We started bringing our Hyundai to Concourse for regular maintenance because the Hyundai dealership was dishonest, took a longtime to complete work and overcharged. What a shame... have taken all my vehicles to Concourse for over a year and have talked with the owner Jack frequently. Yesterday, while my wife is away on a mission trip, I thought I'd surprise her by having some work done on the car (not mission critical - just fix a door motor). Last time I was in, Concourse gave me a price to fix it. I also needed some other work done at the same time (breaks, etc.) Since my wife is out of town, I had to make arrangements to drop of the vehicle the night before. Jack called yesterday morning to say that they could not fix it (something to do with Chrysler, which I later learned was not accurate). I shared that I was "very disappointed" that they had looked at it prior, and now they tell me they can't fix it. Jack's response... "well, I don't need anybody disappointed in our service - I don't want to do the other work on your car. Come get it." I calmly asked if he was serious - reminding him that I'd been a customer for a while and that, as a business owner, I thought he'd appreciate the feedback. He said yes he was serious. "I'm not going to work on your car." I was astonished... Here I was giving him perfectly legitimate feedback on customer service, and he responds by "firing me" as a customers. VERY disappointing. I would highly recommend Concourse to anyone that is looking for knowledgable ,honest car care in the DFW area. We brought our car in to get it ready for a family vacation and Jack and Eric were quick to let me know that my engine was on it's last leg and to keep pouring money into costly repairs might not be to our best interest. They could have easily done the $700-1,000 in struts and shocks repairs that my car might have needed and not said a word about the failing engine. But they immediately halted repairs until we made our decision and thoroughly explained the engine issue to me and saved me the $4-5,000 repair bill we might have encountered if we had driven the car cross country. No one wants to hear that they need a new car, but we are grateful for their integrity and honesty. An to top it off, they only charged me the minimal labor fee for all of their time and effort. I called 1 hour before driving to Grapevine. Tech said bring it in, that they,d look at it and possibly fix it. So I drive the 7 miles. The clerk at the front desk, asked me to many questions. I told him I called this morning, and they said they would look at it. Clerk said I,d have to leave my truck there, so they could diagnose it. write up a work order. and repair it.I told him I just wanted a statement of why the front end was squeaking. it did,nt need to be driven, squeaks by just pushing down on the hood front end,, like the suspension rubber boots where bad? He said he,d charge me $39.95 to look at it. hell all the boots on this truck cost less than $40. this shop is all about getting that almighty dollar. they charge $99/hr. You people in Grapevine should,nt be taken for a ride, for repairing your vehicles .There was only 1 mechanic in this good size shop. and he would,nt answer 1 simple question. ATTENTION ALL!! DO NOT bring your vehicle to Concourse if you do any of your own work and need an alignment or a job beyond your comfort zone or even ask JACK for an estimate quote and then decide not to have Concourse do the work. JACK (who runs the place) gets very offended and even rude/mean with you. MY STORY: brought in a Honda for an alignment. Jack calls me and says I need to replace a part and tells me what part is needed for them to complete the alignment and charges me $39. JACK tells me when I get the part replaced the alignment will be an additional $89. Fine. I pick up the car , replace the part myself and a week later drop the car off in the evening to get the alignment done the next day. The next morning Jack calls me and says the alignment is now $109 but he heard of a shop that will do an alignment for $24. SAY WHAT ? I'm still confused on this response turning away my business and JACKING up the quote. DISHONEST. Not my only unpleasant experience with JACK and others at the front counter. Had the worst experience at Concourse I've ever had with an auto repair shop. The air conditioning went out on our 2003 Tahoe. When we first took it to Concourse we spent over $900 on repairs. The A/C again stopped working a few months after these repairs, so we took it back to Concourse. This time we were told it would take almost $2000 to replace everything and get it running. Since the Tahoe still had several years left in it we went ahead with the repairs. Less than 2 weeks after getting it back the A/C stopped AGAIN. This time we were told there were several hundred dollars more worth of repairs needed. After some arguing they said they could not locate a leak but they would recharge the A/C system and add dye to try to locate the problem. This time it lasted less than a week. We returned to Concourse and left the Tahoe with them. A few hours later we received a call from them. We were told the problem was a leak in the evaporator core and that was something they couldn't replace. Really?!?! $3000 worth of repairs only to be told they couldn't repair the problem with the Tahoe's A/C?!?! It's a shame I couldn't give them 0 stars in this review. Not only would I never recommend Concourse Automotive Service, I would recommend staying as far away from them as possible. read more

Excellent service!! Took the wives Suv in thinking she had a bad bearing or CV joint. Found out it was just a piece of plastic in the fender lining that had cracked and was rubbing against itself when running down the road. They showed me the problem and instead of wanting to buy the part from the dealer, they suggested I find a new fender liner online and bring it in for instillation. Not often you find a shop that honest. read more

Based on all the positive reviews I read about Concourse, I called and within minutes of my conversation with Eric I made an appointment. A follow-up call that day from Jack, reassured me I made the right decision. This facility is not only trustworthy, but extremely knowledgeable and fixed my daughters car without wasting time and money. If you have any car problems and are looking for a reputable garage that truly takes care of the customer, look no further than Concourse. I will be recommending them to anyone I know in the future and of course any work I cant handle myself, I will be going there as well. I needed a new radiator for my older model Japanese luxury import. I live in the Southlake/Colleyville/Grapevine area and did not want to pay the dealer price of over $800. After checking several websites, I saw that Concourse came highly recommended, worked on imports, and was relatively close to my home and work. I gave Jack Bowers a call and got a quick return call with an estimate. I scheduled an appointment over the phone although I could have used their website (http://concourseautomotive.com). When I got to Concourse to drop the vehicle off, I found a comfortable waiting room with a high definition TV, some coffee, work space if I needed it, a coloring table for kids, and a vintage gas pump that listed gas prices at 13.9 cents per gallon. All the various certifications of their mechanics are displayed at the entrance to the waiting room. I was impressed to find no certifications older than 2011. Meagan greeted me at the counter, inputted my contact information and repair details, and offered a ride to work. Later in the day, the work was done ahead of time and pick-up and payment was hassle free. I hope that your experience at Concourse is similarly pleasing. read more
