Top notch food here, we were visiting from out of state for a volleyball tournament and were not disappointed! James was an excellent server and took care of us well, very accommodating to dietary modifications. read more

The team here created a fantastic experience for our rehearsal dinner. As you can imagine, with a high level of stress before the big day, we had already faced several challenges. It was nice to take a breath while these guys jumped into action. The food was spectacular. Well worth the money spent. read more

Management is very nice! Her name is Nicole! Food was ok too! Drinks are a little on the expensive side, but it is what it is! They have great entertainment bands as well! read more

Finally got the chance to try out 41 north on a Friday evening. Plenty of seats open at the bar and plenty of TVs to watch sports when they are on. Lots of draft beer options. Service was solid. There are multiple bartenders. The decor is very nice plus the outdoor patio looks great. One of us had the shrimp basket with fries which was good. I had the wings which were ok definitely better in the area. There was a band that came on at 8pm and it gets really loud when they close the doors. You definitely cannot have a normal volume conversation at that point. Plenty of parking available. read more

Loaded Bloody Mary is delicious. Love the Bbq flatbread. Quick service. Service is quick, never have to wait to be seated.

Such a great spot in town. We went for a "soft opening" and it was fabulous. Our service was outstanding and the food... really just delicious. We ordered the Cabin Combo. It comes with wings, mozz sticks, fries and fried zucchini. All well made and delicious. I ordered the Grilled Salmon and my husband got the Seafood Pasta. Everything. Just so yummy. My work bestie and I went back for dinner a couple weeks later and the food just was as good and the service even better. I ordered the Caprese Salad this evening and YUM. I've had nothing but the best experiences here. There is a lot for parking. read more

This is really a pretty cool concept. They've not been open long under this ownership so I hope they can work out the kinks a bit more. It's a difficult setup, large building, lots of staff. I had a steak sandwich and it was a bit bland. The steak was a little overcooked and under seasoned. The fries were pretty tasty and the tea was good. My wife had the burger and said it tasted like it had been frozen for a while and also lacked seasoning. The cook on it wasn't bad though for her taste. I do appreciate the added separation (glass) from the bar, but they should close the door when the band starts. Not everyone eating dinner wants to yell over music. But, there's a lot of potential there. I hope them the best. read more

We came here on a Sunday night and it was not too crowded at all being Labor Day weekend. Our server was extremely friendly and did a wonderful job serving our table. To start we had a blueberry margarita which tasted good and strong and then we also order whiskey neat - which is hard to mess up. We skipped straight to the entrees for dinner and let me tell you were we pleasantly surprised. We had the BBQ chicken flatbread which was nothing to wow about but had good flavor and was cooked great. Lastly, the fan favorite I had was the grilled chicken California sandwich. This chicken was large, juicy and cooked well. I wish the seasoning on it was just season salt as it overpowered the sandwich a bit but honestly it was good and I'm still craving it. Fries are regular fries nothing special. We'll be back to try the burgers next time! read more

Glad to see it open. Food was ok. Service, was better than food. The chopped salad wasn't worth the price, was poorly presented and plain.

I sat at the bar, but since I was on call, I could only have an iced tea. Waitress was very friendly and prompt with refills. I ordered a side Caesar salad, which was very good with gigantic homemade croutons. My meal was the skirt, steak sandwich, and the homemade potato chips. I give the potato chips, a nine out of 10 and the skirt steak sandwich a seven out of 10. The steak sandwich was great, but the bread to steak ratio was offkilter. I took both pieces of steak and put it on 1/2 of the bread and made a great sandwich. read more

A local restaurant that is made to look like a beautiful north woods cabin resort. Has a large outdoor deck. They also sponsor local bands. Their menu consists of everything from soup, sandwiches, to prime steaks. Hamburgers are 1/2 pound. At our visit we had two hamburgers and the walleye sandwich. None were exceptional but they were okay. And like the soft drinks a bit pricey. Our server was their saving grace. She was excellent. Because without her, despite the beautiful atmosphere, unfortunately, the ordinary tasting food and the costs, my review would have been worse. read more

The food all seems like it's prepackaged. The drinks are just okay The staff was friendly.

