Typically my grandparents or mother make the trek to Fall River to pick up their fresh made bread, spinach and meat pies, but today I volunteered to make the drive there myself. While the building is large, the 'shop area' is small, consisting of an L shaped counter, a few shelves with some pantry staples, and two refrigerated cases with beverages, yogurt, and cheeses. There was a steady stream of foot traffic while I was there, people mostly popping in to get a few pies for lunch or stocking up on bread. The line moved quickly and efficiently and we were in and out in no time at all. Their pricing is reasonable and the quality of the food is excellent. We spent just about $100 today, but came home with dozens of spinach and meat pies to share and enough bread to stock our freezer for a few weeks. Definitely worth the drive. Pro tip: order one day ahead for 'party size' spinach and meat pies - a smaller version of their traditional pies - which are perfect for any party or family get together.

We honestly wouldn't have never passed by this place otherwise. There was a small line on this early Saturday afternoon as they are spacing out customers due to Covid-19. We waited our turn and were inside shortly. I immediately felt overwhelmed by the selections! Great variety of desserts and breads!!!! We selected a variety of desserts and ordered some of the chourico breads because we saw they had been highly recommended on Yelp. I'm so thankful I took a picture of the breads behind the counter because I had no idea there were so many flavors to pick from (definitely going back for more flavors to try!!). Everything we bought was delicious, but the thing that will definitely be bringing us back is the chourico rolls!! The rolls were FILLED with chourico and the bread they were in was amazing! Finding a bakery that makes dietary restrictions feel exciting instead of limiting is such a gift.
