    Beef bourguigon over pasta.

This little bistro on a great street in Paris served up some tasty dishes. If you want to have the most traditional Parisian cuisine, this is your spot. It's a spot that locals and tourists frequent. This means authenticity and ease. The waiters were very helpful, spoke some English, and provided excellent service. I would definitely go back.

Great service, delicious food, convenient location near the Eiffel Tower. The host and waiters were friendly, all spoke English.

What a nice suprise! Get the Croquet Monsieur and the croquet madame. Both amazing and you can sit outside! 10/10 recommend, and prices are reasonable!

I, like many, visited for the croque monsieur/madame. My madame was fine but by no means the best. I notice that many restaurants that serve croques are omitting the béchamel and this, in my opinion is what elevates a croque monsieur/madame to the level above ham sandwich. It's the creamy smear of this easy white sauce with a hint of nutmeg that makes this dish. Le Petit Cler omits the béchamel. It was an open game ham sandwich with melted cheese and an egg. Meh. The waiter also asked for a tip which I thought was a little classless. It's good but you can do better.

Charming small bistro restaurant with a wonderful menu! We stumbled on the restaurant down a quaint little lane behind our hotel in Paris! We were welcomed in and enjoyed the authenticity of a small establishment but large on service! Our meal was outstanding and I had to have the profiteroles for dessert. They are not to be skipped!

Nice ambience, good food, and great happy hour! Dinner visit before going to the Eiffel Tower and enjoyed our meal. Skirt steak (butchers choice t), salad, and baked potatoes for my husband. I enjoyed beef bourguignon and the happy hours drinks. Espresso martini and St. Germaine's ...while sitting outside. I would definitely return back and service was good!

Le petit Cler lives up to its name, small and quaint bistro where you literally sit on top of each other. The big plus is great service and amazing food. We had the Beef bourguignon tagliatelle pasta and Croque monsieur madame with onion soup Many people said the Beef bourguignon is just fancy beef stew. Well, if it's fancy stew I'm all for it! The beef was tender and the sauce savory and full of flavor as the Beef is braised in red wine. The monsieur madame a fancy and extravagant ham and cheese sandwich topped with an egg. Both entrées were simple in presentation and comforting . The location is walking distance to the eiffel tower and the area outside the restaurant boast some great shops. A definite go to spot.

We ventured out to Le Petit Cler on the way to the Eiffel Tower. The restaurant is nestled in a small, walkable street with several shops. We didn't have a ton of time but wanted to dine at a French restaurant known for their croque monsieur. Positives: -Service; our waiter was attentive (a strong plus in Paris), kind, and communicative. -The croque monsieur (and salad) did not disappoint -Water is served in a large flask so you don't need to track down your waiter for a refill (important to stay hydrated walking the streets of Paris) Negatives: -the flank steak was more on the rare side (though I requested medium) and desperately needed the accompanying pepper sauce (at an extra cost) for taste All in all, an average dining experience. If you want a French dining experience near the Eiffel Tower (with cute shops around), there is a strong chance Le Petit Cler will check your box.

Great neighborhood restaurant! Friendly service and I'd recommend the dish of the day - I had the chicken on a Sunday evening and so did about 75% of the other diners. :) It was delicious. Prices were very reasonable too.

This was my first Croque Monsieur of the trip and I was super excited, but it was burnt on one half and was open-faced, which was a bummer. Coffees were good, service was friendly. A lot of the indoor tables, including the one we were at, are so close together they need to be pushed away from the booths on the wall to let out the person on the booth. This was kind of awkward when my husband was in the bathroom and I was trying to get up, but the staff jumps in to help pretty quickly. There are a lot of little cafes in Paris, so I probably wouldn't return to this one, but maybe other menu items are better.

For our last meal on our Paris vacation, we searched all over the area near the Eiffel Tower and Hotel des Invalides. So happens, we found a great restaurant right next our motel at Grand Hotel Lévêque. Le Petit Cler is relatively small with mostly outdoor dining. The pedestrian street, Rue Cler, has a fair amount of activity. Though mostly local. This is a nice atmosphere. I had six escargot, which I loved. For dinner, my wife and I both had beef bourguignon with tagliatelle pasta. Wine was a very good Cotes de Rhône. And we split a profiteroles for dessert. A wonderful final meal in Paris.

Bordeaux and Cote de Rhône - both very good!

An adorable spot on such a lovely street. This was our first stop upon arriving in Paris. We got a little table on the patio, and enjoyed a latte, glass of Bordeaux and Cote de Rhône, French onion soup and raspberry tart between the 3 of us. Prices were reasonable, and there seemed to be locals and tourists, but they offered us menus in English. Would love to return!

Recommended by out hotel. We walked along this gourmet food street. Many gourmet shops & restaurants presented beautiful foods to those strolling past. The street is closed to traffic, there were many tables & chairs outside. There was WiFi, great service, very reasonable prices & a warm inviting setting. The restaurant was quiet at 6:30 and by 7:00 every table was taken. Disappointed today's special is sold out. I ordered country pate & my husband a flank steak. We were both pleased with our choices. My pate was fresh & tasty. My husband's steak was cooked to perfection & was lean & juicy. He enjoyed his salad & baked potato as well.

