A gem of a bakery! I was in the area and knew I had to stop in to see what they were all about. The spot is small as others have said, but jam packed with a ton of great options. You can tell they put a lot of care into designing the space and selecting additional products to showcase beyond the bakery case. I went later in the day and they still had a good selection left. I got the peach melba cake, which was super tasty. It was $12.50 and while it was a huge square of cake, it was probably a bit more than I wanted to spend. I also got the RI homemade candy bar which was $9. The salted toffee cookie at around $5 was super tasty. They had a ton of other delicious looking things within the case as well and I saw they make sandwiches and have coffee/tea options. They also have a good variety of grab and go canned drinks too. The man running the counter was very kind and answered all of my questions. I look forward to visiting again.

We saw this spot pop up in our neighborhood and wasn't sure what it was. Like a good spot? A clothing spot? A service? Lol Then we saw people sitting outside with coffees and that's when we decided to check it out. It's a cute little local bakery that had pastries, savory items, sandwiches, coffee, some retail sweets and drinks and other things that I probably didn't discover yet. We got scones, coffee and a very delicious and fresh focaccia bread. The staff there were so friendly too. Highly recommend supporting this spot.

Cute place, found through an Instagram referral from a place from NY. Away from the highway, super cozy location. It's a pickup and go place, but totally worth the visit. Stopped by and tried the hot chocolate with homemade whip cream and marshmallows. Traditional hot chocolate with an added bonus. Tried the coffee cake strudel, they offered a taste of the crust. That was what sold me, anytime an owner is ready to let you try the flavor. It has to be delicious and it was. Picked up the homemade truffles, and the Madeline. It was all superb, the flavor and quality. Glad they don't have a sit down, would have ended up trying a little bit more and adding a few more pounds to the waist lines. Worth the visit, Saturday morning couples for breakfast or afternoon desert. Love the fresh taste and quality ingredients. It's pricey as mentioned in another post. But quality is never cheap. So worth the occasional treat

    German chocolate cake

Custom order German Chocolate Cake was incredible! It's a "grown up" cake with a grown up price. The flavor, beauty and quality were excellent. 6" cake would be almost 12 reasonable servings because it was almost 12" tall. Ordering and pickup were easy.

We also tried the Jerusalem bagel, the chocolate chip scone, coffee cake and I cannot remember what else. Loved the vibes and the service was friendly. Would definitely stop in for coffee if you're in the area!

While the price of these is steep at $17/loaf you could taste the quality ingredients and loving craftsmanship in each and every bite. Parking can be challenging especially seeing this restaurant runs on Lonsdale Ave a busy street in itself. The line was out the door and that's where I stood waiting patiently. The love moves at a decent pace. Here finally my turn and I honestly had no clue what to expect or what they even really sold but I was hoping they had anything that contained ham and cheese and they did, Brad with ham and cheese for $3.50 I was surprised that was all. They do gave finger foods, drinks coffee and fruit drinks, breads, pastries of many sorts. I was tempted to get a pastry but I stayed focused. The bread was actually good and tasted fresh they only concern which was a big one for me was that there was hardly any ham and cheese in it and I mean like barely none. I could have actually went with just bread as that's what I felt I received. Would I return maybe especially if I am in mood for something g sweet as the variety was plenty to choose from. There is a sit down area on both sides of the restaurant with one big screen tv. This place seems more of a grab and go type establishment. They open at 5:00am and close at I believe 9:00 pm

I found the shop tucked away in my old stomping grounds, and when my GPS announced I had arrived, I was pleasantly surprised to see it now occupies what used to be a beloved old Italian bakery. There's a small parking lot right next to the well-marked entrance, and their adorable bespectacled cupcake logo makes for a charming first impression. Inside, the space is a nostalgic dream for fans of all things pop culture. The décor spans across countless beloved universes--Marvel, Star Wars, Disney, Harry Potter, Pokémon, Mario, and more. Familiar faces like Batman, Spiderman, Thor, and the Hulk line the walls and shelves, giving the whole place a fun and immersive vibe. But let's talk about the real stars: the baked goods. The display at the entrance is packed with eye-catching treats--cakes, cupcakes, cookies, and beyond. Everything looked just as mouthwatering in person as it did in the photos that initially drew me in. In addition to desserts, they also offer cannoli, cinnamon rolls, brownies, breakfast wraps, sandwiches, bagels, toasts, bowls, and a variety of drinks including coffee, smoothies, and iced options. Since I was there for cupcakes, I picked out three flavors: Mocha Cappuccino, Banana Pudding, and Chocolate Peanut Butter Banana. I only got to try the two banana ones, but both were delicious. The Mocha one smelled heavenly though! A surprise bonus--the cupcakes had fillings, which I wasn't expecting. The frosting-to-cake ratio was perfect, and the cake itself was light and fluffy, yet sturdy enough to hold up the frosting. The owner was super helpful in guiding my selections and genuinely lit up when I asked about the bakery's background and theme. They host themed events too--like an upcoming Star Wars Day breakfast with a buffet, character meet-and-greets, goodie bags, and more. I don't live in the area anymore, so coming back would be a special treat--but I definitely plan to. Getting out of the parking lot was a bit tricky due to the busy nearby intersection, but it wasn't too hard to navigate. A small inconvenience considering everything this place has to offer. Bottom line: this bakery is a delightful, nerdy, sugar-filled gem. A perfect place to treat yourself!

The first time I came, it was a rainy weekday and this time it was a sunny weekend, so I was expecting an even larger crowd; and my prediction was correct. The line was just out the door but because of their awesome staff, the line was moving very quickly. While we waited in line, we could watch them making pastries through the glass, a couple feet in front of us. I admired that level of transparency. When we were third in line, the kindest lady asked us whether we'd be eating in or taking out and she took down our name to help us find a table when it came time. She did the same for the rest of the people in line. She also gave us some recommendations, including the cinnamon bun - apparently they're so good kids cry when they sell out. I didn't intend to order anything with my drink, but I couldn't get the cinnamon bun out of my head so I ordered it along with my iced spiced chai latte. The hen (I think it's their logo) on the aprons of the employees are super cute. We did secure a table. The tables are close together to maximize the number of people who can sit down but I didn't mind. I love their art all around, mostly of birds which I am obsessed with. I love that they have a lot of natural lighting coming through their tall windows. I also like the navy blue and white theme they have going on. The chai latte was perfect. It was the right color (a dark tan), meaning the ratio of tea and milk was good and I could taste a lot of the spices. The cinnamon bun blew my expectations away. The second my teeth made. contact with the icing, it was a magical feeling. I couldn't quite put my finger on what it tasted like, but the closest I got was dulce de leche. It is truly unlike any other cinnamon bun I have ever had. The dough is soft and there is a good amount of cinnamon. It's also $4 which is not bad. I had a bite of their canelé, which apparently requires a lot of work to make. It was very moist, with a great caramelized finish. I am super excited to try their new weekend dinner menu, but also more of their all day menu items.
