is a great host! He gave us a sample of the beef, I had one bite, blinked and my daughter (a extremely picky eater) finished it. FINALLY, we found a solid Mediterranean take out spot since we moved here from Chicago in 2019. My girls loved the burgers, my wife and I loved the gyro plates. My husband discovered this restaurant about a month ago and it's now our favorite Mediterranean place. My favorite in general. The food is so good and the portions are unbelievable. You have to try this new place in Dyer. I had the filet medallions and rice. It had great flavor. Cucumber and tomato salad was tasty. Everything is made fresh. There are a few places to sit and eat but we took our order to go. Service was great. read more
