This was my first experience with needing a front end alignment and was driving down 26 and saw the exterior signing that they do alignments. So I went online and made an appointment and soon received confirmation of my appointment. Walking in for my appointment you are greeted in what I would call concierge type of engagement from the greeting, and engagement on my service. I sat in a nice waiting room and my service was completed within 30 minutes. They offer coffee, water comfortable furniture and TV of course. All the way around nice touch and super nice experience while getting the alignment that was greatly needed. Great value and great service, here. read more

Friendly but charged me $500 for a Muffler. Beware of high inflated charges. The receipt stated replaced Nuffler assembly. But usually that would mean you got a leading pipe and tail pipe. I looked under my Jeep. Only new part was a Muffler. They might have used a hanger ( that would be part of the muffler assembly) Just watch the charges. read more

LIARS and criminals -- do not trust anything these guys say. I brought my fiancée's vehicle in for an oil leak inspection. The next day, they called and said it would cost $550 just to find the leak, claiming they needed to take apart the engine. Looking back, it felt like they were trying to take advantage of us. This is where things stopped adding up. After I told them we were not moving forward with the repair, they suddenly claimed they had already ordered a replacement part and that we needed to "negotiate" compensation. Negotiate for what? I brought the car in for an inspection. I never authorized any repairs. And if it costs $550 just to find the problem, how do you already know what part is needed? The next morning at 8 AM, I went to pick up the car. The woman at the front desk was very nice and seemed new, but then she brought out a mechanic who had a completely different attitude. From the moment he walked up, he was clearly irritated. He started telling me the car was "broken," that I'd need to tow it, and that it wasn't drivable. I told him I was confused, especially since he was the one who said a part had already been ordered Over the phone. Suddenly, he backtracked and said no part had been ordered and nothing had been done. When I asked what he was confused about, he said "your attitude." I laughed and said some shit back ect. Once he realized I wasn't going to pay for unauthorized work, he tried to haggle me and hold my car until I paid a "storage fee". What a fucking asshole right? He gave me some more bullshit lies then he walked away and brought someone else out. The next guy comes out and tells a completely different story -- that the car was fine and they "fixed it out of the goodness of their heart." So which is it? Completely broken, or magically fixed? Turns out, they fucked up and tried to bully me to pay for their fuck up, by lying over the phone and TO MY FACE. When things didn't add up, and i just kept asking questions they would get really defensive, angry and start gaslighting. In the end, I refused to pay for anything I didn't authorize and only paid for the part and inspection. If you want to "win" with this shop, the best strategy is simple: avoid them entirely. read more

Made a big huff about how hard the work was and that's why it's so much. Took my car down the street and they did it for half of what this place quoted me and straight up laughed when I told them what this place is charging in labor. read more

I went in for a simple alignment and they told me I needed struts plus an alignment for about $1,000. When I got it it still pulled to the right and was making all sorts of noises, squeaking, knocking, clunking etc. I took it back in at least 3 times and each time they tried to convince me this was normal. Finally, they said the struts they installed were bad. They replaced it and then I noticed axle grease leaking. I took it back and they said they couldn't have possibly damaged my axele because it is not near the struts and not even related. I found out later this is not true. They wanted to charge me another $1000 to fix one axle. I took my car somewhere else. They said both axles were damaged, which I believe Concourse, broke. The new auto shop fixed both axles and they did this for the same price. read more

These guys quoted me for a $1900 a/c repair bill that basically was a complete replacement of most larger parts. All these people did was evac my a/c and told me I needed new everything. Didn't even bother to recharge a/c after I paid $146 for a diagnosis. They didn't bother to test if a/c control valve worked on the compressor. I brought it home and tested said part on compressor and lo and behold it was the fault. Re replace the control valve and recharged my a/c and shit blows cold again. However, I recently (couple months ago) stopped by to inquire if they would do a PCV replacement. Little man up front was extremely arrogant and indicated they don't have time to work on older vehicles and don't need the work "... look at the cars lined up... ", something to that effect. Our vehicle was serviced at the dealer earlier in the month, with the recommendation that the rear brakes and rotors be replaced. Really made no sense because they (rotors and pads) had all been replaced about 20,000 miles ago. Heard great things about Concourse Automotive and brought it in for a second opinion and repair, if needed. Their diagnosis was that all was within proper specs and replacement at this time was unnecessary. Saved us several hundreds of dollars in repair costs. I do most of my own maintenance on our cars. I took my 90's model F-150 in for an alignment a while back. I have always remembered the details they gave me on their thoughts regarding the condition of my truck, as it was fairly new to me at the time. The guys at Concourse truly went above and beyond to help me get my 2012 Tahoe up and running after it spent the last 3 years sitting in my garage. They let me know exactly what needed to be done immediately to get it up and running and what they recommended to be done in order for it to be in tip top shape. They gave me a breakdown of each item and the price, in order from most important to least. The price was very reasonable and the work was done quicker than I had anticipated. They completed all of the work that I approved. Once my car was finished up, I told the guys I would pick it up that evening but I wasn't able to make it over, like I had planned. Brad called me first thing in the morning to check in and see if I needed a ride. He came and picked me up and gave me a ride to the shop. He even gave me some input and advice on another car that needs some work. My family used these folks for a couple of years and put up with them calling my husband, later my ex, instead of me when I left contact information about repairs. My daughter (single, living away from home) had the same thing happen when she left her car--they called her father instead of her. Turns out they have two contact lists and the mechanics don't use the info on the one you leave. Finally insisted they remove the old info, even though we were "warned." Repairs were generally performed okay, until earlier this year when I had three or four repairs done. They couldn't figure out how to change the turn signal bulb, and not only didn't change it but broke the fender off and only replaced one of two bolts for the lamp so it hung loose. They only told me they weren't able to replace it, not that they had damaged the fender or hadn't put the headlight back correctly. I had to go buy signal bulbs and take the car to Richard's Body Shop to get the fender drilled so it could be bolted back to the frame, and out of the goodness of his heart he gave me a bolt for the headlamp so it wouldn't hang loose. Carelessness concerns me because if it's found in small things, it's going to exist in larger ones. I gave Concourse two stars because most repairs were done satisfactorily. read more

