    SAUTÉED RUBY RED TROUT LIMONE

SAUTÉED RUBY RED TROUT LIMONE was prepared wonderfully. We arrived at the restaurant after 2:00 PM on a weekday, they were not busy so service was outstanding. The restaurant has a great atmosphere. We ate in the large dining area, I have dined in the bar area before which is really cozy and plenty of great art work to look at.

We all enjoyed dessert. The serving of white mousse with pistachio was delicious.

Good food, never felt rushed, the service was great. We arrived at 5:45 on Friday and were seated right away.

This is a beautiful deco restaurant. I love the outdoor seating and the lovely dining area. My husband and I ordered the fried calamari and bread for delicious appetizers. For our main course, we had the chicken Parmesan, which was excellent, and the shrimp and shells with asparagus, which was also very tasty. A glass of white wine complemented my meal. The staff was amiable, and our waiter checked on us frequently. I will return to try other items on the menu.

From the highway, you are not really sure if this is a restaurant or a hall so I was glad to find reviews. I has passed this place many times and we decided to finally give it a try. We went around to the back and there is a whole scene for the entrance with plenty of parking. They certainly needed it with the amount of cars there along with an additional lot where they had a sign directing you to it. When you walk in, it smells amazing. You are thinking Italian before you walk in and then you are in Italy! It is a large dining room and you are met with the kitchen and Host. We opted for bar seating and there were no tv's to my husbands horror :) The bartender and the staff there were efficient and friendly. We ordered our app of calamari to start. It was chewy and larger than we like. The tomato sauce that came with it was delicious though. We barely ate it and let the bartender know we did not care for it. Maybe in these times they are unable to comp or something. Next, I had the lasagna which was okay and it was fresh pasta. I was hoping it was the same sauce as the calamari but it tasted different. I also ordered a side of meatballs as I was under the impression the lasagna was meatless. they were okay but may have been worked too much as they were a little dense. I must have read the menu wrong. My husband had the salmon special which he cleaned his plate. Everything came out fast and hot which was good. We decided to gamble on the dessert of the month which was a panettoni with caramel sauce. I liked it but he was not a fan. He is used to to different kind of bread pudding dessert. Overall it was good. I would like to go back and try something different.

Just had a great time with friend!!! They were all from the a Chicago area and it was their first time here. They really like it and all of our food and drinks were outstanding. (Only got a picture of the limoncello and meals, though.) Our server was very friendly and personable, but didn't check on us much. The bussers were very attentive, though. The ambiance was lively and energetic and very friendly.

Pretty, little, local spot. The food was good. We ordered the Garlic Roasted Bulb, Shrimp and Shells, Pan Roasted Salmon and the Crème Brûlée. The service was kind and so efficient. The atmosphere is on point. They have a lot for parking.

Cafe Borgia never disappoints! The restaurant is beautiful, full of the most thoughtful details from the plates, to the gorgeous light fixtures, even the straws! The food is always delicious, you are really getting quality ingredients and hearty portions for the price. Every time i have dined the service has always been attentive, kind and welcoming. Overall a must try in NWI, you will leave planning your next visit!

Fast-food quality at an exorbitant price. Pushy and overbearing waitstaff. A great place to drive past on your way to Culver's.

Prime rib is a normally a roasted meat but the friendly waitress asked how we liked it prepared and charred was of the two options presented to us. It was like we couldn't get the usual rare, medium or well-done scope of options. When it arrived, it was not the Prime Rib I was accustomed too but a charred thin steak with overboard seasoning. Being a man and a birthday party honoree, I decided to not complain or send it back as such would have been a very rude, unappreciative gesture to my host, I thought. What I learned here is this is not a place known for Prime Rib or steaks as it is an Italian eatery, stick with pizza and pasta dishes for the best satisfaction. Lesson learned.

Our server was really nice and even though she forgot the extra bread and water fill ups - we were treated nicely. And our food came out in perfect timing. Our food came with a side and also soup so we ordered the lobster bisque. I liked the taste of it but the lobster and onions were diced up and there was so much of it that it just didn't taste good. Onto the entrees I ordered the chicken Marsala and it came with two good sized chicken breasts and I opted for the fettuccine Alfredo on the side. Overall I give it a 7/10 - it hit the mark but wasn't impressive. We also ordered the Parmesan crusted 8 oz filet for $35. We asked for medium but it came out medium rare. Was a bit bland but we ate it. Overall we won't be back for a while but it's a good place to try when you want some Italian from an old school joint.