What a refreshing experience! "Northwoods" has always held a special place in my heart--it's one of the most unique buildings in the region. Over the years, many have tried to capture its potential, but most fell short. 41°N Tavern feels different. This new rendition finally delivers on what the space was always meant to be. I've been about six times now, and every visit has been fantastic. The service is top-notch: the hostess is one of the best in the business, the bartenders are quick and friendly, and the wait staff is consistently patient and attentive. The food? Spot on. Steaks, burgers, pasta, and pizza--everything has been excellent. And now that they're starting to roll out specials, I can already see this becoming a weekly go-to. 41°N Tavern has taken a beloved landmark and truly made it shine. Clean, welcoming, and consistently great--this is the version of Northwoods we've all been waiting for. read more

The Tuesday tacos are the best. We had the chicken and el pastor tacos and they were delicious especially at the Tuesday special price. Our server Katie was great. Kept checking on us. The outside deck right by the water is the place to be with this nice June weather read more

I ordered the mahi-mahi to go. It came with Angel hair pasta on the side. For my side, I had the asparagus. The fish was seasoned well, but for some reason, the angel hair pasta was very, very bland. There were capers in there, but those too were very bland. The place looked very nice and festive. read more

Started out a sh!t show. Kids NYE party had the place jammed, but they were able to seat our party of 5 quickly, and our server was great. I got the sausage/pepperoni pizza and it was great. Recommended! read more

This was our first time since re-opening. Had a party of eight and sat in the patio area. It was Fantastic!!! The FOOD was terrific and really big portions. Order the appetizer sample platters Absolutely Amazing. My only suggestion is that trying to make a reservation online was told nothing was available (tried several different times) was about to call someplace else. Decided last minute just to call directly. Which worked out fine. The place was pretty much empty. It was 4pm on a Sunday. But wonder how many other customers they lost. Check it out, It's well worth it. read more

I really like this location. The food is good. It's a little pricey, but it's a really nice place on Fridays and Saturdays. They have live music and I've heard some really good bands. There. Their steaks are delicious most of the sandwiches I've had were really good. I have no complaints about the food whatsoever. Service is always good and the ambience is great. It's a cute little place. They're busy so it's best to make a reservation on the weekend. They also have red cream soda on tap. That's a big plus you don't find that everywhere. read more

Can't get a White Russian cocktail. They don't have the resources servers seem nice and were very apologetic. Had the flaming cheese, frozen and cold in the middle. The fish and chips ehhhh, all the breading fell off. But the staff was amazingly nice. We will try again and hopefully will upgrade the stars. read more

Overpriced low quality food. The ambiance is nice but the food is trash for the price

Food and staff was amazing.prices are reasonable and the building is one of a kind remarkable!

Beautiful place and food is great. Huge liquor menu and prices are ok. Huge bar as well

Our time at 41N Tavern was awesome! Our Waitress was excellent, knowledgeable about the menu, very attentive too! I had the California Chicken Sandwich, my friend the Patty Melt! She had some Wine and I had Strawberry Margaritas - YUM! We were not rushed; got our food and drinks in no time! We sat at a comfy booth! Afterwards we walked out to the patio and looked around at the rest of the restaurant. We went at 2pm so it was a perfect time to go! Loved it! read more

Forgot to mention, for dessert try the bread pudding it's fantastic worth trying, you won't be disappointed.

Wow excellent service and great food. From appetizer to main meal delivered fast and hot. James was attentive and friendly with such an upbeat personality. Doesn't compare to the prior restaurant! read more

Molly is the best employee! Always smiling. Always happy. And rolls silverware like a BOSS!!

The place looked great!! I had the Chicken Parmesan. The chicken was very salty , spaghetti and sauce ok. Bread sticks delicious and soft. Zucchini appetizer was delicious. The dipping sauce was good Bad tea. The waitress brought me a new glass and it too was old and nasty. The waitress made an excuse that it was just made. I just drank my water. No salt and pepper on table finally a catty came with salt pepper, A1, ketchup, mustard and hot sauces and Lea and Perrin whishashire sauce. I like that! Any sauce you might need. Asked for a dessert menu. Carrot cake took a minute to get, but was fantastic!! The place is new so I look forward to another visit to see if there is improvement. read more

Over priced and under delivered. Ordered two medium burgers got two very well done burgers at $40 $4 for a pop that was mostly ice. Staff seemed confused and unclear on duties and responsibilities. Great vibes with a live band. App platter was awesome. Unfortunately, I can legitimately say I've never had a worse pizza in my entire life. The crust was a frozen saltine cracker and that's not an exaggeration. It's not edible. Stink, stank, stunk. read more

Me, wife and kids recently went to 41N. We all shared the mozzarella sticks for an appetizer they we out promptly and were delicious. Me and wife both got the fish and chips they were huge 3 big pieces of fish with tartar sauce and lemon wedge with fries very filling. My son got mushroom burger again very big looked great. My Dad and I love the seafood pasta!!! Every time we get it he RAVES about how fantastic it is!

Food and service was great. Beer was cold as ice. Music was great the night we ate there.

Very good food. Service took a bit, but nothing horrible. A bit noisy and hard to have a conversion.

We decided to try a new place out for the night. We sat outside and met our waitress and was given waters, at that time we were asked if we wanted anything else to drink. Drink orders were placed. We than waited 17 minutes for our drink order and my wife never received her root beer. We than waited another 15 minutes for her root beer and tried to place an appetizer order and our waitress never returned back. Very disappointed especially since they were not busy. read more
