Took my 2018 Toyota in 12 days ago because my lift gate would not open. Joel/Will told me the struts had gone out. Asked me to leave my car and it would be ready in two days. Friday afternoon called as I hadn't heard a word. Will told me they had the wrong struts, had to order them from KY and it would be five days. Tried to contact Joel/Will to have the drink holder in the middle row replaced, I mean why not, they were going to have the car for another week. Never got a call back. Another week goes by, no communication. Communication is NOT Pat Lobb Service's strong suit, neither is customer service. Called Wednesday to find out when my car was going to be done. I use the tollways for work and when the girl gave me the loaner she said that any tolls would be billed back to my car, not that there was a built in toll tag. Left a message for Joel/Will to please call me so I knew how long to move my toll tag to the loaner; still waiting on that call. Called 10 days after dropping it off and couldn't get a hold of Joel/Will, asked to talk to service manager, David. Said he'd check into what was going on and get back with me; that was Friday morning, not a peep. Did I mention communication is NOT their strong suit? They finally called me Saturday morning at 10:45 to tell me my car was done. Here's a funny story about communication. When I Googled Pat Lobb to call them I dialed the first number that populated, asked to speak to Bill and got VM; no surprise there. As I hung up I thought Freeman Toyota, that's not who I wanted. Guess what? Less than 60 minutes after I left that message, Bill from FREEMAN TOYOTA called me back. He was concerned that they had allowed something to fall through the crack. I apologized, explained my error and we parted ways. I was so impressed with Bill and Freeman Toyota I called to speak with the manager, Dusty. Guess what? Dusty called me back. Pat Lobb - 0 / Freeman - 2. The morale of the story: Pat Lobb will not ever win back my business because they do not understand customer service and communication. I will make the long trek to Freeman Toyota because they understand what GREAT customer service means! read more

I had to get a recall done on my vehicle at the dealership and it was honestly kinda a nightmare. Firstly, let me emphasize, my technician/consultant/whatever their title is, Gustavo, was very friendly and helpful, and easy to work with. His actions are the reason it's 3 stars and not 1. The biggest issue was the wait time. It was supposed to take around 3 hours, it took 5 and a half. Unfortunately they lost my phone number and had to communicate to me through my husband as the middle man while he was at work, so I knew little to nothing when I wasn't physically there. They upsold me on a tire rotation and balancing, and a week later I had to replace 2 tires because we found a huge bulge of them and nobody had exact tires to replace just one with, so after spending nearly $300 on tire care there alone, we had to spend another $300 (and more to come due to the replacements being crap but that has nothing to do with the dealership). I would recommend any business that makes their customer wait almost 2x the estimated wait time for their service to at least offer a discount on the present service, a complimentary future service, or something. I won't be coming back to any toyota dealership if I can help it at this rate. TLDR: The people are friendly, prepare to pay out the nose, wait an insane amount of time, and say no to upsells. Do what you need and get out. read more

Empty liquor bottle in new car and fudged mlieage. UNACCEPTABLE EXPERIENCE. This was the WORST car buying experience. It took way too long, was way too expensive, and left me feeling regretful and horrible about the whole situation. After the entire car buying experience, we still had to wait almost an hour - outside by the back of the dealership watching employees leave their shift and just waiting for our car. It was weird. Then, as i was driving in home in my new car, happy with the car, but feeling screwed over, and generally upset over the experience, I realized two things: 1. The mileage on the car is 500 miles more than stated when i bought it 2. THERE WAS AN EMPTY LIQUOR BOTTLE -- RATTLING AROUND IN MY NEW CAR TLDR: The experience was awful, the mileage was fudged and i don't recommend this dealership. I found a liquor bottle in my new car. An unacceptable experience overall. Something positive: the finance person was really great to work with. read more

I really wish i could give it a zero. They sold a third party warranty and claimed it to be a TFS warranty which it is not . Claims were that it is the exact same thing that there is no difference at all which again is a big FAT LIE! GS Administrations INC is part of the gulf states financial services which is not Toyota national warranty. There are more limitations to this warranty and the dealer makes a huge profit off of this product and claims it is the same . Please do not go to this dealer they will lie to make profit especially the financing department. Take a look at the Better Business Bureau site or just google them and so much stuff comes up. I repeat do not go there !!!! read more

