Plus the Bosch wipers we like AND the grease gun/grease. We also needed a lift but decided to hold off on it this time since we were already over $100 and the lift was about $280. The only thing we didn't get was the sway bar bushings since they needed to be ordered, but no biggie! We found another alternative for that. Tried to contact Joel/Will to have the drink holder in the middle row replaced, I mean why not, they were going to have the car for another week. Never got a call back. Another week goes by, no communication. Communication is NOT Pat Lobb Service's strong suit, neither is customer service. Called Wednesday to find out when my car was going to be done. I use the tollways for work and when the girl gave me the loaner she said that any tolls would be billed back to my car, not that there was a built in toll tag. Left a message for Joel/Will to please call me so I knew how long to move my toll tag to the loaner; still waiting on that call. Called 10 days after dropping it off and couldn't get a hold of Joel/Will, asked to talk to service manager, David. Said he'd check into what was going on and get back with me; that was Friday morning, not a peep. Did I mention communication is NOT their strong suit? They finally called me Saturday morning at 10:45 to tell me my car was done. Here's a funny story about communication. When I Googled Pat Lobb to call them I dialed the first number that populated, asked to speak to Bill and got VM; no surprise there. As I hung up I thought Freeman Toyota, that's not who I wanted. Guess what? Less than 60 minutes after I left that message, Bill from FREEMAN TOYOTA called me back. He was concerned that they had allowed something to fall through the crack. I apologized, explained my error and we parted ways. I was so impressed with Bill and Freeman Toyota I called to speak with the manager, Dusty. Guess what? Dusty called me back. Pat Lobb - 0 / Freeman - 2. The morale of the story: Pat Lobb will not ever win back my business because they do not understand customer service and communication. His actions are the reason it's 3 stars and not 1. The biggest issue was the wait time. It was supposed to take around 3 hours, it took 5 and a half. Unfortunately they lost my phone number and had to communicate to me through my husband as the middle man while he was at work, so I knew little to nothing when I wasn't physically there. They upsold me on a tire rotation and balancing, and a week later I had to replace 2 tires because we found a huge bulge of them and nobody had exact tires to replace just one with, so after spending nearly $300 on tire care there alone, we had to spend another $300 (and more to come due to the replacements being crap but that has nothing to do with the dealership). I would recommend any business that makes their customer wait almost 2x the estimated wait time for their service to at least offer a discount on the present service, a complimentary future service, or something. I won't be coming back to any toyota dealership if I can help it at this rate. TLDR: The people are friendly, prepare to pay out the nose, wait an insane amount of time, and say no to upsells. Do what you need and get out.

Following several referrals from our community Facebook page, and my own online research, I decided to give Lonestar Elite a chance. I needed a brake job on my 1999 daily driver so I dropped it off. They looked the car over, confirmed my determination that it needed new pads and rotors, as well as recommended other legitimate items that needed attention, like older cars do. They didn't pressure or try to up-sell me but wanted to make me aware, which I appreciate. They did the brake job in a timely manner, for a reasonable cost, explained everything well, and did it all with great customer service. As with my former mechanic, trust and consistency is built over time. From now on my family will bring our vehicles to Lonestar Elite, hoping consistency will lead to trust and another long term relationship.

I tagged along to help with the baby. When we arrived a young lady comes out to ask how can she help? My daughter tells her what she's there for & the young lady ask her for her insurance. My daughter shows her on her phone. The lady writes on the windshield with dry erase marker. My daughter gets very frustrated because the young lady is very short w/her & borderline rude. They were very busy, but there was another young lady at the front desk & she wasn't a mechanic so I can only imagine that this is her job. Considering we had never been here before & had no clue how things work she was not making a good impression. She tells us to wait inside. We go to walk in but that was all she said to us so again never have been there before we had no idea which door to go through or where to go, one of the mechanics kindly showed us the way & opened the door for us. It didn't take long at all considering how busy they were. There lobby is very clean & plenty of places to sit also! The mechanic told my daughter she needed to replace her wipers & a tire or he would have to fail her, for her to get that taken care of then come back. The same young lady checked her out now & the other young lady was outside. My daughter asked me to pull the car out of the garage. I thought that was weird. Usually places like this don't want their customers in the garages in case of a slip & fall. I didn't understand why they wanted us to pull the car out ourselves but ok! Another mechanic asked me if we were told about the car I advised him yes. He walked me to my car & opened the door for me. All the workers were so nice except the 1 young lady that must have just been having an off day. My daughter was frustrated by that & also that it was 65.00 even after the 10.00 off coupon.
