So the food at D'Angelos is NOT what it uses to be. The quality took a dive quite awhile ago but I still enjoy their steak and cheese once I awhile. That being said, I have a major issue with the new portion sizes. It seems like since they started offering the one pound of meat (pre cooked weight) sandwiches, the regular sandwiches are far far more bread than actual sandwich contents and for the prices this really sucks. The service at this location also seems to have taken a nose dive. Let me say this.... attn D'Angelos corporate bosses. There is no shame in having employees write stuff down! When I order large ham & cheese with lettuce and oil & vinegar and you ask me 3 times after starting the sandwich what was going on it again you don't give me much faith in your ability to make a sandwich. Please just start writing the orders down just like when someone calls in an order. Lastly, the ambiance of this specific location is poor at best. The dining room looks like a dump and in the short time I was there today a worker walked through the kitchen, into the dining room and out the front door with a bag of trash which I'm pretty sure is agains the health department rules. Come on D'Angelos, you used to put Subway to shame and now it's sadly a close race. The ambiance is a little depressing. No toilet paper in the men's room. I didn't feel like carrying a wad of toilet paper from the ladies to the men's so I ended up using the ladies. But the ladies room is so cramped that I somehow managed to bang my head on the sink as I was getting up from the toilet. It still hurts almost 24 hours later. Franchised sandwich shop chain, one of the better ones. I got a medium Italian grinder with hot pepper spread, no onions. My friend got a steak and cheese grinder. Everything was awesome. I like that they use fresh ingredients and don't skimp on portions. They even brought it out to us in the dining room. Great sandwiches, good service and decent prices. Have been here several times in the past but definitely won't return after 6/16/22. $37 for 2 medium subs & Greek salad with grilled chicken ( if you want to call it that) chicken is small " pieces " and minimal and not grilled but cooked on a flat top. I'm not sure why there are so many negative reviews for this location.... I stop in every few weeks at different times for lunch and the staff is always friendly and polite, even though they are always busy. I only get 2-4 things there and they are always good. I usually get the tuna salad in a pita/pocket with extra lettuce or the steak pocket with just mushrooms - no cheese or onions (sometimes I have it on lettuce and no bread) . The tuna is good - made with not too much mayo and the lettuce is crisp and fresh. The steak and mushrooms take time to cook but always tastes good whether on the pita or the salad. The pockets are fresh and I usually take it to go. So again, I have not had a problem with this location and so I would recommend it. read more

Saw a roach on the table - there is a younger girl who is a blonde who talks about many customers - one she was talking about was how some guy wanted extra pickles and she just thought that was so weird. Is he paying for the subs? Then give him all the extra pickles he desires or charge him a bit extra. I mean oh man the pickles are going to bust the bank on this place. So ignorant. Wouldn't expect less with the ages of some of the ones working here. I ordered the lobster salad there which is a salad with lobster on it, (wouldn't think I had to clarify it or do sign language and point) and again the blonde younger chick looked confused. If I wanted your lobster ROLL I would have said that word. But she claims she didn't know if I wanted the roll or the salad. Well the word SALAD usually gives away that you want just that. I dont get the negative reviews either. Consistently good and efficient service. I think all the Dangelos locations are in need of a revamp and this one is no different. However, the staff is friendly and I never have any issues with my orders. One tip... may want to mop 30 minutes or so til closed, or afterwards. I get this is a chain restaurant and reviews for these type places are taken with a grain of salt. That said, I'm a fan of D'Angelos and it is very disappointing to see what this location has become, a complete joke. I get majority of workers are young, don't really care about their job, or the customers, this location it is really evident. You'd hope some of the employees would show some pride, they do not. You'd hope their manager would do what is necessary to make the location serviceable, doesn't happen. Called in an order tonight, just a plain steak n cheese pocket, that's it, simple.. guess what I got? Steak n Cheese with mushrooms, peppers, onions, mayo.. and, sadly, wish I could say this was the first time but sadly this is three (3) straight orders completely incorrect. I know many will say, "why keep going back?" I really like their sandwiches, but even those have nose dived. I'm not sure if it's a new hired help or what but this place is not what it used to be. We ordered couple of sandwiches one of them a chicken vermonter, crispy bacon and toasted bread. When it came out the bread was soggy and the bacon very rubbery! I work less than half a mile up the street from this D'angelo location and the driver gets lost every time. The phone service is clueless of it's own menu and assured us that "The drive should be there in a minute or so" when she had no idea who was calling. Food was cold when it got there 1h35m later (half a mile up the street) and the three sandwiches were missing items or not even made the way the menu described it. Have never written a review before until I came upon this place . Had a great experience with the all the workers EXCEPT one and that one worker is the reason I am never returning to this location. She is a blonde older woman who is absolutely the most miserable person I have ever come by and the two times she had made my order , she had messed up not just by a little bit but by a long shot. She is probably one of the most rudest people I have come across with fast food. I have been enjoying subs from Dangelos since the mid 80's. I was always a fan and you knew what you were getting. Over the past few years I have become very disappointed in the value you receive. They have shrunk the size of their sandwiches, what was once a medium is now called a large. It's come to a point that I have decided put them on the list of places not to go any longer. They screw you over. They don't let the staff count their tips, they save them for the week and split what you earned on your shift with every employee. The general manager is not professional, he hung up on me. They also are very understaffed and even when there is help, they should really have another person of shift so you are able to count tips evenly at the end of their shift and customers don't have to wait so long for their food. Cooperate doesn't seem to care about any of these reviews or care enough their business to actually make it successful. It's a sandwich shop. (we did have two buy one get one coupons to use up before 12/31. ) we ordered 4 sandwiches. steak,and onion, 2. steak onion and cheese, 3. a chicken #9 without mushrooms, and 4. a tuna with lettuce, pickle and tomato. I have not used their delivery service, but inside the establishment everything is like a well-oiled machine. All the workers are friendly, and they really know how to keep things moving between placing orders in-house, placing orders over the phone and paying for orders. Sandwiches are also prepared right in front of you, and you can tell the workers put care into them. I have been to other D'Angelos locations, and Attleboro is my favorite so far. read more
