This place is super cute! My friend had been before and suggested we enjoy some cocktails and apps here for girls night. We walked in on a Saturday night around 7:30ish and were able to find 2 seats at the bar with no issue. Very chill atmosphere. The ambience was fantastic. A bit dark, but perfect for a relaxing night of drinks and good convo! I had the matcha match and holy water (both vodka based drinks) and they were delicious!!! Super smooth and mixed to perfection. For apps we had the flautas and the king crab dip. Both were so flavorful! And I'm not a flauta kind of girl....get those. Trust me. Overall I enjoyed myself and wouldn't mind coming back! PS. The location is pushed back off the street behind some buildings.

I love this place for a girls night or date night. But it is very pricy. Very. A few drinks, and 2 appetizers will run you $100 for sure.

He read that they had remodeled too - I thought, good, maybe it's better than years ago. It got great ratings for the food & my parents had heard the same thing, so we went. When we got there @ 5:30, the place was empty. Never a good sign. I walked in the bar area & thought - definitely no remodel here! But the dining room was apparently redone. It was very clean. The paint job was just awful. Dark, drab colors & no decoration whatsoever. Kinda off-putting, but at least clean. Our server was very nice, no problem there. But the food - ugh! There were 4 of us & none of us were enjoying our food. The soup was probably the best thing. My steak was ok but absolutely no flavor. My mom's baked potato looked old & yellowish but mine seemed ok. Dad asked for blue cheese crumbles for his salad. He got a to-go cup of what looked like gray cauliflower pieces. She said it was gorgonzola, but it HAD to be old. They took $5 off the bill without my asking, which was nice. My mom got the fisherman's platter. It was a joke! It was like bad bar food! You couldn't make out what was what - everything looked the same. She said nothing had any flavor. My husband will ear damn near anything & even he wasn't happy. He ate the pork chops, but said they tasted like nothing. He smelled like garlic for 3 days, so they definitely had that! My dad ordered frog legs - again, no flavor. He was anxious to leave after dinner so he could swing by Portillos & get a beef sandwich. Their website lets you make a reservation. But when I called to confirm, they said they don't get those reservations. The guy said he didn't know why they even had that on the website because they don't ever get them. What?! Don't even think about eating here.

As always, the restaurant was clean and well maintained. We were seated in the coffee shop area, which was about half full. Our server greeted us immediately with a warm smile and welcoming personality. She promptly took our drink orders and returned shortly after to take our meal selections. We started with an order of chicken livers. There was a bit of confusion because on a previous visit I had ordered a half portion of the appetizer. I asked for that again, but the server seemed unsure. When the bill arrived, we were charged the full $16 appetizer price. After checking with the manager, she informed us that half portions are no longer offered. Had that been clearly explained upfront, I likely would not have ordered them. That said, the livers were outstanding -- possibly the best I've ever had. I requested the onions well done, and they came out perfect. The livers were tender, buttery, and beautifully seasoned. Honestly, they were hearty enough to be a meal on their own. My wife ordered the boned breaded perch lunch portion. We've had it several times before and it has always been excellent. The light breading allows the tender, flaky perch to shine. One small disappointment: there is now a $2 charge (noted on the menu) for melted butter to accompany the perch. I ordered the breaded frog legs, which we've also enjoyed in the past. They were delicious again. The same $2 charge applies if you want melted butter with the frog legs. Lunch portions include a side -- mashed potatoes with gravy, the daily vegetable (green beans), and a choice of four slices of marinated beets or coleslaw. Unfortunately, the green beans were served at room temperature. Aside from the misunderstanding regarding the appetizer portion, the service was excellent. We will definitely be back.

It's amazing with the homemade tartar sauce. Their dinner rolls are amazing. My family gets them for the holidays. Same with the coleslaw. Peppermint ice cream after the meal is so good too. It's a classic mainstay for Schererville.

I and a few other family members were invited by my mother and by the time I walked out, I was wondering why this place wasn't packed wall‑to‑wall every night. Let's start with Monday's AYCE perch -- absolutely outstanding. Lightly breaded, perfectly seasoned, and fried just right. It's the kind of perch that makes you rethink every mediocre fish fry your uncle threw that your family tolerated. If you're a perch person, this is your new weekly ritual. Then came the walleye, WATCH OUT NOW, and honestly, my sister wasn't prepared. She said it was flaky, flavorful, and cooked with the kind of herbs & spices she recognized that said, "Yeah, we know exactly what the hell we're doing." "It's the kind of fish that makes you pause mid‑bite and appreciate life for a second." But the real surprise of the night? The bacon, mushroom, and American cheese hamburger -- unforgettable. This thing deserves its own billboard. Juicy, stacked, and unapologetically delicious. Every bite felt like a small celebration. On top of all that, the place is spotless. I mean impressively clean. Floors, tables, bar area -- everything looked like someone had just finished polishing it. You can tell the staff takes pride in the space. And speaking of the space... Yes, the building once housed a gentleman's club. But now? It's so clean, so friendly, and so well‑run that the only thing dancing is your taste buds. The only thing exotic here is how good the food is. Pivot Lounge has officially earned a spot on my "must return" list. Great food, great service, great atmosphere -- and a glow‑up story worthy of its own documentary.
