I received a lengthy voicemail from Jay at Audi Grapevine w/ a very rude tone accusing me of never returning phone calls and that he doesn't take me seriously. I receive tons of emails and voicemails from dealers and try to respond as I am able. If he'd check his records, he'd see that I was working with another salesperson in December. I don't typically take time to write reviews...but I was astonished by the long rude voicemail I received accusing me of things that he wasn't even accurate about. The service was excellent! Berron Steven and Jake in financing were great! They went over and beyond assisting with the purchase of my two vehicles. The entire staff at Audi grapevine were friendly and helpful. The facility was spotless including the restrooms which I'ma stickler about. My two sales reps Steven and Berron were patient and very helpful and kind. The only downside to my experience at Audi was that my cars were were not as clean as expected, especially with COVID. The exterior was clean but the interior was not. I even came back and asked for it to be detailed properly like a new car should be when being delivered to a new owner. They again cleaned the outside but there was still mud inside, dip/snuff juice/spit inside the door, the interior such as dash, gear shift, etc had not been cleaned. Dealership is always clean. Service team members are polite and friendly! The reason for my low rating is due to an issue I recently experienced. At around 45k-48k while in warranty I reported smelling an antifreeze smell during the summer. I advised the dealership and they did a pressure check and found no issue. They also advised me that cars sometimes smell like in the heat. Fast forward a bit to now, out of warranty. My car had continued to smell like antifreeze off and on for several months. I started checking the coolant level and noticed it was getting lower. I ended up taking my Audi in because the reservoir hit the minimum lvl. Audi took the car back and found a leak in the water pump housing. The service manager acknowledged that I had reported a smell a couple of times. He did not know why they did not find the problem previously and that he was going to contact Audi to see what could be done. Later that day I was advised the price to repair the leak was 1500.00 dollars. The service manager said since I had mentioned the problem before, but I was out of warranty, they would do the work and it would only cost me 650.00. I agreed and paid it of course but, still feel that it was an issue mentioned a couple of times while under warranty and should have been covered completely. ---------- Audi Grapevine re-evaluate my situation and made it right. The service at this dealership have gone downhill in the last few years. I took my car to this dealership to get it checked as the battery kept dying so I had to keep jump starting the car. They could not find any issues so they would have me pick up the car and kept telling me that they could not find anything wrong with the car, however the car after being parked overnight would not start in the morning so I would call them again and did this four times. After the fourth time the manager told me my car was old anyways and it was time to get a newer car as this car was going to keep causing issues (an Audi TT). I felt insulted and I told him I am not ready to buy a new car, hence why I was trying to get it fixed, after a long conversation he said if I paid for a 4-hour manual check front to back they could probably find the issue but there was no guarantee. The cost was going to be approximately $800.00 This was after they had made me drop off the car 4 times but they could not find anything wrong... I refused and told him I will pick up my car and take it somewhere else and so I did. I took my car to a small shop by my house and they found the issue within an hour and the cost was $150. I will never go back to this dealership and I will never buy an Audi again. read more

HORRIBLE SERVICE DEPARTMENT. Terrible communication. They seemed surprised that the car, which had been scheduled for service / recall for a month needed parts to complete the recall. This was communicated to me 8 hours after I had dropped off the car. They could care less about their horrible service. Called for appointment on 10-10-19 and requested the 20K miles service and a loaner. No loaners available until 10-17-19. I decided to schedule the and wait for the car the next day 10-11-19. Rene Laurel is assigned as our contact. Rene was friendly and easy to talk to. Rene went though a list of what Audi recommends for the 20K. I asked Rene if we would be finished before noon and he assured me this would not be a problem. I checked in at 8AM. About 9:30 Rene walked over and told me during diagnostics an error code regarding the All Wheel Drive was being looked into. Truly appreciated the heads up. Rene came back and updated me 10:30 and said they were able to address the error code and the car was being washed. This was our second experience at this Audi location; after we excluded them