My G37 vert has been making an atrocious rattling sound. I took it to the Infiniti dealer earlier, and was quoted over $2k for a new catylic converter. There is nothing wrong with my converter. JD Garage lifted my car, tightened two loose screws, and the rattle disappeared, not joking. They were extremely friendly, and the nice lady at the front desk was so hospitable, and they clearly are very transparent. I feel bad walking away for free, but they will absolutely get my return business. That level of service is just unheard of in this day of age. I recommend, %. Do not rent a Cruise America RV from this location or in fact, from Cruise America in general. The customer service at JD Garage is non-existent. They are rude and incompetent. Based on the people who work here alone, I'd never trust them to actually work on a car. I've taken my wife's van here and it is very reasonable. They always are honest about different options you can choose from and what they did with the vehicle. Recently I took my truck in and it had some major issues. They told me they would inspect it and let me know before any repairs were done. They did test the vehicle but couldn't figure out the problem. This took 2 solid weeks. Instead of charging me for the diagnostic, they told me where to take it next and didn't charge me at all. 1st... open hours is incorrect. Says online open at 8am. Front door says 8:30am. Tried to rent cruise America RV and they are very confused about my reservation. JD Garage also said that cruise America customer service is not good. Called about my RV reservation 2 days ago to JD Garage and cruise America no one called me back. So I drove to JD's Garage to see what's going on and all I got was confusion. Cruise America didn't even have notes on my call 2 days ago. They told me I should not have purchased a vehicle from CarMax and that the Warranty Company was impossible to reach. They then said the Warranty Company had said the repairs were not covered. Guess what? They never checked with the Warranty company. The Warranty company got a call, asked for some information, and never received a return call back from JD's. Guess what number 2, they took out a part that was not worn and slapped in another one. The second garage I took the vehicle to, did the manufacturer-suggested repair AND got the repair covered by the Warranty. When all the lights came on in my car despite it running fine, they worked on it for two weeks before taking it to the dealership for me and figuring out it was a factory mistake. I was desperately looking for a reliable garage this morning after City (shitty) Garage Euless quoted me an outrageous quote of replacing wheel studs, and tried to threaten/trap me with "we cannot let you drive the car, it needs to be towed to leave our premises" and I'm so glad I got referred to this garage by one of my best friends! I came away impressed with Imad's ability to diagnose a problem. Our 2015 Honda Accord had developed a rattling sound in the driver door panel. I had used WD-40 to lubricate the hinges on the door but to no avail. I found JD Garage on Yelp and took the car to them. Imad took it out for a test drive and said that the issue is actually under the steering column! He quoted $49 to diagnose the trouble and call me back. When he called me about 2 hours later, it was to tell me that the problem was indeed with two screws which were loose. He said that they fixed the problem and everything was fine. I went over to pay the $49 and pick up the car. We drove the car on local roads and highways, and the rattling is gone. It just doesn't get any easier than this! I have decided to take both of our cars to JD for future repair work and routine servicing too. I saw a sign that they do 30K, 60K, and 90K maintenance for all manufacturers. read more

The people of JD Garage are great at what they do -- extremely knowledgeable, hardworking, and honest. Bloody honest. Never have I felt that a job was added on just to raise the bill, or that the price was jacked way up. If you are an individual who has little knowledge of cars (or none), you won't leave JD's feeling taken advantage of. I've had regular tune ups here, along with parts replaced: belts, radiator, EGR valve. I have stories, but the short and sweet of it is other shops quoted way, way more than JD. I don't expect dirt cheap parts and labor, but there's a fine line... One shop asked near $700 for an EGR valve part alone, and did a shoddy job. A different shop said the same part was about $250, and they did a good job. Guess which mechanic shop was JD Garage? read more

I asked if they thought I needed a tire rotation and they advised they didn't recommend it at that time, and that it could cause my vehicle to drive unsafely due to how the tires were wearing. Amazing service and honest business. Very unusual to have HONEST in the same sentence as a mechanic right? Well this is the place to go to have good honest service done. We had our brakes replaced and front rotors replaced in October. By December the front brakes were squeaking...very annoying. Took it back to have it looked it..was told we'd have to replace the brakes..okay...even though we only had these brakes for 2 months. He ordered brakes and takes the car to the back and examines the issue closer. He calls me to the back and tells me the rotors he put on there in Oct weren't the right size for the and said he was replacing the rotors and brakes for free since it was his error. WHAT??? He could've easily just charged me for everything and we would've went along our way. He was so kinda and very open and showed me the issue as well. The guys that work here are the most honest mechanics I've ever met. I've gone here multiple times for oil changes and my most recent oil change they let me know that my engine was super low on oil and the oil that was in there was jet black. I contacted the dealership who I had purchased the car from and had been doing the majority of my maintenance with and they gave me the run around trying to sell me a fuel induction service. I know virtually nothing about cars so I called JD garage and explained the situation and in one phone call they explained to me exactly what the issue could be and told me NOT to get the fuel induction bc it's a waste of money and they told me exactly what to ask for. They even offered to check it out for me free of charge to make sure my engine wasnt leaking. I chose not to do that and used the info they gave me and contacted Kia Consumer Affairs and the dealership and got exactly what I needed done. It took multiple calls with Kia but I'm finally in the process of testing my engine and possibly getting a replacement (Kia engine recall issues). I didn't even get out of my car before he was saying 1 of my front tires had a slick spot( about 1 inch long) on it an needed to be replaced because I requested an inspection and oil change( he lost the company money that day) I went down the street and got my services done for less than his special. Discount Tire said my tires were fine as well. Dude had a serious PR problem. I will never recommend this place , even though I've been here twice before. I will be sure and tell everyone I know to go elsewhere and spend their money, it's not worth it! I only came here once but had such a positive experience I need to share. The battery was dead in my car but the tool at AutoZone didn't register it as such, so I bought an alternator from there and took it to this garage to be installed. Once I arrived they started on my car right away, only to soon let me know that they tested the alternator and it was perfectly fine, so I actually did need a new battery after all. I was so grateful they took the time to diagnose the problem correctly, saving me a ton of money in the process. I bought the battery from them and they installed it, and I was on my way in less than half an hour total.
