My Husband and I cannot recommend Flaky Crust Pies enough! We have had the opportunity to not only enjoy their dessert pies AND their savory pies...but we loved them so much we had them as favors at our wedding on 3.14 (pi day)! All of our guests loved them! The food is incredible, and so is the service. Everyone we had the pleasure of working with was so kind and helped make our day so special. We cannot wait to visit again soon! Thank you Flaky Crust Pies! read more

I'm here to update my review. The Thanksgiving pie that I purchased must have been a fluke. I went back to the shop and talked to the owner, Ashley. She didn't really know what happened, perhaps the pie was in the oven too long. Anyway, she was kind enough to let me select some items from the case in order to make it up to me. Thank you Ashley. read more

Just moved to the area and drove by and decided to stop it. The woman behind the counter was very welcoming and gave us a quick run down of the products. We ended up purchasing a small coconut chocolate pie and a large shepherds pie and i must say both were excellent. I have been a huge shepherds pie lover since i was a kid and this was for sure one of the top 3 i have ever had. Will definitely be back read more

The chocolate cream pie was gone before we got back from walking the dog!! Oh well, the blueberry crumble pie was just as delicious

Their Chicken Pot Pie was fantastic with an unreal, buttery crust. $9 for a small. I gotta try a dessert pie next. I saw them featured on Phantom Gourmet and knew I had to get something here. Everything here is expensive though, but it's all made from scratch - high quality stuff. read more

My cousin buys a Flaky Crust Pie for our weekly family get togethers. We have had many different pies and the thing that stands out is the bottom crust never gets soggy! We truly enjoy the flaky crust pies, most recently the chocolate cream pie. The taste is great and the crust is always flaky! read more

You have to stop by and try their pies. Best apple pie around. Nicest people to work with.

First of all, it's important to note that have only gone in at the end of a weekday. I would imagine that this reflects in the availability of variety. I have seen some different desserts on occasion, but there are always meat pies in the freezer and apple pies behind the counter. I have purchased Apple pies on several occasions and have never been disappointed. When I brought one to an event, someone asked me where it came from because it was the best apple pie they had ever had. It seems like preordering is the way to go if you want more variety. This is how I was able to land myself a sugar cookie that was soft and delicious. read more

I have tried three or four different pies from here are they were all excellent. Really does have nice perfect flaky crust. I could eat an entire pie in a sitting if everyone else wasn't trying to get a slice. I've never tried the meat pies, but my coworker said they are tasty. read more

I bought a pear ginger pie for $27 took three bites and threw the rest away. The pie is misnamed. There was very little pear or ginger to be found. It should be called crust and crumble. So much crust ! So much sugar that no other flavors have a chance. Any grocery store bakery does a better job. read more

Best chocolate cream pie ever and awesome flaky crust, just like the name says! I got a blueberry pie off season (winter) and that seemed canned. Apple was delish!! read more

Excellent pies. Yelp has great reviews so we stopped by to get some. Large chicken pie - moist, big chunks of chicken and a nice crust. Two dessert pies - lemon chess and mixed berries. Both were good. Really a nice crust on them and the berries were not canned. Definitely will visit again and try some others plus the chicken pie again! read more

Our favorite place for sweet and savory pies. Great service and value. Take out only.

My friend was visiting from Florida and we like to explore and find new places. So, we took a drive out to Norton and got a blueberry crumb pie. I was a little stunned that the pie was $26 and all the way home, we grumbled about it. However, after getting home and tasting it, we decided it was the best blueberry pie we ever tasted. It had just the right amount of sweetness and we liked the tiny blueberries. The crust was delicious too. I just finished the last piece and knew I had to write a review on it. I highly recommend the blueberry crumb pie. read more

