I had a good experience at Atrium. Came with a group of 7 (with a reservation). Our server Jabel was amazing! We tried the Lacandon Swizzle and the Mimosa. The Lacandon was good but it had a spicy kick to it which none of us were expecting. My entree was the bistro steak and 3 of us ordered it. The gravy used was amazing so I wasn't disappointed with my choice at all. The food was all good but took a little time to come out. We were enjoying the vibes. The atmosphere is so chic and by far the best thing about Atrium. It's a perfect date spot with a friendly staff and good food. The only downside is the prices are pretty expensive and they don't validate parking. I would probably go more often if it weren't for that. They also have a menu that changes pretty often so if there's something in particular you're going back for you should check beforehand to see if they're still offering it. On Sunday we planned a ladies brunch at 12 Noon and I was the first to arrive! That was a sign this was going to be a great experience. The hostess was very nice greeting me at her station at the entry of the restaurant. There's a martini bar, a waiting area/lounge and the dining room that are beautifully decorated. The colors, textures and fixtures are all well selected to feel like you've left Atlanta. Once we were seated, our server Amira was very thorough and attentive. She verbally repeated each order back to ensure she got it right - nothing written down. Our food came out promptly by others on staff. They clearly work as a team and it shows. The Manager was visible walking the floors wearing a cowboy hat. I ordered the Atrium salad with shrimp and the brussel sprouts. They prepare the sprouts with a glaze & topped with fresh Parmesan cheese. Yum! The salad is drizzled with a tasty vinaigrette dressing- it was amazing. The rest of our party had a cheese burger, fries, flatbread pizza, steak & frittes, beet salad, salmon with orzo and wings. The pictures speak for themselves! I come here for the Pastels party thrown every other Tuesday night because the crowd is beautiful and inviting and the music is always great. What a place of joy! I took my wife here for our first time on Valentine's Day. The location is located inside the Ponce City Market which is a great location all on its own. The venue is a pure delight! With its elegant french inspired decor, inviting happy colors, and large airy feel it is a joy just to walk in. The design makes you feel comfortable and elegant from the second you walk in. There are really three sections to this location... a true dinning area, a bar area, and then the area we sat in, a lovely bar/lounge like eating area. In my opinion there is not a bad seat in the house. Shortly after we were seated the show began. It was a drag Queen review that was filled with energy, excitement, more wardrobe changes then a Beyoncé concert, and unabashed enjoyment. My wife and I had a blast! It was fun! They were good and very self assured which made it electric and entertaining. We started with our food experience with a couple of drinks... of course mine was NA... "all that glitters is gold" and my wife's was a beautiful Valentine's Day treat filled with flavor and bubbles called "everybody say". The drinks were excellent. The menu is a culinary adventure. Be prepared this is not food intended for the meat and potato's crowd. It is an adventure meant to be explored by those who love flavors that sign opera while performing a high wire act. The food does not disappoint! We had a couple of appetizers... the mussels and the octopus. The mussels were soaking in the most delectable buttery sauce that made them so purely enjoyable I just could not stop eating them. Like Pringle's once I popped I just couldn't stop! The octopus was perfectly cooked and had this fantastic sauce that just made it sing on the taste buds. Every bite was a tremendous explosion of flavors that once it was gone we were truly sad there was no more. For our brunch meal we had the burrata and the French toast. Pictures say a 1000 words... look at the French toast. It was an award winning presentation that screams great taste. From the second it hit the table the flavors were imbibed in the beauty and perfumes wafting from the dish. The best part? It tasted even more fabulous then it looked! A culinary delight to be sure. The burrata was creamy and flavorful. It was very good and there was a lot of it! However it truly paled in comparison to the French toast. A pretty good dish on its own and if I had never had a bite of my wife's dish I would have loved it and raved about it... but the French toast stole the show. Our service was outstanding. This was by far the worst service I've ever experienced. Yes, the place is cute--but that does not make up for the service. My friend and I waited at the host stand for over 10 minutes while multiple employees looked our way and said nothing. We were finally seated only because a bartender noticed us, which I appreciated. After being seated, we sat for over 20 minutes without anyone coming by. When my friend asked the bartender if a server was supposed to help us, she rolled her eyes and simply said yes. LOVE Atrium! I dined here with a friend for a special birthday lunch last week while in Atlanta to take in the Atlanta Botanical Garden and a Braves game. Other friends had recommended that we check out Ponce City Market for restaurants and shopping, and so we walked there via the Beltline. We were really impressed with the big variety of food options in the market, but when we saw Atrium, with it's frosted windows, plush furniture, soothing color scheme, interesting murals, and really lovely