I purchased a brand new EV6 from Moritz Kia in 2023. It has had nothing but charging issues since we received it. This dealership has attempted 8 repairs and still faulty. It hasn't been drivable since November 2024, which was 9 months ago. Kia agreed to repurchase this vehicle in February and has dragged their feet at every step. At one point, customer care told me the process was completed. At this point, Kia owes me over $20k and I will be finding an attorney. I tried to work with Kia in good faith but they don't want to do the same. Avoid Kia/Hyundai EVs, they are broken and the dealers will lie to your face. Look up Kia / Hyundai ICCU recalls and save yourself a lot of time and trouble. AVOID AVOID AVOID!!! read more

I Purchased a New Kia last year from this dealership, The salesman was great however I am not at all happy with the vehicle and it only has 24,000 miles on it, I'm having problems with tires and brakes. I think the tires are defective, it feels like they have flat spots however there's no presence of flat spots when inspecting, when I take it to the dealership service department they rotate the tires and say everything is fine, I asked them to test drive it but they did not. Update: The service manager called me and asked me to bring the vehicle in, they put the vehicle on the alignment rack the results showed that the vehicle alignment was fine proving that the tires are defective, They said that they will not replace them even if I offered to pay for the prorated miles. I'll never buy another Kia. Update: I just recently purchased a used 2021 Kia Saltos for my daughter from a local Ford dealership, purchased the extended warranty, and I've just recently noticed every time you turn there's a knocking noise coming from the front end. My mechanic told me it was a CV joint going out. So I took it to Moritz Kia of alliance., as soon as I checked in at the service department the young man tells me that if they find that the item is not covered under warranty there will be an additional $150 fee. In my opinion, I believe this dealership is just trying to keep from having to cover things under warranty, I cannot recommend this dealership, mainly due to the extremely poor customer service from their service department. read more

First time customer at this location's service center. I originally sent a request through the Kia app which said someone from the service department would call me to schedule, but after about a week I had to call up there and schedule myself. This location is quite close to home which is great when I do work from home. Upon arrival, I was greeted after about a minute or so, told my advisor was still working on a car ahead of me and to sit tight in my car until he comes out which was about another 2-4 minutes wait. Was escorted to the waiting area, which is open space alongside the showroom floor. I didn't notice if there were TV's or not, but they did have free coffee. Oil change took about 45min. No bells and whistles, no vacuuming or car wash. Maybe they will add these benefits later. My Telluride is brand new 2023, so this was the first oil change and although I bought it at the Hurst location, the Alliance location service center is closer and more convenient. Purchased a CPO Stinger from the Hurst location. Also bought the most expensive extended warranty. The car did not have a front license plate mount, which is required by law in Texas (doesn't seem the previous owner ever used a mount as there are no perforations/holes on the front from a previous plate, so, ??? on that). My husband went to Hurst Kia Alliance I guess a week or so ago to get the front license plate mount issue resolved. They indicated they would order the part and be back in touch. He goes on the road this week, and yesterday, I receive a text that Moritz Kia has scheduled an appointment for 9:20 am. I report at 9:26 am. They say no problem... I go in, and thanks to the appointment, there's not much of a wait. The part isn't in. It's scheduled to be there today, but the next parts delivery isn't until 1 pm. Folks, doesn't matter how NICE and courteous you are, it doesn't make up for a process issue that you didn't verify the part was in house before sending me a text to show up for an appointment. A process is broken, and the end result was that in your scheduling efforts, which are a benefit to your employees, you wasted the CUSTOMER's time. Do better! read more

Last time I brought my 2016 Kia Cadenza in for service, the guy there told me that Kia gives lifetime "bubble" repairs on my rear window tinting. I brought it in again yesterday, and sure enough, they fixed what I brought it in for, plus, they repaired my rear window for free. I love the service at Kia Alliance. I bring my wife's car and my car in for every car service. Their oil changes are just as cheap as the stand alone oil change businesses ($40+), plus I get my cars washed and vacuumed, and a quick diagnostic on the basics all for free. When my wife was ready for a new car, I told her to pick out any sedan she wants, but it will be a Kia. I bought my first car here because I only live one mile away. Had my worst, first car buying experience at this place. After signing the paperwork, I walked away thinking I made my first purchase of a blue 2022 Kia Rio hatchback, and learned on the day of pick up that it was the sedan version. Alright, I should've throughly looked at the paperwork more closely, despite being verbally told several times that I was getting a hatchback. I was trading in a hand me down 2014 Kia Rio hatchback for an upgrade. After I decline the sale I was given an offer of either looking at other vehicles on the lot that I had no interest in, just keeping the sedan with a $500 check on top, or wait for a silver Rio that will arrive in a couple of weeks on the condition that I would get my deposit back, and that could put a deposit towards that if I was still interested when it arrived. I chose the last option. All this took place mid-late November. After a couple days, I decided to look elsewhere and ask for the deposit back. I was told by my sales rep that the finance department would return it. This is when the games began. Fast forward to late December and my deposit seems to have vanished. I spent weeks contacting my sales rep to see what was going on and was told repeatedly that he would check in with the finance department and update me, assures me that the process is initiated and I should see it in the next couple of days, but to reach him again if I still did not see anything. Rinse, cycle, and repeat. When I finally spoke with a manager, I learned they had slapped my deposit on the silver Rio from the beginning! Told him I no longer wanted to go through with the sale and cancel it. But wait - the story is not done yet! It is a couple days passed Christmas when I realized I have forgotten about the title for the 2014 Rio I had kept, so I had to contact my sales rep to know when I should pick it up from the dealership then wait for it in the mail. He said he would check with finance and update me... This seems familiar? I asked again about it early January, he text back and, I quote, "ya account lady told me she is following up with the title department where I sent and get back to you as soon as she hear anything". Guess who just got their title after mailing the paperwork themselves two weeks ago?? At this point, I am no longer frustrated and angry with the dealership, just tired and filled with deep-seated disappointment with the abysmal communication that I had to deal with for FOUR months. I refuse to come back for so much as an oil change, and I hope that no else ever have to experience the type of service I received from this place. read more

