This visit was because my tpms was bad and causing my dashboard to flash constantly! I made the appointment on Saturday for first thing Monday (today) and when we arrived we were greeted promptly! I forgot to ask the name of the associate who helped us get checked in and paid up. He politely greeted all customers who entered and made sure everyone was addressed. It was so busy, customers kept walking in. I have no idea if they had appointments like I did. But there was an issue with a vehicle that caused one of the bays to be blocked for a long period of time. But the technicians found a way to work around it despite the setback! Good teamwork. My issue took just over an hour, unfortunately. It took the most time waiting for a space, but once they took my truck, they lifted it on a Jack and replaced the sensor quickly. I don't honestly know how this place has such good reviews. I stood in their lobby for almost 15 minutes just standing there being told they would get to me they would get to me. There was only guy who was on the phone and also helping a customer right in front of them and no one else was doing anything. One other person came in from the garage and said they would be right with me but they never came back. Other workers were there behind their computers but would not make eye contact or even acknowledge that I was there. I got a nail in my tire, Discount Tire wouldn't patch it; they said it was too close to the outer edge of the tread. So I took it to Cowser Tire a few miles away, I knew from past experience that they won't tell you that you have to buy a new tire if it's patchable. But they couldn't get the wheel off; I'd bought new wheels at Discount several months earlier, they replaced my lug nuts with locking lug nuts and didn't leave me with a key! So I had to go back to Discount, it was late in the day so I figured I'd get a key from them and have them put the spare on and I'd take it back to Cowser the next day. WRONG! I got the key from them, but they wouldn't put my spare on because it was the original spare and the car's over 10 years old. It's 11 years old, BTW. Fortunately, I got it back to Cowser 15 minutes before they closed and they took care of it for me. I give Discount Tire in Haslet 2 stars instead of 1 because they did at least give me a key to fit my lugnuts. A key they SHOULD have given me when I bought the wheels. read more

They kept/didn't place back on my tire air pressure caps!!! Tire pressure check/adjustment is complimentary for anyone who bought their tires at this chain. I drove in, only one vehicle was in the service bay, and at least 3 staff members. They waited till it started raining again (15 minutes later!) to finally come out and address my tire pressure. Went in to get a flat fixed and 4 tires rotated. They inform me that I need two front tires due to driving on low tires. They say that they don't have my size in and offer to put on some used ones and charge accordingly. After we left I realized that they charged me for the balancing and rotation on all four tires even though they charged me again with the installing of the new tires. Then it's obvious that they didn't even do a balance or rotation on any of the tires. So I call and talk to the manager Tomas'. He says that they don't automatically do a balance and rotation on new tires that are purchased. And that my bill was correct. I tell him that it makes no sense that a balance doesn't automatically come with the purchase of tires. He says well some people don't want it done. I tell him I wanted it done; after all I had paid 60 at the beginning of my purchase for a balance and rotation. Then I asked who wouldn't want a balance on new tires and he just said some people. He talked to me like I was a dumb woman. Anyway I told him the tires weren't even the right size and that they said they didn't have my size in. He says I will order the new tires and to come in to get this done and he wouldn't charge me for a balance and rotation. What?? On new tires? I went in the next day, mid morning, and they got me right in and the tires installed on new wheels I brought. Then they mounted them on my truck and helped me load out the takeoffs.
