ordered a pizza and went to pick up at the time stated (30 minutes). the place was completely empty, not a customer in sight but i had to stand at the counter for 5 minutes before anyone showed up. The lady claimed they were behind, and it would be done in 15 minutes. a full 30 minutes went by before my pizza was ready. The pizza was average at best. i wont be going there again. read more

What can I say they have excellent pizza. Family run pizzeria since the 1950's with 5 locations in northwest Indiana serving handmade pizza and sandwiches. Locally sourced ingredients fresh made dough daily for the different crusts they offer. Pizzas range in sizes from 10 inch all the way up to 18 inches. They offer GLUTEN FREE options. My favorite sandwich they serve is the supremo. It has genoa salami, Canadian bacon, pepperoni, onion, and mozzarella and served with their "to die for" homemade garlic dressing. Absolutely awesome and delicious. This location offers carry out and delivery. The delivery service is always quick and the drivers are very friendly and courteous. I love the food at state line. I have been eating here since I was a small child however locations differ! The best location is the Dyer location... THIS LOCATION SUCKS! I ordered six salads, they spent over $40 on this specific order they messed up the ingredients, tried to tell give me a horrible excuse and then didn't offer any solution! Didn't even apologize! My pizza is always cold they have no idea how to run a state line business and what the value of the name is!! read more

I really love the pizza here, but the last couple of times their delivery has failed me. Tonight I ordered 1 large pizza at 5:54pm, they tell me one hour and twenty minutes. It's 7:43 and still no pizza. The person that took my order didn't even apologize. I'm so hangry right now. read more

I ordered two pizza breads and a 1/2 appetizer special. The pizza breads were really really good and you can't beat the price! Delivery was extremely fast and food arrived hot! 1/2 appetizer platter was ok but pricy. I probably won't spend $13 on fried veggies again, but overall, food was really good! Thank you! read more

First time I've ever ate pizza from State Line and this is about the Highland location. I have to say, this is probably the worst pizza I have ever had in the area. The sauce was so watery that it made all of the crust (of my Stuffed Pizza) soggy and the pepperoni was practically raw. The pizza wasn't hot at all and I arrived on the 45 minute mark of when I was told to pick my order up. I think that warrants a hot pizza. My poppers were not even close to crispy, that when I picked them up, they just fell apart in my hands. They definitely needed more cooking time. The only thing I can say, is that the woman behind the counter was very nice. Unfortunately, that isn't enough to give them repeat business. read more

I lived in Chicago for many years and have experienced many of the famous foods. I ordered pizza on Friday State Line Pizza in Highland, Indiana. The pizza was excellent and very comparable to some of the best pizzas in Chicago. The customer service was top notch. This is a restaurant I would highly recommend! read more

If I could give zero stars, I would. But I'm only giving one because I want to leave a review. I came in before going to work to order something to go because I was starving, and the owner comes out yelling at me that I can't park in their customer parking spot. I go and park somewhere else, I come in to order food, her and her employees had the worst attitudes ever, to the point where I don't even want to order from here anymore. But at this point I was starving, so I did. While I was leaving, walking to my job a few doors down, the owner comes yelling outside screaming that it's only 15 minute parking and that I'm a liar because I told her "I wasn't going to the bar to drink I'm going to work " and That my car is going to be towed. Later, I went in and explained that I came in to eat, gave her Business by ordering from her, and then she comes out and yells at me for parking in the customer car parking spot, when it wasn't even my car! She called me a liar because I said I wasn't going to the bar to drink and I said I didn't go to the bar to drink! I went to work! And as I was walking out, she called mouthed something to me, I can only assume it wasn't nice, and told me to go drink some more! Some type of business owner ya got there! And to top it off, the pizza bread was terribly greasy and made me sick, the cheese was disgusting, and the pizza bread was burnt! This is my first and last experience here EVER and I encourage everyone to never give their business here. read more

Extremely disappointed in my pizza on the evening of March 4th. Ordered for delivery (first mistake ) from Highland location (2nd mistake). Took about an hour for my pizza to show up, opened the box to a PUDDLE of grease with a pizza underneath, I get pizza is greasy so I blotted it with about 6 paper towels. But as I bite into my first piece ...disgust. pizza sat so long either in delivery vehicle or in restaurant that the pizza crust was so soggy it would just fall off leaving a chunk of lukewarm cheese hanging. I now know to go PICK UP my pizza from the REAL stateline in Hammond. Just want to let you know your location is very disappointing and I will not be returning. read more
