Freshly made pretzels and pretzel bits. I'm a big fan of the cinnamon pretzel and the frozen lemonade.

I had the wurst teller and substituted the side of fried potatoes for a side of the cucumber salad. The sausages were very good, and the portion of sauerkraut was generous. The food and beer here are great, as are the ambiance and service!

Small Bavarian flags are strung everywhere making it always ready for Oktoberfest, regardless of the time of year. The service was very good and friendly, offering to answer any questions. In our case, we were a 16 year old teen from Germany, and I've lived in Germany for two years. My spouse and I have visited many times. All the service was prompt without being overbearing. The food was good. The schnitzel was very good (pork schnitzel), both with and without the wild mushroom sauce. The potato salad was a little weird but tasty; never had potato salad quite like that in Germany. The spätzle was very tasty, but rather huge chunks. It's normally a lot smaller and more uniform, using a Spätzle-Hobel. This looked more like the dough was broken up by hand. Again, still quite tasty. Wine and beer selection were good, with most things sourced from Germany.

As I'm writing this I'm regretting not playing one of the arcade games they have. The service was friendly, quick. Beers were delicious. It wasn't my favorite Pilsner but the IPA I got was spot on, should have stuck to it. Nice little Sunday afternoon. Oh, and there was a food truck - I didn't eat but my friends got some snacks. Snacks are always good.

It's located right at the entrance of an industrial area. There is a very small lot for parking but it was completely full when we visited today, so we parked along the road where a number of other cars were also parked. This seemed to be okay and the signs just requested folks not park on the grass. The entrance is set back from the street so you kind of need to go around towards the back. We saw they had a food truck, Farm to Sandwich, which although kind of pricey, was super delicious. We both got the All American Smash burger with fries. Fries were so crisp and well crafted and the burger was amazing with a great sauce reminiscent of a Big Mac. For beers, since it was our first time here, we decided to try a bit of everything with flights. Their flights are $13 for 4, 5 oz pours. I chose the Coffee Milk Stout, You are Such an Ass, Bienvenu and Justin's Jangle. We started which the You are Such an Ass IPA, which was described as a light IPA but really didn't taste like an IPA at all. We honestly thought they had poured us the wrong beer. As IPA enthusiasts, this was disappointing. The Bienvenu, which is a Red Ale with Panela (unrefined Colombian sugar cane) was infinitely better. The Coffee Milk Stout, I understand is very popular, but I thought this was average. Justin's Jangle, a Maple Praline Porter was my favorite! Really nice, complex brew! We also really enjoyed the live music from Jake Frezza, a local musician out of North Providence. He sang and played guitar and covered a diverse sampling of songs including Brittney Spears (Toxic), James Taylor and Marvin Gaye. His version of "What's Going On" was particularly excellent. I normally dread listening to live performers at breweries but this guy is actually very talented! Kudos to Ravenous for engaging such a high quality musician! Also, for a Saturday, it was not overcrowded or over run with kids. There was just one family with a super quiet baby and we noted just one dog inside. On exiting, I saw they have a nice memorial where they offer to pour a beer to a fallen service member. Very nice! Gender neutral restrooms Pinball Separate rooms make it quieter than breweries in just one big industrial space. Friendly service at the bar and no lines! Bar stools with no back, kind of uncomfortable and there seemed to be no other seating options like chairs or sofas. In summary: Highlights: Bienvenu Red Ale Justin's Jangle Jake Frezza live music Nice memorial to fallen soldiers Low Lights: You are Such an Ass IPA Barstools/ seating Would definitely stop back here again when in the area!

I had a hard time choosing between the Pretty In Pink strawberry lager and the Apple Pie Seltzer, but the PIP was actually all out (so sad!!) so I went with the seltzer. It had a strong almost artificial scent, but a much more mild flavor. It wasn't too sweet and had notes of cinnamon - very unique and drinkable, although I don't think I'd need more than one. I was surprised and pleased to see they have a food menu. There's a pretty big parking lot but it's very uneven and filled with pot holes, and people park a little...erm...creatively - you've been warned. On weekends I've seen the main and overflow lot fill up, and I couldn't even find street parking, so had to go elsewhere - plan accordingly. The tap room is big and has nice bathrooms that are always clean. The main seating option are long picnic table benches - my back personally cannot do a backless seat for more than an hour without being in pain, so take that into consideration. It's also kind of awkward to swing your legs into the seat every time you have to get up, especially if it's full and you're in the middle. I'd love this place so much more if it just got normal tables and individual chairs with backs! My favorite thing about this brewery is that it is dog friendly and there are usually multiple gorgeous furry faces here to oggle over.

GG’s Pretzels - Pretzel rods and some local goods

If you live in Warren and haven't been to GG's Pretzels yet, what are you waiting for?…read more The shop itself is pretty no frills, but honestly that's fine; this is grab-and-go food at its core, not a sit-down experience. What matters are the pretzels, and on that front they deliver. Don't let the words "soft pretzel" conjure up images of a soggy mall kiosk situation, because that's not what's happening here. These are large, beautifully baked pretzels with a rich, pillowy interior and a deep golden crust that has more in common with a brioche than anything you'd find at an Auntie Anne's. We grabbed the classic salted and the sour cream and onion. The classic with yellow mustard for dipping is simple, satisfying, and delicious. The sour cream and onion had a generous coating of seasoning that hits you immediately and keeps delivering all the way through. Then there's the chocolate dipped pretzel rod situation. The display case is genuinely dangerous to stand in front of. There lots of varieties, covering everything from S'mores to Cranberry Pistachio to Heath Bar Caramel. We picked up the lemon and the GG's D'Lite. The lemon is bright and snappy; a perfect balance of sweet and tart that I keep coming back to. As for the D'Lite, I was told it tastes like a Samoa. If that holds up, I may have a new favorite on my hands. They also carry products from a handful of other local businesses, which is a nice bonus if you're looking to pick up a little something extra. Go in, grab a soft pretzel, they are warmed up while you wait, and I dare you to try and leave without a few rods from the case. Lol Pro tip: this is a tricky spot on a busy road and at first glance, looks like parking is even trickier, but there is a decent sized parking lot in the back that you can pull into from the front left of GG's or from the side street, Homestead Ave., and GG's has both a front and rear entrance so don't let this intimidate you.
