Cappuccino
Bailey H.

We stopped by for a quick cappuccino, and it was délicieux. Waitress was quick to come outside and greet us. Of course, in France, they don't rush you out ever, so I've always had to look inside and motion to our servers to ask for the check. Love the culture of sitting outside on a patio for an afternoon coffee.

Irish coffee. Wonderful on a chilly day in Paris.

While searching for a pharmacy to get an official Covid test, I found this gem. Ordered an irish coffee. Sat outside, drank my Irish coffee and people watched. Staff was pleasant and quick. One staff person spoke a little English along with my limited French, I had a relaxing afternoon.

Breakfast

Service was quick compared to what I had been experiencing in Paris. We came for breakfast, but it turned out that the benedict special was only available during Sundays. The only option we had left was the One Egg Omelette with a small salad which came with a fresh orange good (Really good) and a cappuccino. This was €13 per person. We sat outside and people-watched until we were satisfied.

We stayed in an AirB&B down the street from here and decided to try it. The Owner, Felip could not have been most hospitable, great food and atmosphere

Three words: "GET THE ONION SOUP OR YOULL REGRET IT FOR THE REST OF YOUR LIFE" I'm not good at math, but I think you get my point. I hope you won't be disappointed because I overhyped it, but we were here on vacation and had the onion soup- OMG it was the best part of our meal. The service was great- very friendly gentleman. The entrees were good, as was the coffee and the ambiance. We're desperately looking to make time to visit again for the soup before we leave. Bon apetit!

Amazing vegetable lasagne! And delicious peach iced tea. Service was swift and friendly to English speakers.

Pre fixe part 1

Came here for our farewell breakfast in Paris. We were out and about pretty early and there are no "diners" lol, so finding somewhere that was open was a test. But we succeeded! This place, like damn-near every place in Paris, was part bar, part restaurant. When we walked in, there were so few people there that we hesitated, thinking they might not actually be open. But they were. The waitress directed us to sit at a close by table/anywhere we liked. They had a very simple pre fixe breakfast. You get an OJ, choice of cafe drink, choice of croissant/baguette/pastry, and a choice of omelette or fried eggs. All for €12.50! Cray! I got the OJ, cafe au lait, baguette (which came with butter and some delicious jam) and the omelette. Shortly after ordering, I remembered where I was and decided to check if the omelette (simply stated "omelette" on the menu) had any swine in it. Turns out it did, cause French people out swine in everything as a default lol. But I caught it just in time. All the food and drink were deliciously no-frills. Food was quick and hot. Service was helpful enough, though slightly distracted by the conversation she was having with the other waitress. It was a proper send off meal for sure.

Duck confit
Juany R.

First meal in Paris after a long and tricky train ride from London. I have to say the bistro was quite impressive. Our server was quite helpful and translated the menu. I ordered the escargot as a starter which was quite good. For the entree I had the duck confit which was tasty. Can't wait to eat more French cuisine!

Lobster
Lexie L.

Great food, drink and services. It was my second day in Paris and just found this cafe near the hotel. I ordered lobster and a cup of mojito, it was fantastic!!! Highly recommended.

I ordered the duck confit. This was my first time ordering duck but I being in Paris, I felt obligated. I'm so glad I did. It was amazing. Perfectly cooked. Flavor was off the charts. Seasoning was great. An amazing dish complimented by friendly and timely service. My dining companion ordered the stuffed cabbage which was the best thing he's ever had. It was so good that he tried buying the recipe. Shockingly, that offer was turned down. Come to Le Florimond. Order the duck. Order the cabbage. Disappointment is impossible.