I ordered the duck confit. This was my first time ordering duck but I being in Paris, I felt obligated. I'm so glad I did. It was amazing. Perfectly cooked. Flavor was off the charts. Seasoning was great. An amazing dish complimented by friendly and timely service. My dining companion ordered the stuffed cabbage which was the best thing he's ever had. It was so good that he tried buying the recipe. Shockingly, that offer was turned down. Come to Le Florimond. Order the duck. Order the cabbage. Disappointment is impossible.

When we arrived, we were seated immediately and it was pretty quiet given we were on the early side (7:30). Our server spoke great English, was super friendly and helpful. My family and I ordered wine and cocktails, along with an appetizer, our main dishes, and the two desserts that needed to be prepared in advance. The appetizer was thinly sliced potatoes with a celery root puree and cheese on top. Absolutely delicious, and not as rich as you'd think. They served some great bread to mop up the sauce. Then the mains came. I got the wild boar and mushroom pasta. I do not love mushrooms but I honestly couldn't taste them in the dish, which is a plus for me. They did not skimp on the meat, and it was so tender I didn't even need my knife! It came with a roasted beet on top which was a little weird but I like beets so I didn't mind. My mom ordered the scallops which she loved, and my dad ordered the steak. He actually thought it was too rare so he sent it back, and they cooked it perfectly to his liking! Both their dishes came with the most amazing mashed potatoes, so creamy and garlicky. Then dessert! So the two desserts that needed to be ordered at the beginning of the meal were roasted pears with chocolate and hazelnut, and the orange and grand marnier soufflé. Both were absolutely worth the wait. So definitely come, make a reservation, then walk 10-15 minutes toward the Tour Eiffel for an extra treat!

RESTAURANT DE LA - TOUR, nestled comfortably in the shadow of the Iron Lady, passes this test with resounding flair. It is not a place that leans on the postcard views for its appeal; instead, it commands attention through the quiet confidence of its kitchen and the warm, genuine hospitality that feels both classic and refreshingly sincere. The menu is a love letter to French technique, but one written with a modern, inventive hand. A meal begins with a clear statement of intent. The Mixed Salad with Pears and Blue Cheese is a masterclass in balance, where the sweet, delicate slices of pear cut through the bold, creamy tang of the cheese. Even more compelling is the Warm Snails Escargots cassolette with Artichokes mousseline and Hazelnuts. This is a definitive departure from the garlic-and-parsley butter trope. The snails, tender and earthy, are nestled in a luxuriously smooth artichoke mousseline, their richness punctuated by the satisfying crunch of hazelnuts. It is a dish that feels both comforting and sophisticated. Enhancing Dining Experience R... The main courses continue this narrative of elevated tradition. The Roasted Filet of Salmon arrives with a crisp skin giving way to a flawlessly moist interior, resting on a vibrant ratatouille that sings of a basil-infused summer. For the richer palate, the Pan-fried Duck Breast is a standout. Sliced into rosy, perfect medallions, its robust flavor is brilliantly offset by a sharp, sweet raspberry sauce and the decadent, creamy embrace of potatoes gratin. Other classics are rendered with equal precision. The Pan-fried Duck Liver, seared to a silken texture, finds its soulmate in a doting apricot marmalade, its sweetness teased out by a whisper of rosemary. The Roasted Chicken Breast, a dish so often mundane, is transformed here. It is supremely juicy, elevated to grandeur by a profound Brie and truffle cheese sauce that is as indulgent as it sounds. No French feast is complete without its final act, and the pastry chef does not disappoint. The Warm Apple Tart Tatin is everything one hopes for in this iconic dessert-caramelized, buttery apples on a sturdy base, its warmth melting the cool vanilla ice cream alongside it. Its rival in decadence, the Warm Melted Chocolate Cake, delivers that timeless, gooey center, a rich eruption that is perfectly tempered by the clean, cold vanilla bean ice cream. RESTAURANT DE LA - TOUR understands that a memorable meal in Paris is more than the sum of its dishes. It is an atmosphere, a feeling. It is the kind of place that doesn't just feed you, but reminds you why French cuisine remains a global beacon. You may come for the landmark nearby, but you will return for the landmark meal.

They had a number of goods to choose from and I ended up buying a few things for souvenirs. As for the actual restaurant, they had a number of delicious sounding items on their menu. Our server was very attentive to us and helped us decide on our dinner orders. Similar to the other restaurants though. After our food was delivered, it was far in between when we were checked on again. And after dessert it took even longer for our server to bring the bill. Overall, the food was a letdown. I do not exaggerate when I say that the frog legs just tasted like slightly flavored water. My friend's ravioli had a fairly decent flavored sauce but the pasta was a bit chewy. My friend's duck breast was pretty tough; I had noticed the table next to us also ordered it and they seemed to have trouble finishing/cutting theirs as well. As for my steak with foie gras, well the steak was once again tough and the foie gras was weirdly stringy. It was soft for the most part but there were parts that were tough and stringy. Maybe that's a section that's generally separated in the preparation process and it was missed? In any case it was disappointing. What wasn't disappointing was dessert though; perfectly sweet and balanced.