when purchased the Q5 new. If they can maintain this quality of service we will recommend. Time will tell. ON MY WAY TO MY SONS GRADUATION mind you.. paid left... Called that day to inform them NO it didn't have the back up camera.. ( helpful for a first time driver) Never responded.. called several times SHAWN.. IGNORED ME... called the manager.. MO and he flat out lied.. called corporate AGAIN... I stopped at Audi in Grapevine to look for a new or used Audi Q5. My intention was to purchase a vehicle last weekend. What transpired was probably the absolute worst customer service and car buying experience in my entire life of 65 years. Not only was I lied to, but the entire process of 4 to 5 hours of being dragged through entry-level paperwork, and a painful credit process which resulted in a payment $100 per month higher than what I was first quoted. The dealership wanted my commitment to purchase the vehicle, however it seems like they wanted to hold me captive all day. Near the end of the process I was totally frustrated, hungry as hadn't eaten all day, and when I asked for my keys to be returned to me for my car, they refused to give me my keys at first. Finally after asking again for my keys to be returned to me, they were returned and I left the dealership. The sales person continue to hound me on the telephone calling me repeatedly days on end, and when I finally hung up on him, he called back and left a voicemail that I was unprofessional for hanging up on him when indeed he kept harassing me on the telephone. I'm keeping the voicemail so that the general manager of Grapevine Audi can hear it. I would never ever buy a car from this dealership or ever recommend them. read more

I first want to say that I am no stranger to Volkswagen family as I have purchased 4 Volkswagen and I am currently on my 2nd Audi. I purchased a new A4 in July '20 from Audi Grapevine. In November '21 my Bluetooth became inoperable and was repaired. The Bluetooth again became inoperable in August '22. I brought the car to the dealer to fix and was told that the parts are on order and will likely take a few week because they are coming from Germany. Well, I inquired about every month and always the same answer, parts aren't in yet and there is nothing we can do. Today, 1/30/2023. I inquired about the Bluetooth issue and I talked with Rene Lauren, the Service manager. I tried to explain how frustrated I was, that Bluetooth is extremely important to me and that I needed it to work. I asked if I could have a loaner until the problem is fixed and Mr. Lauren told me that Audi Grapevine is not responsible because "my car is operable, I can still drive it, but that may be inconvenienced" I told him that was unacceptable and he told me if I am unhappy to go talk to Audi USA because Audi Grapevine is not responsible. I looked at Mr. Lauren's LinkedIn profile and it states: "I enjoy my job and the people I work with. My primary goal is ensuring my clients receive the Ultimate Experience when visiting the center. Maintaining a one-on-one relationship and making a new friend is what I strive to do each day I go to work." I'm sure this this looks great on a LinkedIn profile, but I did not receive the ultimate experience today from Mr. Lauren, far from it. He is argumentative and according to him, I just have to suck it up. I wish there was some recourse for me. read more

I started negotiating the price of a brand new Audi Q7 with Audi Grapevine on Dec 10,2022. The sales rep that I was dealing with at that time was Alex Johnson. He mentioned to me that they had 3 Glacier White Audi Q7s on the lot all under 40 miles. Alex then passed over the negotiation of the price to his manager Ricky Norris who I started texting with on Monday, Dec 12. I had a question for him about the price Monday then didn't hear back from him until Wed, Dec 14th. Ricky and I finalized on the final out the door pricing of the car around 1.30 pm that afternoon. Ricky also mentioned in his text that he will look through all the 3 brand new cars that he has and give me the car with the lowest mileage on it. After finalizing the offer, I received a call from Alex Johnson around 4 pm telling me that all two cars have been sold (1 sold around the time Ricky and I were negotiating and the other one was sold around 3 pm) and the only one left has 1209 miles on it which is a demo car. This is entirely different than the original offer that I discussed with Ricky. Alex then called me back and told me that Ricky agreed to renegotiate a new deal on this car. So we agreed to head to the dealership and look at the car. We negotiated with Alex on the new price for this car and drove home. Prior to us purchasing the car, Alex told us to bring the car back if we notice any scratches or defects with the car when we go home.s The next day, my mom took a drive of my car and loved it so she started looking for the same car to buy. To her surprise, she was able to find 2 available Q7s for sale at Audi Grapevine. She even confirmed the availability of both cars with 2 different sales