menu, we were hooked. We were seated in the left side of the restaurant (if you are facing the hostess, the side with the large bird murals and no windows) and had great service from Dominique who was also serving 3 other tables and working the bar. We were there at lunch time on a Thursday afternoon, without a reservation, and had no trouble being seated. We ordered cocktails and lunch, and Dominique was great about making suggestions. Service was friendly, efficient and even gracious when we asked Dominique to take photos of us with our food and drinks. Food quality was very good. I had the mussels with toast points which was served in a coconut milk broth with chilies, scallions, pickled onions and a lime wedge. There were roughly 15 mussels in the bowl, all cooked properly and opened (i.e. no losers!). The broth was DELICIOUS and I drank every drop of it between the toast and a spoon. A great dish. My friend had the cobb salad. While there was a nice base of lettuces on the bottom, the salad was smothered in bacon and bleu cheese, almost like the kitchen accidentally dumped the container of cheese crumbles onto the salad and just served it that way; my friend liked the taste of everything but ended up wasting about half of the cheese because it was just too rich. The price point and serving size were both nice though. For drinks, I wanted a light prosecco-based cocktail with some St. Germain, but there wasn't anything listed on the menu, so I asked Dominique to make something and he did - it was a nice balance of prosecco and lemon with some St. Germain, just what I wanted. Overall, a lovely experience in comfortable seating, enjoyable food, excellent service - if I lived in ATL, this would be a favorite spot to return to! read more

The vibes here- off the charts. I came here recently for a drink on a Sunday afternoon with a friend. We really loved the atmosphere! :) The bartenders and hostess were all very nice and courteous. Our specific bartender was very knowledgeable about the drink menu and helped us pick our drinks based on our tastes. They have a pretty interesting menu! The drinks were great, the prices here are good, and the inside is beautiful. We even made a few new pals when we sat down at the bar. We stopped in for a late lunch, and sat at their gorgeous and expansive bar. Housed in one of PCM's most spectacular spaces, this spot has been meticulously decorated but doesn't feel too frou frou. We started with a couple martinis- the classic for her and the vesper for me, both of which were perfect and generous. If you're looking for beautiful ambience, and a great location, the Atrium is the way to go. Make sure you keep in mind that this restaurant is inside of Ponce city market next to William & Sonoma. When you first walk into the restaurant, you are greeted by an amazing host, and mesmerized by the beautiful decor. If you're just wanting bar service, I do recommend sitting at the bar it is most delightful or if you have dinner reservations, you can be seated. Upon being seated, you are approached by some of the best servers I have encountered. Our server Tiera, was very attentive, gave recommendations for a specialty dishes, and she was full of life, which gave the experience a whole new outlook. Now, when it comes to food, I must say I was so overjoyed. The lunch menu options along with the main menu was exceptional. The pricing was reasonable, and the food portions were enough to fill your belly. I would highly recommend the mussels. They were the main dish for my lunch, and it was definitely pleasing for the soul, eating everything in the bowl in its entirety. The specialty drinks are tasty and appealing to the eye. Overall, I would highly recommend this restaurant for lunch or dinner. Make sure you make a reservation because this is definitely a local hot spot for the summer time. I am super excited for my next visit to bring all my friends and family for the best experience in it's entirety. I'd be lying if I said I didn't head into this dinner with some skepticism, but it was still a disappointment. However, we had a large group right before Christmas and other plans inside PCM, so it just made sense to finally give Atrium a try. Food - the food was actually 3/5 stars... beet hummus, mussels, steak, burger, chicken, salmon, etc. None of us raved about any dish, but none of it was bad either - some had been before and thought there was some improvement in this aspect. Same goes for the drinks. Service - 1/5, this was the real fail from the moment we arrived to a nearly empty restaurant, but the hostess would not seat us until our entire party arrived (6/10 present at this time). Our server was so high pitched cheerful that it came off as the phoniest of interactions every time. It was also lacking in things like, waiting 10-15 min for steak knives and forgetting some of the appetizers. The restaurant was maybe 40% full the entire time we were there. We had informed her that one person had a gluten allergy - he ordered the tartare - it came after everyone else was done with their appetizers, and plated with bread! We asked, and her response was that they don't have gluten free bread... &$#!% In addition to that, when we asked the hostess to take a photo of us before leaving, she told us to wait then proceeded to walk to the back of the bar and take at least 10 photos for a group. Then she came back to her stand, ignored us waiting, and started talking to a group that had shown up without reservations. Ambiance - 2/5 - I thought this place was as established as being "very instagrammable" - although that's not usually my thing, I thought it would make for great birthday party photos.
