The food is phenomenal. The skillet was so good. The set was great. The hashbrowns were the best I've had in ages. So incredibly good.

First of all, walked into the restaurant and the place looks clean and inviting. Wait staff was quick and courteous to get us seated, so this seemed like a decent place so far. We then placed our order and our waitress was fantastic. If I were only rating the wait staff it would be a full 5 stars. Then came the food. I ordered a baked mostaccioli, and it was very watery. No flavor was in the sauce at all. Not even the slice of mozzarella that covered the pasta was enough to save it. Took the rest home, and definitely didn't feel the food was worth it. To make matters worse, I looked up at the ceiling and saw a clear case of black mold (pictured). If it weren't for the great wait staff, I'd give 0/5 stars. read more

Stopped by and ordered a taco salad with beef, taco salad with chicken, patty melt and a chicken melt. All of the orders came with lemon rice soup and chicken dumpling soup and huge rolls. Everything was delicious!!! Sorry we ate the other food and forgot to take a picture. read more

We'll all I can say is that my two favorite servers are Sonia and Madeline every time I go there they put a smile on my face and make me feel like a king. Great service you too. I ordered 2 eggs with bacon, toast, and substituted fruit instead of potatoes this morning. Per the menu my cost should have been $12.56 (tax included). I received a bill for over $17. I did not order a drink. When I asked about this the manager mumbled something about being the last customer to get an old price, made changes to their electronic register, and walked away. The girl at the counter told me the cost was $16.56. When I asked why still so high she just said "that's what he entered". Their charges do not match the menu prices. read more

Went here recently with the whole family, and had an overall enjoyable experience. The lemon rice soup left me thoroughly satisfied (five stars), but some of the other dishes were not quite as strong. Neither of my two children were able to finish their food, although they are both notorious picky eaters. The service was excellent, and the wait-time manageable. Orders Gyros for dinner. The meat was great but the tzatziki sauce was horrible. It was like runny water. Very sad.

We ate at this restaurant previously and the owner honored my card for the gastric bypass surgery and let me eat off the buffet for the kids price today when we went in there he refused to honor it and told me that I could order off the menu if I wanted to eat. He said that the last time it was an exception. Which we were never told that otherwise if he would have we would have never gone back. We will never go back there again. I have live in LOFS for 10 years and have been going to Baja since I move here. It was the first restaurant I went to when first moved here and today is looking like the last time I will go there. I went there with my aunt and husband today and had a Spinach, Feta and Bacon Omelet. The server joked when they were done with their meal and I had eaten 15% of mine. My omelet was very salt and the bacon was not bacon, it was all fat. I pulled the fat aside and told the server, she said well it must have been the end of the piece and thats what you got, you should ask to have it crispy. If she knew this could happen, why not tell the customer. She didn'ttry to do anything to help, gave us the bill and that was it. read more

Very underrated diner in my opinion! Very cozy and has that local breakfast joint feel to it. It is home to, in my opinion, the BEST lemon rice soup EVER and their breakfast is second to none in my book. Great management and never had a bad server or cashier. Baja's is a local favorite. When I lived in the Winfield/Lakes of the Four Seasons area, my family and I would come to eat here a lot. I miss it now. As other reviewers have mentioned, the decor is a little dated but clean. I'd say that the majority of their clientele is probably families and older folks. The servers are always nice and you always eat well when you come here. Along with your meal, you also get a choice of soup or salad (I recommend the lemon rice soup). read more

I didn't know it was a breakfast place until I saw the other reviews. I thought it was a bar or a Mexican restaurant. On that note... The food was very good! I had the Corned beef hash and my son had the 1x1x1. The food came rather quickly and more importantly it was hot and delicious. The service was good, the waitresses seemed to know some of the other customers pretty well as regulars which is always nice to see. I will definitely be returning here. read more