It was the quickest and most friction free car buying experience that I've ever had. I will say that I was lucky. My car normally has to be ordered, and you have to wait weeks or months to get your car in. Someone had ordered the car and decided when it was already arrived that they couldn't make the payments... so I drove away with a car that had come in that same day and it only had 10 miles on it. It was also the most thorough feature walkthrough ever. There was no, "oh just read the manual when you get home and you'll figure it out...". No, they actually hooked up all the tech and waited until it was all set up correctly before sending me on my way. They had it together. I would recommend them to family. read more

They are weirdly misogynist here. Say you're a woman, and you buy a vehicle. Just you, your name, your income. THEY WILL LIST IT UNDER YOUR HUSBAND'S NAME. He just happened to come with me when I made the purchase. You correct them as they will call you and ask for him for routine service. They'll acknowledge that its a pervasive "issue" affecting others, but won't fix it. Going on year 3 now. Also, yesterday, there was ice and snow during a prescheduled service appointment. I called before heading out. They affirm they're open. I get there and turns out their technician didn't show up to work. Maybe tell customers before they head out? Damn. read more

Their service department was awesome. Fast, professional and reasonable. Ron was my advisor. His communication was unprecedented.

Almost 15min to have someone check me in, better than the 25min last oil change. But absolutely nothing EXPRESS about their oil change service. Mind you I had an appointment scheduled but the wait for a LOF/tire rotation shouldn't be over 2hrs and counting. Do better, Freeman! Hire more or schedule less appointments!! read more

I had a great experience at this dealership! My advisor, Kat White, was absolutely wonderful and very communicative throughout the entire process. It was my first time "adulting" on my own, and she made everything easy to understand and stress-free by walking me through each step. The dealership itself is also really nice -- the waiting area is comfortable, with a coffee station and popcorn, which was a great touch. I would definitely come back again and recommend this place to others. read more

Just bought my used 2021 RAV4 XLE from Angel Murillo. I did my research and knew what vehicle I wanted, features and color/mileage I wanted. Freeman Toyota had about 10 options that fit my need to have and a couple with nice to haves too. The car buying process was easy, no hidden fees or add ons. I got the car I wanted and didn't have to drive all over the metroplex to do it. Def will recommend! read more

I recently decided to purchase a new vehicle. Normally I buy used this is the first new one I bought in a long time I came across the one I wanted at Freeman Toyota. When I reached out to the dealership, I was connected with a very nice salesman by the name of Jonathan Ruiz. I filled out all of my paperwork prior to going to the dealership, and Jonathan kept in contact with me throughout the process to let me know when it was time to come to the dealership and finalize. The pricing online was fair and competitive; it was what I would call no haggle pricing. I did compare pricing online at other Toyota dealerships and Freeman's price on this exact Toyota Camry XSE hybrid was better by as much as a couple thousand dollars. When I arrived at the dealership, I was greeted promptly, taken care of quickly, and treated with respect. No one was pushy or aggressive.... you know how some of those dealerships are... you pull up and get out of your car and the salesmen descend on you like locusts. That is not what goes on here. I could not be more pleased with the entire experience, with that young man Jonathan Ruiz, the man who helped me in finance... everyone was marvelous. I look forward to experiencing their service department when the time comes. read more

Fellow Toyota Fans and To My More than 1 Million Followers on Social Media - avoid this dealership like the plague! I've never felt more gaslit and condescended in buying a car than I did when I reached out to Freeman Toyota to inquire about a Tacoma. This is on top of flat out lying to me. This dealership legitimately creeped me out - and I don't say that lightly. We have lots of options when buying cars these days - especially a Toyota. Please go to a dealership that treats you with respect, actually listens to what you're saying, and doesn't make you feel like an idiot for asking questions. Plus - find a dealership that tells the truth - which apparently Freeman does not understand. Side Note - you'll probably get an auto-email from the General Sales Manager "B.J." It will say that if you have any issues in the car buying process, to contact him directly. Here's what it doesn't say - when you reach out to B.J. to express your concerns - his emails seem to be screened by the very people who treated you badly in the first place. And, they get really upset with you for expressing that to B.J. One guy (Samuel Scarlett) even told me that I needed to respect the chain of command. At a car dealership. After treating me like garbage. Yeah - no thanks. Talk about having an inflated self-worth. Again, to my followers and supporters - please do not shop at this Toyota dealership. They treated me terribly and I don't want the same thing to happen to you. read more