rep at Audi Grapevine. So on Friday, we went over to the dealership to try to get to the bottom of this and also to let them know about the defects on our car that we found. To our surprise, our salesperson Alex no longer works there. We were able to get a hold of Ricky who denied the availability of the 2 cars in stock. To us this appears to be a bait and switch by the salesperson and Ricky. Ricky told us when we got there that the 2 cars were sold a long time ago prior to us even negotiating. His words were completely different than what Alex has told us. Ricky was very adamant and denied the whole situation. Instead he said he was going to help us make our situation better by fixing all the defects on the car. He diverted the situation to this guy name Fabian García who PROMISED he will take great care of us. Fabian was responsive for the first 2 days and went completely unresponsive/MIA when I was about to bring my car into the dealership. The promises he had which was to make sure he supervises every step of the detail and polish process did not occur. On the day of pick up, Fabian and Ricky were no where to be found at the dealership. They have handed over my keys to this lady who was VERY RUDE and unprofessional. We picked up the car to find swirling scratches still all over the car. This is the second time that I have purchased an Audi from Audi Grapevine and it would be the last time I purchase a car from this dealership. This dealership only wants money but does not care about the service to their customers at all. Please do not buy your car from this unethical dealership! I was looking for my son a car online and found one that this particular dealership had one in our price range. The representative from the call center was very sweet and set us with an appointment right away. I was very skeptical of going due to the Pandemic but so glad we did. At arrival, I met Jake Kaufman, a finance manager that was helping with sales. The car that was online was no longer available but he was able to find another vehicle. The car was preowned but the mileage was 59,448 which is awesome for a 2009 Volkswagen Sedan. I did have a longer than expected wait but with everything going on....everyone deserves some grace and patience. Jake was very understanding and did not over sale me or make me feel pressured in purchasing a car. He also did not make me feel as if he didn't care. I have experienced both of these feelings in the past when looking to purchase a vehicle. He has definitely gained my business from here on out. read more

I bought a new car from them about 5 months ago. A few months after I took delivery I realized that I still did not have my permanent plates. I contact them and they tell me that they have had them at the dealership for a while, and that they tried to contact me. I went back through my call log and voicemail and didn't see anything from them. Even if somehow my phone didn't register it, my temporary plates had expired already. A few car purchases ago I hadn't picked up the plates and I was about a week away from temporary tag expiration and they called me every day for a few days until I was able to pick up to let me know that they would be mailing them if I didn't respond. Audi Grapevine apparently does not have this kind of prudent protocol in place. It doesn't end there. I also realized at some point after finally getting the permanent plates mailed to me that my registration sticker was not included. So now I'm going through the process of mailing in a form with a replacement fee because this dealership seems to have issues with post-sale process. Very annoyed! read more

TLDR: *Bought car from them that was in a major prior accident and repaired improperly *Vehicle had major defect with safety system (brakes) and they sold it to me anyways *Dealer tried to upsale some faux LowJack system, lying that it was government required *Dealer screwed me on my credit (adding another hard inquiry to it for no reason) and jacking up my approval rate so they could profit off selling the loan to my credit union, even though I already had pre-approval from my credit union. *Falsely claimed that someone would contact me. No one ever did, cause look at what they did overall...you think they care about customers? More like high-fiving each other "we got this sucker big time!" If these guys were in my home state, their ass would be grass with the State Consumer Affairs and Attorney General bureaus. Bought a used car recently from them. Went on a test drive, seemed fine. Made me fill out their own stupid credit application, which hit my credit history with another hard inquiry. I already came with my pre-approval IN-HAND from my credit union in-hand, and the associate assured me that it wouldn't affect my credit score and that of course they work with my credi union directly. Lie #1. I then waited for Finance to get the sales paperwork going. They made me wait for 45 MINUTES from the time they sat me down on the Finance side of the lobby. Do you know why? Because they want to frustrate you to