I called in & spoke to Doug, he arranged my Uber ride back home. Shawn Dunn is the service writer that oversaw my overall needs. They repaired my engine rear main seal leak, replaced left & right engine mounts, valve cover gasket replaced, power steering flush & repair, flywheel, clutch & Pressure plate replaced, replaced trans fluid & rear differential fluid, topped off all fluids & test drove the car. The extended warranty insurance barely covered a fraction of the cost, the labor rate is great, I paid for price difference of OEM parts from what the insurance covered for after market parts. All in all my this place parked my car inside & never let up on their follow thru with ins. company. Shawn took pics after all the repair was completed. Car drives wonderful & very "tight" (in a good way). Overall, price point is relatively cheaper than BMW Dealership. Quality & customer service is tops here & I'm going to bring it back for oil changes & whatever comes up. The bill was higher than I wanted to pay, so I decided to give German Car Care a chance. They reviewed the car without me telling them what the dealership had said was needed. I was at the airport coming home from a bidness trip and the damn check engine light on my BMW 535i came on so I checked on the internet and came across these guys. A guy named Tony took the car in and the reason for the check engine light was that I had some bad coils - he told me not all of them were bad but if he didn't replace them all along with the spark plugs, then the problem could reoccur and I didn't want the check engine light again so I got him to do the work. (I called on the down low to my friend at the BMW dealer and they said they couldn't meet the price, BTW) He called me when it was done and told me he had checked the car over and not only was there a small leak (power steering lines) but also he asked me if I sometimes felt a vibration when stopping. I had!! It seems the doggone control bushings for the brakes were wornout. He took care of that, too! Apparently, they also work on Mercedes Benz if you got one of those. read more

Took my 2006 Audi in after doing a teardown myself to fix a major oil leak. I had changed out valve covers, radiator hoses, a lot of other stuff. It had a misfire, so I asked them to find it and do an inspection. Their initial estimate was $1700, which included replacing valve cover gaskets WHICH I HAD JUST COMPLETED. They tried to tell me that Fel-pro is not good??? Sorry, leave it alone. Ultimately, they had the car for almost a month and every few days would call me and tell me something else was wrong and needed more $$'s. The final blow was they told me I needed new struts, that they were blown. They said the tow truck must have done something. I said do not fix it, the car drove fine when I brought it in and I would do it myself later. I called the tow company and they said "no way, we have hydraulic limiters that limit the pressure placed on the car". I picked up the car and it was HORRIBLE!! The front end bounced and it was scary to drive. So they had somehow blown the struts and tried to blame it on the tow company, hoping that I would give them even more $$$'s. The initial bill climbed from $1700 to over $4000!!! I won't take my car back to them. read more

When they did somehow my windshield cracked not there fault but under their care. They said it would take a week to get the windshield and I told them I was headed out of town for a road-trip in my car. They went above and beyond the call of duty and drove to Oklahoma to pick up an authentic Mercedes windshield and had it ready for me 3 days ahead of my schedule. Took car in for oil leak. Also, change IMD bearing. Charged about 4000.00 dollars. Got the car back and missing part of headrest and wire from back windshield was not property put back. Just laying behind driver seat. The following week stranding on Dallas freeway. I took it to the Porsche dealership. The right passenger axel was not put on properly. I had a clicking sound coming from the front of my car. They tightened all the wheels and then found a loose brake pad. Since the owner knew I do that kind of work they told me what the problem was and didn't charge me a diagnostic fee or anything. They even dropped the car off at my house nearby. The techs are super knowledgeable and the owner is very honest and helpful. I've been to other shops where they try and sell you on service you may or may not need like brake changes and coolant flushes. Not here. Wow, these guys are awesome. I have an older BMW (btw, it is basically self-destructing after it reached 100k) and always had it serviced at the dealer (Sewell BMW which is also an incredible dealership). However, the costs of repairs the car needed were skyrocketing so I decided to try this place. They were incredibly friendly, made essentially the same diagnoses, but charged about a third the cost of the dealer. They use OEM parts for the most part rather than genuine BMW parts, but I'm all for that to save some money. Plus, after one particular repair, I had concerns about a month later and they took the car in and gave it the once over free of charge. We have used German Car Care for our two Porsches and our daughter's VW for several years now. Their pricing is competitive and well under dealer pricing. They recently replaced my brakes and they worked great but were squeaky. After a couple of months, I took the car back in and they immediately replaced under warranty. But what really prompted me to write this review was my most recent encounter. In trying to save some money, I replaced the coolant reservoir on my own with the help of YouTube. I was pretty proud of my work BUT one of my tools fell WAAAYYY down into the engine and after several attempts to get it out (even putting it on a neighbor's lift), I could not. Fearing that my attempt to save some cash was going to backfire, I took my car to GCC and showed them exactly where the tool was located. I knew it would take time to get it out and fully expected to be charged for the labor. They were so gracious and did not charge me a thing!!