Today's visit was to replace our battery (which we bought here a year ago). Ours has a two year warranty, thankfully. When I called to inquire about making an appointment I was told to just come to the service line and they'd take care of me. However, it turned out to be a few hours wait! We ended up changing the battery ourselves after they tested it to make sure it failed before warranting it out. I am grateful my husband knows how to do it otherwise I'd been waiting a few hours with a baby in tow. Every time we have come to Freeman, the customer service has been incredible!! But I HIGHLY and strongly advise making an appointment for everything. This location is extremely busy. We don't have time for oil changes here anymore because we don't live close and then the wait time is at least an hour on top of the hour drive. I deducted a star because it's just too busy for my family to continue making the drive and then waiting so long. Great business though! read more

I purchased a used truck at Freeman Toyota. The sales experience could not have been better. As part of the deal, Freeman agreed to purchase some door visors for my truck and I agreed to install them myself. Grady, the manager at the used car dealership lives in Burleson where I live and he personally delivered them to my home. That's old fashion, friendly, hassle free service. I have had heard rumors about how good Freeman Toyota is for years. My experience proved to me the rumors are true. Also, they didn't ask me to rate or review them; I took it upon myself to do so. read more

I went over to Freeman Toyota on this past Saturday. That is no easy decision because I live 50 miles away and there are a number of Toyota dealers between here and there, but it was a great decision. I originally, on Saturday, leased a Tacoma, but after driving it home, I realized that it wouldn't work. The ride was way to hard for me and it hurt my back, I couldn't see myself taking the vehicle on a trip. On Sunday, I called and left a message for Mr. Jerry Patterson even though I knew the dealership wasn't open. On Monday morning, I got a call from Mr. George Neel, my salesman and he said that Mr. Patterson was in a meeting until just before he called and had asked him to see what could be done. At this point I would have settled for having my trade-in back. Later that morning, I took the Tacoma back and Mr Neel said that Mr Patterson had been working the numbers and had found a Tundra that might work. We test drove the Tundra and later that day, I drove my new Tundra home. The people working for this dealership bent over backward to make me satisfied. The people I interacted with were great, Mr. Patterson, Mr. Neel, and even the finance person worked hard to make me happy and I am very grateful. When and if I need another vehicle, I'll gladly drive more than 50 miles to work with a dealership like this. They were great. read more

My wife bought in our one year old Rav4 (8,480 miles) for the free oil change and safety checks since we purchased our vehicle at Freeman. She was sold the "CF5 Fuel Treatment" and the "friction modifier and detergent". Why would a brand new vehicle with 8,480 miles using 0W16 synthetic oil need either one of these? Why would you even try to sell a female customer on either of these? I can tell you now, there will be no more visits to Freeman Toyota.... Disgusted beyond belief. read more

DO NOT GET YOUR VEHICLE SERVICED HERE!!!!! I bought my car here about 6 years ago. That process was pleasant enough. When I bought it, they asked if I wanted an extended warranty. Usually I don't get extended warranties, but the salesman said if I bought the extended warranty, I would get free maintenance for as long as I owned it. So I got the extended warranty. I asked several times to clarify "free lifetime maintenance for as long as I owned the car". The salesman told me yes. Even when I made an appointment, it would still take about 3 hours for an oil change. Which is annoying, but it was covered, so it is what it is. They would also always try to pressure me into paying for other repairs and would seem annoyed when I would decline. If they take that long to change the oil, I don't even want to think about how long they would take for other repairs. Last week, I made an appointment for an oil change. When I arrived I was pressured for 10 minutes into doing other minor repairs. Which I declined again. Then the technician told me that my free service plan was only good for 6 years and was now expired. I told him it was supposed to be good for as long as I owned the car. He again said it was expired and that the salesman that lied to me about the lifetime maintenance plan wasn't there. The technician admitted that I was lied to. It was so frustrating. I will never go back here for anything. And the cherry on top, when I brought my car to Walmart for an oil change, they told me the oil filter was out on too tight and couldnt be removed without damaging the filter housing from the last oil change (which of course was at freeman Toyota). So now I have to find somewhere that will be able to get it off. Do not get your vehicle serviced here. And when you buy a car from here, do not get lied to and buy the extended warranty. read more

