    Perfect soufflé!
    Betty N.

**SOUFFLE ALL DAY** Paris knows how to make me swoon. One of my favorite bistro experiences. AMBIANCE ========= Cozy, somewhat modern, but not too casual. Nicely lit (not too bright) with soothing music. No tourists (yay), lots of locals and celebrations. FOOD ===== ENTREE + DESSERT = 27 euros ENTREE + APP = 27 euros --TERRINE with their house cognac sauce-- Can't get enough of foie gras or baguettes. Nice flavor and beautiful bread. RATING: 5/5 --SEAFOOD DISH of the day-- Monk Fish WITH LOBSTER were perfectly moist and flavorful. The French know how to cook fish without the horrid fishy smells. Beautifully done and generous portions. RATING: 5/5 --SOUFFLE-- With Grand Marnier and it was textbook perfect. Couldn't have asked for a better looking or tasting souffle. RATING: 5/5 BONUS ======= Gave us some truffles and almond cookies with our bill. OMG, those truffles. Nice ending to our meal. RATING: 5/5 SERVICE ======= Food came out timely and the staff was friendly. RATING: 5/5 OVERALL ======== Definitely my favorite bistro thus far in Montmartre. Good-priced (especially for the seafood entrees), excellent food, and nice atmosphere. WILL RETURN. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Great food! This was my favorite place to eat at in Paris... I would highly recommend it. The menu changes frequently but the sole was great and the asparagus puff pastry was an excellent start. The flavors were very well executed. I loved the bread that you start with... it was so unique. (They also served the normal baguettes) The service was wonderful! They were able to get us in without a reservation, but they turned down several people after us. Its a small place and it fills up quickly... a reservation is a must. We just got very lucky... and went right when they opened. The chocolate souffle like dessert was so yummy, but they do leave you with something sweet at the end. A nice finish to an awesome place.

Mains consisted of cod and rack of lamb.

I thought the restaurant had charm and was one of those "hidden gems" where the locals went for dinner. It was certainly a great Parisian dinner considering it was our first. The menu on the chalk board was in French but the maitre'd had no issue with translating it in English for us. I thought presentation and flavors were exquisite and their house red was robust and full-bodied enough to pair with my rack of lamb. I would have given them a 5 except that when the night carried on as more patrons entered, I felt we were forgotten. The cheese plate was underwhelming as a dessert plate as well.

Amazing dinner!! Authentic French food. They have a 3 course set menu for 32 euro. Food display and level of cooking is exceptional. Service was also very very good! will definitely be coming back next time I'm in Paris!

It's a little restaurant not far from Montmartre. When we arrived at the restaurant they were fully booked but told us to wait 45 minutes and then they'd try their best to give us a table. The waitor gave us a nice recommendation where to go for drinks meanwhile. When we came back everything was ready in this lovely little, pretty restaurant. The menu was only in English but they helped us translate the things we couldn't figure out on our own. Had the cod with spinach and the most amazing sauce. The staff selected the wine, and it was a perfect match! Chose the chocolate cake and raspberry ice-cream for dessert. I really recommend this restaurant - good service, delicate food and lovely surroundings.

Fantastic place to get a three course meal for 35 euros. Don't be fooled by the price because you will get a well done and filling meal for such a good deal. The atmosphere is casual yet intimate and there are no tourists! I would bring either a date or a group of friends to this place.

We tried this restaurant mainly due to Yelp reviews. Our hotelier also confirmed it is well regarded and popular with Americans. We got the plat (appetizer) entree and dessert from the prix fix menu and all three options were very good (fish, red meat and pork). The portions were good sized as well (we were prepared for small French portions and were pleasantly surprised. We tried to go it in French, but they did offer an English translation when we came in. Take it when it's offered as we weren't able to get that later. Also, unless you are going early (1800-1900) make a reservation. We were lucky to get a table, and were seated with the caveat we had to be out for a 2100 reservation. The staff was friendly (for the French) and very attentive despite the busyness of the restaurant.

