My wife and I otder from Marco's every week! This by far was the worst week!! Delivery time was charged twice! Then found out it was being delivered by door dash!! Wasn't happy with that!! Kudos to Marco's Pizza! Late-night hunger struck us. We were too lazy to go out and the weather is way too cold for us native Houstonians. Once I made the purchase, I received an email with a delivery time. To my amazement it was only a 30 minute wait time AND it was on time! A couple of negative things though. The mobile ordering was a bit finicky because when I tried to click the drop down menu, it was not opening. Secondly, I ordered cheesy bread and although there was a two sauce max, I only got one sauce. For some reason I couldn't change the quantity to "two" when I was choosing the dipping sauce. Now is that enough for me to give it a 4-Star rating instead of 5? Nah. I survived. The pizza itself was yummy! I ordered a pepperoni & sausage pizza. The pizza was saucy (just the way I like it) and the sausages were huge! I'm so used to the crumbled sausages that I was amazed at how large and flavorful they were! My last thing I want to add is that if you spend over a certain amount (the promo this time was to spend over $10), you get a free movie rental. I ordered early for 4:30 delivery but I was having trouble finding where my delivery was at 5. I was only called back when they said their couldn't find my street. I guess their delivery guys don't have GPS. Luckily when the order got here at 5:10 it was still warm. When I called and asked for a refund they put me on hold and never came back to the phone. The pizza is really pretty good for the price, IF you can get the phone app to place your order. Supposedly, when one places a phone order, an email confirmation is sent. In the over one dozen times I have tried to use the phone app, only once did I get the email confirmation. Every other time, I get to the store, only to find out my pizza order was NOT received. Staff told me to call to confirm the order was received when I place an order online. (?) They wanted me to phone in my order, when I'd I'd prefer to order online? Four times I did the follow-up call, learned they'd not gotten my order, but it was taken verbally. Numerous apologies from staff follows, with comments about how often this occurs. So, two weeks ago, I try again to order through my phone app. Why? Because that is how one can use the nice discounts which come in the texts one can sign up to receive. Much to my delight, it works!!!! Why? According to staff at Marco's, that's due to the new online website. The new website has numerous steps to 'build' your pizza, but it has removed the option of getting the (for me, preferred) thin crust :-( Tonight, I repeat my error: I place an order on the phone app, for a non-standard pizza. Since the new site worked last time (and I was involved in another task --that's why we wanted pizza for dinner), I failed to look for the confirmatory email nor do a follow-up call. Silly me....I trusted the new website. Sent the better half to pick up the pizza, and, guess what? MY ORDER WAS NOT RECEIVED. Yes, I'm shouting. I'm not a happy camper. An otherwise successful business should be able to get a phone app that functions! The counter staff said the same faux paus occurred ten (10!) times today (March 2) , and it was merely 6 PM..... I love Chicago pizza. I go to all the top name places and I even make my own. Something about this pizza has me hooked and I don't know what it is. Nothing about it tastes cheap. The crust is pillowy with a light crunchy bark. The cheese is gooey and thick, the meat toppings have good texture and flavor. The spinach is as good as any place I've had it, but better because it is less salty. They make the pizza fast in 15 minutes and there are always coupons (even online). I especially love the punch card that earns you a free pizza! You can also get a free rental with your pizza, AND have it delivered? That's so awesome and a great business move. read more

So far I've ordered Marco's Pizza 4 times. I've gone and picked up the food each time. This is literally attached to Family Video and they even have a walk up window right in the video store! The employees are nice and the food is really good. If you want a movie they will even deliver it with your pizza! If you have one for them to take back they can do that too! They usually have coupons in the paper where you get a pizza and movie deal. It's not the most perfect pizza in the world but the sauce is pretty decent and they use good cheese, the crust is ok. To whom is reading this, I live in Griffith and the Family Video store location here didn't carry a movie one night but Highlands did. I ended up at Highland Family Video and noticed the pizza restaurant connected. I never heard of the place and decided to try it. I paid about $15-17 for a pizza and Cinnabon dish. When I returned home I opened the pizza box to find out its similar to a Little Caesars style pizza. I felt right away, for the amount of money I had paid, it should have been a better quality pizza and not a $5 pizza. The crust was a little burnt and did not taste well. I then went to open the Cinnabon and it looked good. I took a bite and right away I knew something was wrong. It tasted just like plastic. As I looked at the spot where I had grabbed the piece in the plastic container, it was melted. I immediately threw it away and I will not be buying anymore food from this place. Husband and I just moved to the NW Indiana area and needed a quick dinner fix- AKA both of us on the verge of hungry plus being overtired. This place is super close to our new home so we thought we would try it out. I called the order in. The young lady on the phone was average (not overly nice or interesting but made sure she had our order right and etc). I ordered and XL Garden pizza with Chicken added on and Mediterranean salad. When the lady on the phone asked if I wanted a large or medium salad, I said... "um... I'm not sure the exact sizes so.. whichever will serve two people?" She replied, "okay. So I have a... (and went on to repeat our order)" I didn't know that the large would be the better option for two people until she finished repeating our order. No worries, but clarification would have been good. Side note: they offer thin crust pizza or original for all sizes of pizza except the XL. We are fans of the thinner crust pizza but were satisfied with the original - not too thick, and super tasty! Also, when I went into the store to pay and saw a perfectly-round, (most likely) formerly frozen, thin pizza crust being prepared to become a full on pizza, I assumed that it wasn't made in-house. When we came to pick it up, it wasn't quite ready yet (but we expected that since we got there a few minutes before it was supposed to be). I paid and got a punch card (cool feature for a pizza place!) When I was handed the receipt, I was told we would have a free movie rental for any movie with the matching colors on the current sticker (purple and yellow). So we went over and found a movie while we waited... we were actually right near the pick-up window that they have connecting the two stores and so they delivered our pizza right through there! read more

The most disgusting pizza I have ever not eaten!!! Little ceasars hot n ready for 5 bucks blows this pizza away. Ordered a pepperoni and cheese...the smell was god awful. It is ok in a pinch and offers a decent amount of coupons, but if you are in the mood for real pizza with sauce and a taste to satisfy a Midwesterner pizza craving you should probably think twice.