the point where you will SPEED SIGN every document they throw in front of you. Finance manager tried to sneak in some $350 hunk of junk LowJack knockoff with a subscription cost. Finance kept trying to convince me that it was part of the deal. I said nope, I was told that I was only paying GOVERNMENT regulatory fees, nothing more. He pulls out the pre-sale sheet I signed off on with the salesperson, where I did indeed initial the charge. Being new to the State, I am not familiar with all the charges and fees that a dealership is legally allowed to charge, so I asked my salesperson if all the fees listed were required/regulatory by government...he responded yes. So now Finance guy is giving me a hard time because he said he can't take it off, that it's mandatory. Lie #2 So I clarified again, IS IT A GOVERNMENT regulatory fee? When I say fuck it and start to get up to leave, Finance guy has an "inspiration" to call in the used car sales manager, who then showed up and only proceeded to explain the benefits of having it. I asked again, is it required? No?, then take it off. Sales manager then blames the associate for not explaining things better. Lie #3 Finance guy gets livid, then goes to screw me on the finance rate. I had pre-approval, yet the way they wrote the finance contract was to do it via indirect loan so they could hike up the rate on me and make a few more bucks off the credit union for sourcing the sale. So all that bullshit beforehand of "working with my credit union" was horseshit. I was then informed that the vehicle needed some more work to repair the brakes and replace the tires, so it would be ready by the following week. Come the following week, I went to pick-up the vehicle and as I drove away, all the dash lights came on. I called the salesperson back, he said their service dept was closed already and to come back the following day. I was scared because the car wasn't braking normally. Took it to a dealership for the manufacturer and was told that it would cost $4000 dollars to fix as it was a major systems defect. And this fucked up dealership knowingly sold me a vehicle with bad brakes. How do I know? Because they put on new brake pads and rotors trying to fix the problem (which has nothing to do with the code), and cleared the code and sent me on my way. This Audi dealership told me to bring it by so they could "take a look". Lie #4 Luckily on the brakes, I pled with the manufacturer to fix it, to which my amazement they did. Final insult to injury? The vehicle was in an accident in the rear end, despite the CarFax being clear of accidents. However, for a LUXURY high-end dealer, you'd think they would notice details about body parts not lining up, or even running a mill gauge to find out if the car was painted recently. Nope, I had to take it to a body shop and found out that the rear trunk hatch was not aligned from a hard hit in the back. So long as the CarFax is clear, they can claim the car is accident-free. Lie #5 Real luxury dealers use their powers of observation and experience to look over a vehicle for prior accidents. I know because I came from Southern California, and have visited luxury and exotic cars dealers in-person, know the caliber of where salesmen and managers don't have to resort to being sleazeballs because high-end clientele are walking through the door daily. read more

The guy literally asked me "Where is this leading to u coming in?". He refused to answer my questions about dealer fees and kept demanding me to come in. Many folks don't have time for dealers who can't reveal their out the door price, because we all know they have some fees to hide! A few months ago the Audi Grapevine service department dings me $140. to replace two plastic sunshade holders. If you look at U-Tube it is less than a 5-minute job. If I could do less than a star I would. We went to look at a pre owned Toyota Sienna- like okay I get it you're an Audi dealership but a buy is still a buy. Our salesman Luis was awesome but we took the vehicle to a mechanic for a pre purchase inspection and thank god we did. It had several real safety issues; a wheel bearing problem, leaking axle, leaking power steering pump and more. We made an offer minus the cost of repairs. The sales manager basically tried to say he didn't believe the issues exist when I said we saw where the leaks were etc he back pedaled and said he couldn't sell the car to us bc it is a liability now. Um I'm sorry you would have sold it to us before we knew there were issues? But when we did know it's now a liability? He said if he sells it for less than retail it means he paid too much for the vehicle- dude not my problem you're trying to sell an unsafe mini van to families. We had our 2 month old baby with us and I am disgusted they'd even put that car on the lot knowing it had issues and I pretty much believe unless their mechanics are absolutely the worst they did know but didn't care. Luis= awesome none of this is his fault but the rest of the experience and the fact that van was on the lot at all is not okay. read more