If you're looking for elevated, modern French food, go here!…read more I made a reservation a few weeks in advance for a special occasion. When we arrived, we were seated immediately and it was pretty quiet given we were on the early side (7:30). Our server spoke great English, was super friendly and helpful. My family and I ordered wine and cocktails, along with an appetizer, our main dishes, and the two desserts that needed to be prepared in advance. The appetizer was thinly sliced potatoes with a celery root puree and cheese on top. Absolutely delicious, and not as rich as you'd think. They served some great bread to mop up the sauce. Then the mains came. I got the wild boar and mushroom pasta. I do not love mushrooms but I honestly couldn't taste them in the dish, which is a plus for me. They did not skimp on the meat, and it was so tender I didn't even need my knife! It came with a roasted beet on top which was a little weird but I like beets so I didn't mind. My mom ordered the scallops which she loved, and my dad ordered the steak. He actually thought it was too rare so he sent it back, and they cooked it perfectly to his liking! Both their dishes came with the most amazing mashed potatoes, so creamy and garlicky. Then dessert! So the two desserts that needed to be ordered at the beginning of the meal were roasted pears with chocolate and hazelnut, and the orange and grand marnier soufflé. Both were absolutely worth the wait. So definitely come, make a reservation, then walk 10-15 minutes toward the Tour Eiffel for an extra treat!

PARIS -- In a city teeming with culinary landmarks, the true test of a restaurant often lies not in…read moreits proximity to a monument, but in its ability to make you forget it. RESTAURANT DE LA - TOUR, nestled comfortably in the shadow of the Iron Lady, passes this test with resounding flair. It is not a place that leans on the postcard views for its appeal; instead, it commands attention through the quiet confidence of its kitchen and the warm, genuine hospitality that feels both classic and refreshingly sincere. The menu is a love letter to French technique, but one written with a modern, inventive hand. A meal begins with a clear statement of intent. The Mixed Salad with Pears and Blue Cheese is a masterclass in balance, where the sweet, delicate slices of pear cut through the bold, creamy tang of the cheese. Even more compelling is the Warm Snails Escargots cassolette with Artichokes mousseline and Hazelnuts. This is a definitive departure from the garlic-and-parsley butter trope. The snails, tender and earthy, are nestled in a luxuriously smooth artichoke mousseline, their richness punctuated by the satisfying crunch of hazelnuts. It is a dish that feels both comforting and sophisticated. Enhancing Dining Experience R... The main courses continue this narrative of elevated tradition. The Roasted Filet of Salmon arrives with a crisp skin giving way to a flawlessly moist interior, resting on a vibrant ratatouille that sings of a basil-infused summer. For the richer palate, the Pan-fried Duck Breast is a standout. Sliced into rosy, perfect medallions, its robust flavor is brilliantly offset by a sharp, sweet raspberry sauce and the decadent, creamy embrace of potatoes gratin. Other classics are rendered with equal precision. The Pan-fried Duck Liver, seared to a silken texture, finds its soulmate in a doting apricot marmalade, its sweetness teased out by a whisper of rosemary. The Roasted Chicken Breast, a dish so often mundane, is transformed here. It is supremely juicy, elevated to grandeur by a profound Brie and truffle cheese sauce that is as indulgent as it sounds. No French feast is complete without its final act, and the pastry chef does not disappoint. The Warm Apple Tart Tatin is everything one hopes for in this iconic dessert-caramelized, buttery apples on a sturdy base, its warmth melting the cool vanilla ice cream alongside it. Its rival in decadence, the Warm Melted Chocolate Cake, delivers that timeless, gooey center, a rich eruption that is perfectly tempered by the clean, cold vanilla bean ice cream. RESTAURANT DE LA - TOUR understands that a memorable meal in Paris is more than the sum of its dishes. It is an atmosphere, a feeling. It is the kind of place that doesn't just feed you, but reminds you why French cuisine remains a global beacon. You may come for the landmark nearby, but you will return for the landmark meal.

The place is quite small, located in a nice walkable neighborhood within close distance to the Eiffel Tower, they offered French and English menus and I got to look at both and saw that the prices were the same so that was nice! I got a fish of the day (which was salmon for that evening) along with homemade ratatouille and my husband got the grilled sirloin steak. With every order comes with a basket of bread and butter (which I completely OBLITERATED) and I think the server dropped off two more baskets after the initial one. In my defense, I was very hungry after an extremely long day of travel. As for the wines I got myself the Argentine whereas my husband got himself a St Nicolas De Bourgueil, both paired well with out respective dishes. The portions of the food were great, the salmon was a bit bland for my liking but they did have salt and pepper on the table ready for use so I added those and paired with the ratatouille made for a tasty dish. My husband was happy with his steak, but also wished it was a bit more seasoned (American tastebuds and all). Overall, the service, food, portion, and prices were great and I definitely recommend this place for a nice little cozy dinner in Paris!
