Do you want to know Autozone's secret? Their secret is hiring AMAZING people. I am a HUGE fan of this neighborhood Autozone (close to Mcdonalds and Kroger). I had to make an unexpected trip to Autozone because I needed a special tool. Why did I need a special tool you ask....because I was in a neighborhood off basswood taking my kids to a group swim lesson and someone literally stole the front grill off my car...(they too had a special tool.lol) Anyway I figured I would equip myself with the special tool so I could replace the part. I popped into Autozone, and immediately my day got better! There was a guy in a gray shirt and his name started with an R...it was Ray, Or Ryan. He is the BEST employee I have ever met at Autozone. Not only was he super helpful, but he took the time to help me use the tool, and I was able to fix my car right in the Autozone parking lot! Now how is that for service!! From now on, when I need tools or ANYTHING else that Autozone might sell, this is my go to place. I wish they sold food because this would be my new hangout.lol Ryan/Ray (sorry can't remember his name exactly, but I did get a picture of him from the back while he was helping another customer) is the best. So my wife had a dead battery on 1/22. She went to this store. She's been there before with a bad battery with the same car with no issues. This time the young man said she didn't buy her Duralast battery there and he sold her a new one. He didn't replace it cause he said he couldn't take the battery off her 2015 Ford Fusion. He said he had to take the car apart to get to the battery. So she came home and I changed the battery with the new one in 7 minutes. Will be back this week to try to get a core refund from the old battery you didn't take off last time, and see if there's still a warranty on her last Duralast battery. read more

I went to the store on new North Beach and North Tarrant this evening to replace my battery under warranty and was told they couldn't install it because of the airbox on top. I took the airbox off the employee told me he still couldn't install it because of the kind of car I had a 2013 jeep compass. The battery was right there in front of him. I worked for Autozone for five years and never refused to change the battery so if AutoZone thinks that I'm gonna change the battery now they're seriously wrong I do not recommend the store to anyone I see that the employees are just not willing to go to extra miles. read more

Had a great experience! Lori gave us superb customer service. We needed a new battery and she was really kind and helpful. Positive and quick experience. She tested the old battery and it was still in warranty so she gave us a new one. The car sounded much better after she changed the battery! Will definitely come back if we have any other issues. read more

Constantly being given the incorrect parts even when VIN number is provided. They're about 50/50 on parts correctness. They also have an associate there that talks down to people with nice cars. Went there one day and he proceeded to tell me that if I have excess possessions or income I need to "turn it in" and/or "give it up" to those that don't have as much. He pretty much wanted to start a capitalist vs socialist argument with me....I was just for radiator fluid and light bulbs?!?! read more

Great to have an auto-parts store so close to the neighborhood! The staff is friendly and motiviated to help if needed. Combined with a really nice mobile app, you can do your shopping before you get there and save the time of trying to find the right part numbers for your vehicle. EXTREMELY CONVENIENT!!! Only downside is that the "anchor store" in the complex does not allow AutoZone to collect used oil. They continue to appeal and I look forward to them offering this service as some point in the future. read more

This location doesn't take used oil. Pointless to have an autozone in the neighborhood if I still have to drive to another location that's further away. Other than that - it's just like any other Autozone. But the no used oil makes this one useless. read more

I shop here a lot because of the fact that everyone is helpful and nice. Jeremy has been there since the beginning, and has spent a lot of time helping me figure out what I need and don't need. You can't be mad at the employees because they don't take oil in that location, and they get busy working on orders. If they were jerks, I'd call them out, but they are great. Keep up the good work, y'all deserve the kudos. read more

Incredibly rude and unhelpful associates. I walked in to an empty store with two associates. I did not receive any greetings or acknowledgement as I entered the store and while I was looking for what I needed. Finally, I went to ask the lady for helped and she had made it feel like she was super annoyed by a customer asking for assistance. I'll never come to this store again, there's other auto parts stores nearby that'll treat its customers with respect and dignity. read more

My husband and myself have used autozone for several years because my husband does mostly all his own work on our vehicles, we actually go out of our way and pass O'Rileys so we can go to auto zone. We have never had a problem with customer service and today I called to get confirmation on a charge on our receipt. The gentleman who answered refused to answer my question because he said he was closing the store so he told me to google it and hung up the phone on me. I was extremely shocked because I called almost 30 minutes before closing and I have never received such inhospitable service. The treatment I received was completely unacceptable and I hope this is not the new philosophy of auto zone. So we will no longer be giving any of our business to auto zone. read more

I went there this evening after noticing a burned out headlight while at Kroger. When I walked in the associate, Mike, asked for the make and model of my car. I told him the make, but wasn't 100% sure on the model. So, he walked outside with me, asked me to pop my hood and started to remove the light. As he did, the light turned back on. Apparently the last guy who changed my light (kwik kar) didn't put it in correctly. While I was there, I figured I would get new windshield wipers. He found the wipers that fit correctly, and even offered to put them on for me. One of them wouldn't come off, so he went inside to get a screwdriver and ended up coming out with another guy to help (see pic). They worked on it for a good five minutes, and finally got it off. I am SO appreciative of Mike and all his help tonight! My husband was super shocked that Mike put it on, as well. We will definitely continue to use autozone, due to their excellent customer service! read more

I purchased a battery on August 31, 2015 from AutoZone. It died on March 19 2016, less than 7 months old. AutoZone replaced the battery. This new battery died August 2nd, 2016, just 4 months old. They replaced that battery and assured me this one would be good. They didn't understand why my batteries kept going bad. Now it's Jan 6, 2017, just 5 months since my last battery and I am stuck with another dead battery. I called AutoZone because I have no way to get there to get a replacement. They said they don't do service calls. The original battery had a two year warranty and that warranty is not up will August 2017. In the meantime, this will be my 4th battery under the 2 year warranty, whenever I can get there to have a new one put in. Since they keep dying, I'm wondering if they are putting in used batteries because each time they replace it they say that the new battery is only good until my original purchase date of August 2015. Once that date comes I will never purchase another battery from them. read more