I am never buying a new car there again. The reason is if you need maintenance, you have to make an appointment and they are always completely booked at least a week or longer. If I need to get my car fixed I need to take it in immediately, not have to wait more than a week and then the time it takes to repair it on top of that. It is way too busy there. You also have to make an appointment for oil changes and they are booked out for a week all the time in that case too. You can walk in for oil changes but you might be there for a LONG time if you dont have an appointment. You shouldnt have to wait a week every single time to have your car looked at. AVOID read more

The staff really worked with me on my budget and even though I ended up paying more than I wanted to, I know I got a great deal for what I wanted. I initially decided to check them out because they had the best reviews of any dealerships in the area. I was skeptical, but once I went in, I felt immediately comfortable. I never felt jerked around or taken advantage of. They definitely exceeded my expectations based on my past experiences with other dealerships. The first time I visited, I didn't feel rushed or pressured. Preet made me feel very comfortable and seemed like she was honest and reasonable. I almost purchased a car that day and the only reason I didn't was because it was over my budget and I really wanted to try to stay under budget if it was at all possible for what I wanted. I shopped around some more over the following couple of days. Visited multiple car dealerships (including other Kia dealerships) that couldn't get anywhere close to the offer they made me. In fact, a salesman at another dealership, unassociated with Moritz, encouraged me to go buy the car from them that I was looking at. I really appreciated that it felt like they went out of their way to make sure I left a happy customer. They gave me the best price for my trade, got me a better APR than I thought I would get and worked with me on the price, all without pressuring me to get me the absolute best price they could. Repairs today cost slightly less than a significant family vacation, but as with car repairs even a single dollar would cheese me off. It's just the most unrewarding use of money imaginable. Adulting. Why can't cars be like the sexy commercials? My warning to our soon-to-drive teen, "cars take away more freedom than they give." All that aside, Jason clearly did his best and he found some ways to shave off some cost, and the actual service guy worked over to get our car back surprisingly quick. I cannot believe I'm even having to write this review. I bought a brand new Kia 4 days ago. It's a 2023 Kia Niro. I love the car. Could not be happier. I take delivery of it 2 days ago. As I'm driving it today, a semi truck I'm not even close to kicks up a rock and cracks my windshield large enough it needs to be replaced. I call around and there are no after market windshields and they can't even find the car in their databases. The dealer's service department calls me and says it'll be $1187 to replace and they have no clue when the windshield will be in. But the real kicker is when I'm sitting down 4 days ago talking in finance about warranties, I get told the windshield and tire warranty they offer is useless because "it's not an Audi or a BMW. A Kia windshield costs you $100-$200. You don't need it". read more

Went in on Thursday afternoon to buy a Forte GT Line. Negotiated a deal but it was getting late. We put 5k down and I told them I'll return Friday morning and finish the sale. Friday I texted my salesman James and asked if they could throw in a spare tire he responded that it would be $265 extra and they couldn't just add it. No big deal I tried. Then the next text read they had other customers wanting to buy the car and they could refund me my 5k. I had no idea what he was talking about. At this point I thought they were about to undercut me and sell it out from me. When I arrived at the dealership they made excuses for the text and everyone was thrown under the bus. I finished the deal only because I didn't want to start the process over at another dealership. I took possession of the car after they said it was ready. Washed and all the make ready details. The car was dirty, still had all the plastic inside and the windows were dirty. Minor details but I just spent a lot of money on a new car and it seems Moritz really didn't care about attention to details or their customers I have bought several Kias in the past and this was the most miserable car buying experience I've ever had. Had an eye on a 2021 Forte and because of the chip shortage I had to reserve it weeks in advance before it got delivered. Nicholas helped me accordingly and got my forte delivered 3 weeks early and kept it reserved for me until my appointment day. During my appointment, he went into great detail of every single unique detail about the car and made sure I knew how to use them accordingly! Worst ever. We dropped off my son's car and come to find out he needs a new main battery. The told me the repairs would be $6000 but have no details and would not tell me. After asking many times of what all work needed to completed never got a straight answer. Called several times and sent several emails. No response till one day another advisor called me and asked me if I wanted to have the repairs completed. I then again asked for the details and was told they would have to look into it. A week went by still no word I called a few time with no luck and then got a text that my sons car was ready for pick up. I called to ask what all took place only to get no call backs. On 12-23 I received a certificate letter that the car was towed and I have to pay $600 to get it out. They did not have permission to tow it and should not have towed the car and still not returning calls and the towing company wants me to pay them for something the service department took upon themselves to do. They are completely unprofessional and do not waist your money on the crooks. Who knows this might be a good story for fox4. How service departments for cars dealership take your money and if you ask for details they find a way to screw you over. read more

I get there and salesman checks computer and says they still have the car but it is at their Alliance location???? Okay.... I follow him to Alliance location (about 15 minutes with traffic) to see car. I waited outside. He comes back outside after about 10 minutes and says "the Camry sold yesterday, he I have a car I can get you in for same money. And holds up keys"...
