    I wanted oshi for dinner and have been meaning to try this restaurant for some time. We finally made our way here for dinner over the weekend. We were seated right away. Tea and water were dropped off. There was a QR code to view the menu. We ended up ordering salmon oshi, scallop oshi, sashimi salad, OMG roll, beef udon, CSA sashimi, hotate nigiri, and red tuna toro nigiri. It was a bit of a wait for the food to arrive. The restaurant was busy with take out orders. When the food finally arrived, everything was nicely presented. The salmon and scallop oshi were packed with flavour. The nigiris were fresh. The sashimi salad has a good variety of sashimi. I appreciate the ginger dressing was on the side so I can decide how much dressing to add to my salad. The rolls were made well. The beef udon had a good variety of toppings and was on of the better soup udon bowls I have enjoyed in quite some time. My complaint would the oshi rice was a bit soft and fell apart easily. For some reason, the rice was intact for the rolls and nigiri. Also, service was on the slower side. There was only one server working the floor and we had to ask her multiple times to refill our tea cups.

    As of July 2, 2022 - staff wear masks and sanitizer available at the front. Nice restaurant and is Korean owned. Really good flavours and I wish I tried more oshi. I enjoyed their chopped scallop one a lot! Also the pork Katsu don was so filling and perfectly flavoured. Bento box was good too but just very basic and classic (no qualms with it but nothing out of the ordinary either). I'd definitely come back to try the other oshi!

    Let's be honest It's hard finding a good quality sushi restaurant in Surrey. There aren't many and I can definitely say this ones a good one. I saw a friend eating the Oshi sushi and it looked really nice. Sooo I knew I needed to try. We ordered a few things for take out A couple of rolls/Nigiris Kabocha Croquette Salmon oshi Beef Oshi You definitely always gotta try the salmon Oshi when you're getting an Oshi. They have a nice selection to choose from. These oshi's looked too good to eat but, of course we ate them all. Really nice amount of rice to fish. I will definitely come here the next time I'm in the area again.

    We eat sushi weekly and know of quality locations. This week we decided to go into BC and continue our hunt for a worthy north of the border option. We enjoyed every piece of fish served and recognize the outstanding choices and knife skills, here. If our next visit proves consistent, we have a new favorite!

    Because I was craving for Salmon Oshi we found this place just a stone throw away from home. Well lit restaurant with spacious seating and nice ambience. Their food was awesome too from Ebi Mayo to their Beef Bento Box. I particularly love their Salmon Oshi, Ebi Mayo and Chicken Karage. Service was a bit slow but understandable because it was a busy Friday night. Reasonably priced too so we will surely be back!

    Really good food! The restaurant is clean and spacious. Staff are all very sweet and the service is very good.

I can taste fish based broth and egg custard was very silky and smooth. Decent amount of ingredients sush as shrimp, slice of fish , bean and shimeji mushroom. I wish they served it slightly cooler than too hot. Ankimo - Great item. Monkfish liver was rich and paired with scallop and shrimp so well. Sauce was just ok. Grilled black cod was another great item. Crispy and juicy, just perfectly done. Blue fine tuna was covered by salty marinated sauce which was great when wrapped with seaweed. Cooked egg was just ok Tenpura - Seafood stuffed vegetable was my favorite. Others were also decent. Highlight and stand out item was 9 pieces of sushi. Honmaguro(bluefine tuna) was good. Shari(sushi rice) was nicely seasoned with vinegar, very mild and which I liked it. Tuna was delicious. Sea breem(MADAI) was another good piece. Delicious. Aburi Toro was nicely seared. I wish this item could be a bit more softer and buttery, but it was still good. Akaebi(red shrimp) and Hokkaido sea urchin - Lightly torched the top of sea urchin and its smokiness brought out more sweetness flavor of Akaebi(red shrimp) Hokkaido Scallop - Very smooth, soft and nice texture. Delicious. Kinmedai(Gold eye snapper) -- My favorite. Texture was very soft and chewy, It was great item. Hokkaido sea urchin - Actually, this one was just ok. I wish it could be more creamy. Unagi - One of the best item. It was so fluffy and soft right after chef cooked and served. This is a must try item. Daily miso soup with clam - I can taste fish broth (dashi) flavor so well. Clam was delicious. It was good. Dessert - Kinako coated mitarashi dango -It was nicely chewy and soft. I wish there were more sauce on it. Overall, it worth visiting this place. The only problem is that so hard to get a reservation. Hopefully, I can get next reservation, may be next year.

Unfortunately, they have a 6-month wait and I was not prepared so I ended up booking it for our anniversary in May. The food was phenomenal and delicious! I love the chawanmushi loaded with goodies inside. The ankimo (monkfish liver) dish was so tasty with the scallop and prawn. Black cod was cooked to perfection! The nigiris are all so fresh. We quickly put ourselves on the waiting list for after September so we can come here again soon! There's a parking lot just next door. The place inside is small and intimate. Service is great!
