The menu changes weekly, but it often has a formula of classic/classic/creative/alcohol-infused flavors. So with typically four cupcake flavors a week, she'll do something along the lines of: vanilla, chocolate, cookie dough explosion, and tequila sunrise. And yes, those are all flavors from the Sarcastic Sweets arsenal. Seasonal flavors are played with quite well here - like an appropriate lemonade for the summer or a festive pumpkin pie or hard-cider in the warmer months. Cookies and brownies are on the menu as well! You'll find the truck out and about just about everywhere. Food truck events (Food truck Fridays is where I originally found her), random establishments (Foolproof brewery, libraries, CVS, etc.) local events (EP heritage fest, marathons, what have you). She'll also deliver to you on top of taking custom orders. You never know where the truck will be, but I know I'll go out of my way if I have to, to find it. I love following along, as she's great with updating her weekly menu + locations on Facebook, and trying the things she comes up with. I just had a salted carameltini cupcake (just can't get away from those spiked cupcakes...) that was seriously everything! My boyfriend, who normally has zero taste for sweets, can't ever help himself from stealing a bite...or four. Personally, I'll be chasing down the Sarcastic Sweets truck forever (and doing my best not to order more than one at a time, gah!), but you'll totally earn an A+ in self-love for at least trying it out. I also asked for half and half or cream and the girl seemed very confused so I went with milk. I asked for caramel. The coffee did not taste like caramel at all even though I saw her put it in. After we got our coffees she asked if we wanted sugar. They had a very small bakery case of baked goods. They were labeled vegan and gluten free, but I'm a little unsure if they are. As a friend of someone who had a gluten allergy and one with a dairy allergy, I take it very seriously when stickers saying stuff like that are on anything. Even if I wanted to try something, they could only do cash only. I hope their truck is as good as I've heard since they've been around for 15 years. But both of my experiences here have been less than ideal.

I opted for the regular breakfast with bacon, two eggs, homefries and an english muffin (no extra charge). It was good. The eggs (over medium) were a little runny, but it was all good enough. The homefries were some of the best I've probably ever had. Round, salty, garlicky, crispy.. wow, wow, wow. Boyfriend got the french toast. We all agreed it was just ok. Big portion though. For three people, plus drinks and coffee it came to $15. You really can't beat that, so for the price it's definitely a good stop. Note: They're only open until 2pm (8pm on Fridays) and they also have a lunch menu. They also have some awesome sounding specials (like Pumpkin Pancakes) that I wish I'd opted into!

What matters are the pretzels, and on that front they deliver. Don't let the words "soft pretzel" conjure up images of a soggy mall kiosk situation, because that's not what's happening here. These are large, beautifully baked pretzels with a rich, pillowy interior and a deep golden crust that has more in common with a brioche than anything you'd find at an Auntie Anne's. We grabbed the classic salted and the sour cream and onion. The classic with yellow mustard for dipping is simple, satisfying, and delicious. The sour cream and onion had a generous coating of seasoning that hits you immediately and keeps delivering all the way through. Then there's the chocolate dipped pretzel rod situation. The display case is genuinely dangerous to stand in front of. There lots of varieties, covering everything from S'mores to Cranberry Pistachio to Heath Bar Caramel. We picked up the lemon and the GG's D'Lite. The lemon is bright and snappy; a perfect balance of sweet and tart that I keep coming back to. As for the D'Lite, I was told it tastes like a Samoa. If that holds up, I may have a new favorite on my hands. They also carry products from a handful of other local businesses, which is a nice bonus if you're looking to pick up a little something extra. Go in, grab a soft pretzel, they are warmed up while you wait, and I dare you to try and leave without a few rods from the case. Lol Pro tip: this is a tricky spot on a busy road and at first glance, looks like parking is even trickier, but there is a decent sized parking lot in the back that you can pull into from the front left of GG's or from the side street, Homestead Ave., and GG's has both a front and rear entrance so don't let this intimidate you.
