And finally passion fruit ice cream with berries, whipped cream, and corn flakes.

I had an absolutely wonderful experience. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was pleasant, and the service was very good. I tried veal liver for the first time and it was quite delicious. My favorite dish of the evening, however, was the amuse bouche beet cream. It had such a dance of flavors and textures in my mouth - very artful. The decor is very trendy, lots of wood with a rustic vibe. It has a cool plexiglass panel in the floor that lets you see down into their wine cellar and also offers patio seating. No complaints about the service. Will say, this restaurant doesn't have many vegetarian options (none of the main dishes were vegetarian), but does offer fish. I think the menu changes seasonally, however, so there may be vegetarian dishes offered at other times.

Top: Baba au rhum au beurre noisette, ananas et raisins confits, chantilly. Bottom: sweet apricots, rose flavour ice cream.

Excellent bistro recommended by our host. Everything was great, the wine, the soup, the entrée, main dish, dessert, service, decor. My only complaint, why put a scale in your washroom!? Haha. Seriously, it shouldn't be there...even if it's a vintage.

First time in Paris and this place is the first we stopped at to grab a drink while waiting to be able to check into our airbnb. It is pricey but I guess that is normal for a tourist city that Paris undoubtedly is. The restaurant is beautiful, the interior is very classy but rustic. It is primarily a wine bar but they also serve a good beer and according to my friend a very delicious cider. We didn't order food there but got a little complementary plate of air dried salami and pickled gherkins which were beyond words! A very nice gesture - and I'll probably dream about that salami for the next eight weeks! The staff was very friendly and accommodating, and tried their best to communicate with us despite the language barrier, always with a smile on their faces. We might come back to eat here during our stay in Paris.

Excellent restaurant not on typical tourist trails. Service was excellent. They even had a kids' meal for 14€. You have to ask as it is not on the menu. Flavora were bold, at times a little too salty, but we enjoyed it nonetheless. I ordered hearty dishes in summer, but if I had order lighter dishes this would have been better. In my 6 month stay in Paris, this restaurant stands out without exaggeration.

    Ambience is nice and cozy!

Fantastic food, and service that was above and beyond what we hoped for. A real gem, would recommend this to anyone staying in the area.

Delicious food and a very attentive staff. Hidden gem in the heart of Montmartre. Great for a cozy dinner on a rainy day.

Seeing that the reviews were excellent, we decided to give it a try. We were stunned with the friendliness of the staff and their willingness to help us even though we did not speak French. The food was outstanding beginning with the appetizer - French fries with bacon and cheese. Our mains were even better along with an outstanding bottle of wine picked with the help of our waiter. Poni was a Michelin star restaurant to us!

I was seated in the backroom which was all high tables and very quiet. Notre Pâté en croûte - This was great. A slice of bread with chunks of duck and other meat with pickled items on the side (which I always love!) and a little bit of lettuce. It is not like a spreadable paté. Capra (salade) - this was a large salad with three large fried goat cheese balls. I had to take much of it with me. It has a variety of ingredients which don't necessarily go together but you can mix and match with each bite. They have a QR code to their website for the English menu if you need. I was stopped at the door asking if I paid which was strange because the tables in my section all have QR codes on them to pay before leaving. Do Parisians not use these? Next time: I'll sit upstairs and try some other dishes.

The food was served tapas style, and they have deals such as getting 5 (or 10!) plates at a discounted price. We ordered 5 for the two of us, but the tapas here are much larger than they are in the states, so we were STUFFED and didn't even finish three fourths of it! Well worth the money. Because it is a more authentic place, most waiters didn't speak English. They were helpful to the best of their ability, and I would highly suggest giving them a try even if you're not overly confident in your French!

Unfortunately, it was past 10 pm so a lot of places were closed. We were getting frantic trying to find a restaurant that was still open. We finally pinged this place on GoogleMaps. I have to say, this place is the definition of a hidden gem. It's a small French tapas place off on a side street that unless you were really searching, you would probably walk by it in favor of larger restaurants. I don't know if our waiter was also the owner or the sommelier, but either way, his English was limited. Luckily, my fiancee's sister speaks French so she was able to translate the menu (to an extent). As such, this was a tapas restaurant so everything was small plates and meant to be shared. I don't remember the exact name of everything we ordered, but I remember a Pad Thai, a beef dish, smoked salmon, octopus, and a fried dish (maybe calamari, but I don't remember). The food is excellent and packed with flavor. You'd be surprised how filling these little dishes can be. If you ever come to Paris, I recommend going off the beaten path for this little piece of heaven.

Unfortunately, it was too early for the tartare as they only serve that during lunch/dinner hours. So we ordered an onion soup, a dozen snails, and a cheese plate. The onion soup was really good. The cheese was nice and melty and slightly charred in some spots. I shared this with my husband but I probably could have eaten two of these on my own. The snails were great as well. But I feel like 12 is a little too much for two people, but 6 wouldn't be enough. For the cheese plate, I don't remember what was on it but I remember not liking the harder cheeses and really liking the gorgonzola. I wish we found out about this place sooner so we could have tried a proper meal. If anyone gets a chance to try the beef tartare, let me know!