These smaller bistro type eateries are the lifeblood of the local cuisine. They consistently offer reasonably priced dishes that are full of flavor and technique. The wine and drink options are well catered to the menu and they provide options for most price points. The service we experienced was exactly what you want... our server had plenty of suggestions based on the offerings of the day. The service was attentive and responsive... not much more than you could ask for. I had the duck breast being offered... it was served alongside crispy potatoes, green beans, and a salad. Adding in the onion soup and a glass of wine... it quickly became a King's dinner at a very reasonable price. I would be more than happy to eat here again and look forward to exploring the rest of the menu offering many local and classic French options.

Like others have said, it's super small inside, so you'll get to know your neighbors really well. But your attention will be more focused on the food they bring out. I had the lamb with thyme sauce and my wife had the confit duck leg. Don't be afraid to pick the sauce of the day over the regular honey sauce. The sauce of the day on the day we went was a blackberry sauce which was crazy good. With a bottle of wine at 24 euros and both entrees under 20 euros, you couldn't really beat a meal of that quality in many places around Paris for that price. It was only after I ate at Le Potager did I see it had a bunch of great reviews on Yelp. It's definitely earned all those stars.

Making a reservation isn't hard but you do need to email them and there's no online booking system. You also have to confirm again 1-2 days before. I understand they are small with a limited number of tables so that's fair and it seemed like everyone showed up even though they don't require a deposit. On a Friday night, it didn't appear there was much chance or walking in although there were like 2 open seats at what would have been a shared table. The menu is small and includes some typical French starters, steaks, 3 non steak entrees, cheeses, and dessert. All steaks come with potatoes, 3 sauces, salad. Service was a highlight. The waiter was personable and funny, had solid recommendations, and made sure leftovers were taken home. Also had a solid wine recommendation after asking some questions. They probably get a lot of people who don't speak French and they had no problem speaking English. The food- ordered a ribeye medium rare. The steak was so so charred on the outside and it almost ruined the whole thing. I really wish they would have charred it way less especially when it was ordered medium rare. There is seared and then there is burnt; this was sadly the latter. The steak itself was fine, honestly nowhere near the best meat I have had but the price is quite reasonable for how much you get. I would say the steak was maybe 6/10 for me, largely due to the cooking. The fries were phenomenal. Definitely a highlight and really tasty and with a great texture. Salad was good, pretty typical. I wanted to like the sauces more but found them just okay. The best by far for me was the blue cheese sauce but even this one I thought the flavors could have popped a little more. Atmosphere was fun, there were a few bigger groups (6-8 which is the biggest they accommodate) but it never got unreasonably loud. Overall I wanted to love it but was a bit disappointed even though the service and fries were both great.

It's a tiny restaurant, so if you're a party of two, you might share a table with others, but they have spacers so you don't feel like you're eating together. Reservations were easy to make. You email in your requested sitting and someone will get back to you shortly. We were able to get in a little ahead of schedule and start the adventure. Wines were reasonably priced and they had a good variety of cocktails. We hadn't had French onion soup on our trip, so we ordered it as an appetizer. Sometimes it can get a little salty, but these were very well blended. Sacree Fleur seems to be known for their steak and frites, so we ordered the steak for two. Steak comes out on a sizzling platter. You can turn the pieces over to keep cooking until your preferred temperature. It was quite succulent and the fries were well prepared. There are two dipping sauces and some salt to season your meal. We hadn't a great time and way too much food :)

We were so looking forward to the frog legs, onion soup and other delicacies pictured. We got there and the sign was just as it was with the same name -- Au Pied du Sacre Coeur. We should've noticed something was wrong when no one was inside. When the waiter (lone person working along with cook) gave us the menu, my wife and I stared at each other completely confused. The menu looked nothing like the ones on this website and featured Italian food items, like spaghetti, arroz con pollo or mozarella. I asked him about frog legs or the onion soup. He looked confused and just said no. Out of respect for him, we just ordered the charcuterie, which featured stale bread and a few slices of meat taken from my local grocery store in the U.S. Also -- they claimed to not accept any international credit cards. WHAT HAPPENED? Are all these reviews fake? Most likely, they underwent new ownership right when we visited. But new visitors -- please beware. Do not trust any of the reviews before mine.