I took my car in to Freeman Toyota for service and the folks were all very kind, helpful, and attentive. They even asked if I wanted my car washed! (Jaime did a great job and was very friendly!) Every time I have ever visited Freeman, for any reason, folks actually appear as though they like working at Freeman, and they act like it, too. Almost every time I arrive, I have been met at the door by some friendly fellow. Each of those friendly fellows has welcomed me, and opened the door for me. Joseph Okoh deserves special mention, he's always friendly and helpful! I've been to quite a few dealerships, in my time - before and after I bought a car from Freeman, all the folks have been really great! My salesmen, James Adu and Sam Scarlett are still very kind. James is so terrific! I am so surprised that he still greets me... He KNOWS I'm going to ask him a question or two! He's always been very willing to help me, though! Thank you, James! I found a car I really liked. It had high mileage. Mom son-in-law recommended I talk to my credit union before buying. I filled out preliminary paperwork, with the prmice they would only do a soft inquiry, to find out what kind of interest rate they could offer. This was repeated and one of the last things I said before leaving was do not run my credit. I am not ready. There were witnesses to this as he answered back to me. No, we will not run a hard inquiry. Before I got home, it was already done. I called for two days, but the salesman was off work, so I tried to answer one of the many many messages. The dealership kept sending me. They were not talk to me. They just kept sending me more messages. When my salesman was back in the office, he called me and apologized to me. I told him I would not do business with that company until they reversed what they had done with the credit reporting agency. Because I had frozen my accounts only one got through. I don't even know how that happened but anyway. He told me he would talk to the sales manager and see what they could do. The next day I got another message from him are you ready to come in and buy your car and I'm like no I do not do business with the company that pulls crap on me like this. So anyway, long story short, the car is sold to somebody different and my credit rating still reflects their inquiry. I will never ever come there again. ever. I'm still looking for a car. I hope that they see this and realize that I wasn't messing with them. I really wanna buy a car, but I'm not stupid. read more