I ordered out from here the other night, I got a large chicken pie and a single serve French meat pie. Chicken pie is PACKED with yummy chicken and veggies, my parents raved about the crust and how flavorful the gravy in the pie was. The French meat pie, much of the same, packed with tons a meat and flavor. As for desert, all I was lucky enough to try was the caramel apple crumble and dear Christ, it was delicious. Crunchy, buttery, flavorful. My parents each raved over the raspberry cheesecake, saying it was the best cheesecake they ever had. I haven't gotten any feedback about the slice of apple I brought home for my dad, but I imagine it was delicious just like everything else. The lady working when I picked up, I regret not getting her name, was so sweet and personable, she made you feel like you've been coming in for years. It's been 3 days and I've recommended this place to all of my coworkers and my mother has done the same, needless to say we'll be back. read more

I tried something new today, the salted caramel cheesecake. It is wonderful. The cheesecake is light and flavorful, topped with a wonderful salted caramel sauce. The sauce brings out the sweetness of the filling and the crispy graham cracker crust adds a nice texture. Please give it a try. This is a great addition to their line of savory and sweet pies! read more

After seeing their presentation on 'Phantom Gourmet', I drove up from Providence to give them a try. Mom always said when a restaurant is "full, the food is good." In this case, the line was out the door, and it required a bit of a wait, which was more than good. I got the complete 'French Meat Pie' and brought it home to bake. It came out perfectly and it tasted a whole lot better than expected. It was delicious and the 'Strawberry Rhubarb' pie, small version, we got for dessert was just as good. Now I am curious to go back again and try other pies...yum!! read more

The chicken pot pie is the best we have ever had. Buying it frozen and popping it in the oven makes for an easy dinner. It's filled with chicken, gravy and veggies along with a flaky buttery crust. It is well seasoned and the dill adds a great taste. Also Purchased the pecan pie, which was a great finish to the dinner. This also was amazing. Pecans have been toasted and are crunchy. The filling is not overly sweet, which is an issue in a lot of pecan pies. The crust remained crispy and buttery. The price is right for what you get. The quality is above and beyond your grocery store finds and ingredients are high quality. read more

I've been wanting to try this place since i saw it on a food show recently and decided to swing by. Located on the roadside parking out front was available but its bit tight, no worries. Small in size but plenty of selection especially in the dessert or sweet pies, however i went for the chicken pot pie and when i got there at 11.40am there were only 2 warm ones left, which i took as a good sign, Staff was friendly, the pies themselves were almost $24 for the pair (i think) so i was hoping to be wowed, so, i ran home with my chicken pies, when i dug in there was plenty of chicken and veggies in there, but i found the whole thing to be over seasoned. I could barely tell it was chicken. shame. The pastry itself was delicious, and i kind of wished they offered other meat pies (they do offer a couple of others but i'm not a fan of the "French" meat pie or cottage or shepherds pie which, is a pie already and really shouldn't be in a crust!) I really wished they'd do a steak and ale, or steak and mushroom, or chicken and leek but maybe there's no market for those types. I've been missing good meat pies since KO Pies left Southie a few years ago, Sam Jackson that ran that joint made the best meat pies i've had in the USA and there was always a line out the door! read more

We just got the coconut macaroons OMG best ever. Fresh, soft and the chocolate bottom is wicked! You gotta get some!!

Some of the best pie you will ever have! They have such a variety from desert pies, savory pies and they also do pie slices! So many flavors to choose from. They also sell them frozen! Don't sleep on the cookies though they are unbelievable! They also have gluten free options for cookies as well. The whoopie pies are to die for! The owner is awesome always so friendly and welcoming when you come in! It's a small place so make sure you drive slow down 123 or you'll miss it. Overall amazing place and I'd recommend anyone to go! read more

We finally visited Flaky Crust Pie again after a long wait through the Covid experience, we just couldn't wait any longer! Once again the Shepherds Pies are SO delicious!! This visit we ordered the Caramel Apple Pie (unbelievably good!!) and I am glad we did. Thanks for the great pies and online ordering process makes the whole experience ideal. We joined the loyalty program while in the store and the employee was super friendly and knowledgeable, I'm sorry I didn't ask for her name. My boyfriend bought a dirty worm pie on his way out the door and it was gone by the time we got back home. Thank you again and see you soon!! : ) read more

