After all the shopping we did, we worked up an appetite; not large enough to eat a full sit down…read moremeal, rather, a snack. Shake shack appeared before us, so my friend and I decided to share a burger. I t was his first time, so I stuck to the very basics - a classic single cheeseburger with parmesan garlic fries (okay, the fries weren't so basic). We used their kiosks to order which were very easy to navigate, took a number, and found a table - although all the booths were taken since it was packed. The total was around $15 pre tip ($7.99 + $5.99) which I thought was a bit steep. While we waited, we served ourselves some water and got some ketchup at the counter. We also noticed how attentive the staff were; immediately cleaning up after customers and bringing the food to your table. I typically don't tip at fast food restaurants but I am glad I tipped here since they really work for it. The food came out after about 15 minutes. The burger looked delicious, albeit a little small. I was hoping the fries would have shredded instead of grated parmesan. The fries were okay, and so was the sauce. I would have preferred the regular cheese fries. The burger was also okay. Everything tasted very fresh. I think a double patty would have made it better, but it was not worth paying $2.50 more for a thin patty. The toppings were fresh, and the cheese was perfectly melted. The bathrooms were pretty clean. I think this spot is relatively new at Wrentham and will do well - it's quick good food and there's seating.

Tried Shake Shack today and honestly it was pretty disappointing. Our order took over 30 minutes,…read morethe trash was overflowing in both the dining room and bathroom, the fries were still cold in the middle, and by the time I finally got my drink, all the ice had already melted. If we had noticed the overflowing trash before we ordered, we definitely would not have eaten there. Definitely not the experience we expected.

Also one of the sandwiches was supposed to be a wrap but they put it on a roll and it was supposed to have grilled mushrooms but it didn't. Very disappointed especially because we have been customers for a long time

So the food at D'Angelos is NOT what it uses to be. The quality took a dive quite awhile ago but I…read morestill enjoy their steak and cheese once I awhile. That being said, I have a major issue with the new portion sizes. It seems like since they started offering the one pound of meat (pre cooked weight) sandwiches, the regular sandwiches are far far more bread than actual sandwich contents and for the prices this really sucks. The service at this location also seems to have taken a nose dive. Let me say this.... attn D'Angelos corporate bosses. There is no shame in having employees write stuff down! When I order large ham & cheese with lettuce and oil & vinegar and you ask me 3 times after starting the sandwich what was going on it again you don't give me much faith in your ability to make a sandwich. Please just start writing the orders down just like when someone calls in an order. Lastly, the ambiance of this specific location is poor at best. The dining room looks like a dump and in the short time I was there today a worker walked through the kitchen, into the dining room and out the front door with a bag of trash which I'm pretty sure is agains the health department rules. Come on D'Angelos, you used to put Subway to shame and now it's sadly a close race. This last thing is just me being curious and may not be a slight on D'Angelos, but who in their right mind goes into this shop and orders a $65 lobster roll combo?!? Thanks for reading.
