I had to make an unexpected trip to Autozone because I needed a special tool. Why did I need a special tool you ask....because I was in a neighborhood off basswood taking my kids to a group swim lesson and someone literally stole the front grill off my car...(they too had a special tool.lol) Anyway I figured I would equip myself with the special tool so I could replace the part. I popped into Autozone, and immediately my day got better! There was a guy in a gray shirt and his name started with an R...it was Ray, Or Ryan. He is the BEST employee I have ever met at Autozone. Not only was he super helpful, but he took the time to help me use the tool, and I was able to fix my car right in the Autozone parking lot! Now how is that for service!! From now on, when I need tools or ANYTHING else that Autozone might sell, this is my go to place. I wish they sold food because this would be my new hangout.lol Ryan/Ray (sorry can't remember his name exactly, but I did get a picture of him from the back while he was helping another customer) is the best. First time customer at this location's service center. I originally sent a request through the Kia…read moreapp which said someone from the service department would call me to schedule, but after about a week I had to call up there and schedule myself. This location is quite close to home which is great when I do work from home. Upon arrival, I was greeted after about a minute or so, told my advisor was still working on a car ahead of me and to sit tight in my car until he comes out which was about another 2-4 minutes wait. Was escorted to the waiting area, which is open space alongside the showroom floor. I didn't notice if there were TV's or not, but they did have free coffee. Oil change took about 45min. No bells and whistles, no vacuuming or car wash. Maybe they will add these benefits later. My Telluride is brand new 2023, so this was the first oil change and although I bought it at the Hurst location, the Alliance location service center is closer and more convenient. I will keep coming back for now.

Used German Drive for the first time for a B service on my MB. That went well and they provided…read moresome recommended services that I should have done. I thought I had found my forever shop, lol. I recently tried to schedule for those recommended services plus something else I had been wanting to get done (i.e., replacing shocks). Long story short, they refused to replace the shocks (because I had purchased them from summit racing). I wanted to explain why I had purchased independently, but they didn't seem to care and cited policy. I even sent an email which did not get a response. I thought I had found a decent shop in German Drive, but they had no interest understanding the situation, and apparently don't need my business. It's bad business to have no flexibility to work with your customers as there are often extenuating circumstances that can be worked out without risk to either party. This would generate much more customer loyalty. Please don't bother with a response intended to CYA for your own optics as I know what you really think about your customers now. I'm just glad I found this out early in my dealings with German Drive and didn't spend a nickel more with them.