They "collected" my personal information as a prerequisite to quoting a price for a used vehicle. They then took my drivers' license to get it copied. They brought it back to me and said they had to go "talk to the manager" for the quote. Less than 10 seconds later, they came back and told me the car was sold. They could have checked the availability of the car before they took the time to invade my privacy. I suspect they will sell my info based on how this interaction played out. I also suspect the car wasn't sold but they didn't want to quote or sell me the car because I told them I wasn't going to finance the car which would fatten their profit. This is the third Toyota which I have purchased over the years from Freeman Toyota. They do not play all of the games which most dealers do when purchasing a car, especially if you understand how the business works. CarPro USA referred me as a buyer for my latest purchase. (it is more difficult to get true dealer invoice now as in the past.) Without any negotiation in a much more difficult time to get good pricing on vehicles, Tommy Chau gave me a fair price way below MSRP, and managed to give me fair value on my trade, which helps with sales tax. As one repair was needed due to a Toyota manufacturers mistake, Dusty Jager, Service Manager, made sure the repair was made regardless if Toyota would stand behind the repair. Avoid any chance of "dealer" games, by understanding how auto sales and service works, and take great care of your vehicle. Freeman Toyota will treat you well, and respect you and your knowledge! The service department at this Toyota dealership is a shining example of why *NOT* to take your car to the dealer. They made a $2000+ mistake on my 4Runner, replacing a wrong part and without authorization to boot. After supervisors dodging my calls for half a day one of them finally responded and made right on the repairs. Now I get home with my vehicle and my hood will not open. This dealership service is worst I have seen in Dallas region. They have double standards and charge you differently if you are paying out of pocket or making a claim. I went there as I have a flat tire. The service department told me they have to change the tire. When I told them I have tire protection, they said they would patch it instead. They tried to completely rip me off some 500$ for new tire that was not needed in first case while I see they made a claim of 30$ to patch the tire. Further I had my tire pressure system malfunctioning because of the issue and rather than they fixing it as a part of process, they charged me 195$ extra for the service. Just for comparison the average cost to reset TPWS was 35-45$ and a simple google search would tell you that. I tried to talk to a customer service manager and someone that goes by name of "Shawn" who claimed to be a manager said I was unreasonable and unethical for asking them to fix it as a part of it since I don't have the problem previously. This guy clearly doesn't know how to behave with customers, completely rude and that shows how they give a damn about us. Wanted to love the place. Prompt service, great staff, etc. Everything went smoothly, went in for an oil change and a general diagnostic to figure out some intermittent engine trouble I was having. They got it done in 2 hrs and called me back and went through everything. Armando was great. However, upon returning, I notice something out of place - a giant crack through my windshield, something definitely not there prior to dropping off. Giving them the benefit of the doubt and the opportunity to make things right, I patiently waited for the manager Sean to come out and check. He then tells me that the crack came from a single point of impact that he had to show me with the tip of a pen to see, the slightest little divot in my windshield. A few minutes after discussing the HOW it happened, he says that I had signed a waiver prior to drop off stating that it is quote, "impossible" for them to have anything that would crack my windshield in their repair house/yard, and thus wouldn't be covering their damage. They simply pointed the blame to me for the small little indention and the obvious huge crack extending from it. They didn't deny that they broke my windshield, just said I started it while they finished it Thanks Freeman Toyota! Never returning if you can't do right by your own mistakes. Shoutout to the incredible staff members Tim, Jeremey, Marco, and Dusty at Freeman Toyota who have gone above and beyond to take care of me! I just wanted to take a moment to express my heartfelt gratitude to Tim, Jeremey, Marco, and Dusty who have made my experience truly exceptional. From the moment I walked through the door, your warm smiles and genuine care have made me feel like a VIP. You've gone the extra mile to ensure my comfort and happiness, and I couldn't be more grateful! On Thursday, May 18, 2023, I was heading to DFW Airport when my Tundra's check engine light comes on. A message comes across my display telling me to find a safe place to stop. My engine shuts off while I am still driving. This happened all in a matter of seconds. I was able to pull over safely to the shoulder of the roadway. I attempted to start my Tundra and it would not start. It wouldn't make any sounds at all. When I push the start button. Only the Accessory lights & radio would come on. The engine was not making any sounds and it wouldn't try to turn over. I wanted to have my Tundra towed to where I had purchased my Tundra at Shottenkirk Toyota of Weatherford but instead, I had to have it towed to the Freedom Toyota in Hurst. This turned out to be the best decision I could have ever made. Tim, who was appointed my service adviser called me on Friday morning. Tim advised me they would get my Tundra in their shop to see what the problem is. Tim follows up with me next week advising me that a gear in my engine had gone bad causing my engine to lock up. I was heartbroken that this could have happened to my 2022 Toyota Tundra but at the same time I understand it happens. Thankfully all this was covered under my warranty. Tim got my set up with a rental truck from Freeman Toyota free of charge. Since my engine was being replaced it took several months for Freeman Toyota to get all the parts they needed. Tim stayed in touch with me and kept me up to date throughout the entire process. Before my Tundra broke down, I had just had a custom grill made for my Tundra. Since my whole front end would be coming off my Tundra to replace my engine. I had asked Tim if they could put my new custom grill on my Tundra when they out it back together. Tim said it was not a problem and he didn't even charge me for them to do this. Tim got me in touch with Jeremy the Shop Foreman who was overseeing the work being done on my Tundra. Jeremy who went above and beyond to find the best solutions for me and my Tundra on installing my custom grill and installing the "Cancer Sucks" lighting on the grill that he didn't have to do but he did. Jeremy stayed in constant contact with me, making sure everything was how I wanted it. Jeremy's work was outstanding, and I was beyond impressed. On Friday, July 21, 2023, Jeremy contacted me to let me know that my Tundra was all fixed and ready to be picked up. When I arrived at Freeman Toyota to pick up my Tundra. Jeremy had my Tundra detailed and cleaned before I got there. While I Freeman Toyota I had the honor and pleasure to meet and talk with Marco the tech who did most of the work on my Tundra along with Dusty the Service Manager and Jeremy. Your unwavering dedication, professionalism, and kindness have not gone unnoticed. You've turned what could have been a stressful experience into a positive one, and for that, I am truly thankful. I want to give a special shoutout to Tim and Jeremy who have consistently gone above and beyond to make me feel comfortable and supported. Your exceptional skills and genuine compassion have made all the difference. Thank you for being the superheroes of my journey! To all the staff members who work tirelessly behind the scenes, ensuring everything runs smoothly, thank you for your hard work and dedication. Your efforts may often go unnoticed, but they are truly appreciated. So, here's to the incredible staff members at Freeman Toyota who have made my experience unforgettable. You are true heroes, and I am forever grateful for your exceptional care and support. Keep shining bright and know that you are making a positive impact on your customers! I recently leased a Tundra and after 2 weeks noticed that the dealership failed to provide a temporary liccense plate for vehicle in window. I immediatly called on a Friday and asked that they FED X the temporary plate on Saturday. I received a song and dance about they don't know if they can FED X. I politely asked that the temporary plate be sent on Saturday as I don't want to get pulled over and a get a ticket. The phone call ended, and I was not sure if they were going to send the plate as they made not commitment . No plate on Saturday, or Sunday from FED X. I called Monday and asked to speak with General Manager. General Manager not there, and they connected me to voice mail of assistant. I left a kind message about no plates and asked them to call.