We've been going to Concourse for years and have always found then fair and friendly. I recently took in my car for a 70k checkup as my extended warranty had expired so I no longer needed the dealership service. Good thing - my car's "checkup" cost 50% LESS than what the dealership charged even with my (apparently useless) warranty....they always found major things wrong that weren't covered. I needed to get my travel trailer inspected they were able to fit me in on almost no notice. They did it very quickly, less than 10 minutes for a reasonable price just the state fee. Excellent service very good, really really appreciate good quality and kindness. It is a long story on how I found Concourse and decided to use them for my auto-care services. Quick version, through recommendations and stories from trusted friends and conversations with staff giving me a 2nd option for a vehicle I was told by dealership would cost me $10,000 to repair, I felt confident that they were not out to take my money or waste my time. I ended up purchasing a replacement vehicle and vowed I would give them a try. I am so glad I did!! The staff is friendly and professional. I have yet to feel like they are out to up-sale me each time I walk in the door. The waiting area is very clean and cozy feeling. My 13 year old son waited with me and didn't complain a bit because he felt comfortable. He even stated how much he liked the waiting area. Great example as how an owner can turn what was a good experience into a complete disaster. Dropped off my daughter's car for a "check engine" light. Had been told it was a sensor problem...Received a call from Trevor saying that no light was on and most likely a gas cap problem...stated that they had run the required emissions test and it passed...offered to get new cap and the total bill would be under $60...this is the great part. Went to pick-up the car and the owner was busy being very disrespectful to another potential customer in front of me...he was simply asking about a quote for a break repair. Instead of simply stating the policy of needing the car on-site to do an estimate, he made the car owner feel like he was trying to steal something...then told him to go down the road to Kwik Cars and Ben would give him an estimate without having the car, "but Ben can be a real Jerk". What a great local businessman...slam your competition for their practice of trying to be helpful. Now I explained that I was there to pick-up my car and he said "nobody called you and told you your car was ready". I explained that Trevor had called and explained that the check engine light was not on and that he thought it was simply a gas cap problem...and he was replacing that...and that the inspection had been done. Again, the owner stated that that I was incorrect. I explained that Trevor had in fact called me and that if the light came back on, then I would need to follow-up with him. This is when the owner said, "that's right, you need to get the facts correct". I apologized for my wording but stated the idea was the same...he quickly threw the inspection report at me and told me to take the report and leave..."I'm not having anyone try to beat me out of anything!" then stated "It's your lucky day, you don't have to pay for the inspection report...just leave". I explained that I needed the car and the keys...to which he responded, "I will have it brought up...take it and leave." To use words of Concourse Automotive owner....What a Jerk! Way to take a great experience and turn it into something terrible...and my wife was waiting outside to see if he could inspect her car next week for new breaks and drums....I would rather pay the outrageous dealership prices than give my money to such a disrespectful joke of a business owner...I own multiple local businesses and I would never treat a customer like he did and I would not accept it from ANY of my associates. Maybe just a bad day....but there is no excuse for this treatment...to a customer who was really happy with Trevor. My advice....Trevor, go running to a real business who will appreciate your approach to customer service. I will NEVER be back to this business. I have worked with Ben at Kwik Kar....go there, he is extremely helpful...just couldn't do the sensor work, but will be doing my wife's breaks. read more

I had the opportunity to experience this company's "customer service" not too long ago. A neighbor in my apartment complex, an elderly widow, had the alternator go out on her car,. The car was nothing special, a 2005 Dodge Neon. I offered to take care of it for her, but she decided she wanted to use a professional. She wanted to take it to Concourse since it was so close, and because she'd "heard nice things about them." We got enough of a charge on her battery to get her up there. I followed her up there to give her a ride home. I chose to wait for her in the parking lot, but after about 10 minutes I decided to go inside and check on her. She was just this side of tears. The reason she was so upset was the cost of the repairs. I don't recall the exact amount, but it was in excess of $650. $650. For an alternator. On a Neon. *blink* Folks, switching out an alternator is not all that difficult to do. While the engine compartment in a Neon is kind of cramped it's something that can be done at home, with no specialized tools. I swapped out her alternator for her in under 2 hours, using a $20 tool kit from Walmart and a $7 pry bar, including the time to go get the alternator. The alternator cost $70 plus tax. Even at the higher end of acceptable labor costs, including the cost of the alternator, this shouldn't have cost more than $300. Even Pep Boys, known for their high prices on automotive repairs, quoted her $400. Concourse had the opportunity to gain a new customer, had they treated her properly. Instead they chose to try to rip off a little old lady. Make of that what you will. read more

We started bringing our Hyundai to Concourse for regular maintenance because the Hyundai dealership was dishonest, took a longtime to complete work and overcharged.