Flaky Crust is a local Mom and Pop pie bakery. It features multiple flavors of savory and sweet pies. They also have various savory and sweet hand pies ( think empanada), whoopie pies, and cookies. There sweet menu changes at the beginning of every month . You can make pre- orders by calling ahead or online . You can pick up hot savory pies with an hours notice. You can pre order anything they make. Their pies come in 2 sizes, the standard 9 inch large and a more personal 5 inch size. If you want something specific it's best to order ahead and reserve it. They do have a cute walk in bakery where you can browse and pick out your favorites. Their pies are great alternatives to a birthday cake, and many people buy them as gifts for people who don't have time to cook a meal, ie, new moms, sick, or someone in need. The staff is super nice also. Everything is homemade with fresh ingredients daily. Their savory pies are frozen immediately at the peak of freshness. read more

Can't express enough how great this place is!! The owner is so nice and friendly and knows how to run a business! The updates on facebook and instagram surrounding Thanksgiving orders were amazing. My husband went in to pick up our pre-ordered pies the wednesday before Thanksgiving and he said it was the most organized system he has ever seen. Now the PIES! I'm not even a pie person yet EVERYTHING i have had from this store is incredible. The frozen pies are a life saver for our busy family..love the shepard's pie and chorizo and rice! All the dessert pies (especially s'mores!) have been amazing. My favorite are the mexican hand pies they have for lunch! Soo good! And cookies are the best I've ever had! A great family friend bought us the blueberry. No joke, best pie I've ever consumed. Get the blueberry. Your world will change.

Wow wow wow wow! This place has been on my list for a while and I finally was able to come to today. You can order online 24 hours in advance, but if you want to order the same day you have to call when they open. They always make extra pies but they can't guarantee any if you don't order. You can choose for the savory pies hot or frozen. They had a freezer pretty well stocked when I went but some of the fruit pies were selling out. The pies come in two sizes small and large. They do run different posts on a monthly basis. In addition to the small and large pies they also have handheld pies, Whoopie pies, and cookies. This is a counter only place there is no seating inside. On this visit we got six different small pies and one large Thanksgiving pie. Every single one was just as good as the next. I will make sure to keep this place in mind for future holidays, parties, or when I just feel like having some pie. read more

Love the chicken pot pies! A tasty, savory pot pie that can be taken from the freezer and bakes in 45 minutes. I buy the small pie, which is perfect for one meal for a single person. All the pies I have tried so far have been delicious. read more

So glad that the Yelp reviews drove me to Flaky Crust Pies. I had the chicken pot pie served hot. I expected a great crust from the business name and was not disappointed. However, the filling was so tasty, cooked just right. This made the combination spectacular. You know when you're craving that savory taste but don't want a heavy flavor - just a wonderful balance of spices that enhance, not overpower, the ingredients? That is what I got from their pie. I let my husband have a taste - now he wants to return for a dinner pie. Ya gotta go! read more

It is worth the trip. Consistently good food and coffee. I will continue buying from them. Food is made on premises.

The Oreo coconut cream pie was amazing. I Facebook messaged them and heard back very quickly and I was able to order a pie for Mother's Day less than 24 hours in advance. The woman who I spoke to on the phone was very friendly as well as the women working inside when I went to pick up the pie. It looked very clean inside and there were some tables that you could sit and eat if you wanted to have a slice there. Definitely recommend checking this place out. Their chicken pies are dual crusted and perfectly seasoned. The lemon chess is pretty much a lemon bar in pie crust - it's perfectly moist. Also love the apple pies. They have only been open for a few weeks and trying to keep up with demand since everything is made by hand. Ordered a pie, prepaid 28.00. Email confirmation. Nothing stated on the order, the email they sent About closing 3 hours early. This makes no sense on the busiest eating day of the year most places would be open selling pies to customers on the #1 pie day in america. When inquired about the situation they responded with an oh well we donates the pie. I will make sure that this lack of customer service is made known to all and how lite they value their customers! read more
