What a fabulous find...a casually elegant, quaint 5 table restaurant with gourmet food. The food is to die for!! A different menu every week. For example, I had seared duck breast with black rice and barley, hubby had halibut with asparagus, beets and rice...our friend Giorgio had pork bellie with charred octopus...we all had lemon curd for desert. Full plates, fancy food, great wine list, left full!! Mary the hostess is amazing...mention Sabrina recommended you!! I did not meet the chef...but food like this, who needs too? read more

Fantastic food and service, highly recommend. It's a small space but every dish on its rotating menu is made with thought and care, also one of the few restaurants in the area that flies in fresh fish for its menu read more

incredible experience.. exceptional service and a perfect flow to the meal. stated with mussels, goat cheese, main entry lamb chops and K4 ribeye. Awesome. clearly a first rate dining experience in Prescott! Will be back for sure. Chef Paul was friendly, humble and appreciative. highly recommended. read more

Fabulous birthday dinner. Family owned intimate restaurant. We sat at the bar and it was like a chef table experience, Started with the hamatchi appt. The Ono and Lasagna were so so good. Banana foster for desert was the best we have ever had. Attentive service all the way. A very special place. Reservations are a definite read more

Overbooked reservations. Wanted to put 6 of us @ the bar. No thanks! Will not eat there again.

Delicious fresh quality food. Amazing flavors. Yummy adult beverages. The fish and beef was cooked perfect. All served attentively with a smile. The open format kitchen where you can see Chef Paul prepare your meal from start to finish sets this restaurant apart from others. Smaller space and limited hours makes reservations a must. Worth it. Definitely on my list when we visit Prescott again. read more

So first of all, Atmesfir is definitely not CLOSED, as Yelp indicates! We had one night in Prescott and found Atmesfir online, but almost didn't go when we saw it marked as closed on Yelp. My husband called and left a voicemail, and they returned his call within 24 hours, confirming that they are definitely open for business. And boy am I glad we check - this was one of the best dinners we've had in Arizona, period (we live in Phoenix). The filet was beyond words. I've had lots of filets at fancy steak houses and cooked at home, but the Atmesfir filet is the thing dreams are made of. I'm drooling just thinking about it. Our favorite smaller plate was the special of the day - a sort of bruschetta with avocado and feta cheese. We tried nearly everything on the menu and everything was really tasty. I will say, the menu is small and a bit disjointed, with a mix of Asian flavors, Mexican flavors, and classic steakhouse flavors. But it tastes good and that's what matters most to me. The space is very small, and by the end we felt like we knew the staff and other diners, but in a good way! I definitely recommend Atmesfir for a nice night out in Prescott! read more

We were told they were reservation only at 745 pm when they're supposed to close at 9 pm. This is not on their website or social. If that's the case, then post it. read more

Well I have mixed feelings about the atmesfir in Prescott. This will be my third visit. My first two visits the food was so amazing. Everything was a step above your local restaurants. But today it wasn't as good. We ordered oysters that were super small and paid 3.75 a piece for them. Not worth it at all. My son ordered the prime ribeye and all though it was very good it was no better then a good steak I would buy at the grocery store. The wife had the lamb chops, and these were very good. I ordered the halibut fish and it was just basic, nothing special at all. 40 bucks for my fish and small amount of rice and spinach. I don't mind paying high for food that takes my breath away but today was just disappointing. So I'm not sure if I will come back. The food was hit and miss today. read more

Great meal for me and friend. Nice wine and good wait staff. Menu changes often but I like that

Absolutely incredible. I have eaten all over the country and this was one of the best meals I have ever had.

Paul's food since coming back, is amazing. His steak was the best I've had in forever. I loved his green bean even more. Loved the quail eggs and mustard vinaigrette on that! read more

They aren't open though they show open on Wednesdays. The menu looked great. Will try another time when I'm in town.

Food, okay. Meat overdone. Salad lacking. Service great. Ambiance left much to be desired. While dining, others waiting to dine stood inside near the door, disrupting the flow of our group's comfort and conversation. We do not hold these people responsible, rather, we hold the establishment to blame. Overall, the entire experience felt more pompous/ostentatious than enjoyable. We will spend future time and monies elsewhere. We encourage others to do the same. Such a shame. This was our family's Christmas celebration. read more

I'm a big fan of genuine service and delightful food options. The rotating menu is a bonus, in my opinion small rotating menus are a good idea for intimate restaurants. The staff here were friendly, helpful and hardworking. Handcrafted cocktails with most items made in house, the old fashion was a treat. My fiancé and I ordered just about everything on the starter portion of the menu. Check the photos! The steak entree was fantastic, salt crusted and tender. Cooked perfectly in front of our eyes (we sat at the bar) plated and served in two steps. The Chef was impressive, he handles the whole menu himself, food and deserts. Kudos! Looking forward to the new menu and stopping in to taste the local produce. Reservations needed so plan ahead folks. read more

Great food, but needs help in the customer service department. I'm basing my rating on 2 different experiences with the restaurant. My first experience there was 5 stars. I had never been to Prescott before, just in town to check it out w/my boyfriend. Happen to check out this restaurant based on Yelp reviews. The food was amazing and the service was just as great! The rest of our experience in Prescott was pretty lame, so was really nice to have found this gem so our trip/time there wasn't a total waste. Fast forward one year, not super impressed w/Prescott but it's on our way to Sedona, where we're headed for a few days, so decided to spend a night in Prescott JUST to eat at Atmesfir. Luckily, we thought ahead to try and make a reservation and found out that they've been closed since sometime in February when the head chef broke his leg. Now, I can understand needing to close for a few days or even a week or two to find an interim head chef, but it's now the beginning of May and the restaurant is STILL closed. This is not only a terrible disservice to their many (I'm assuming) customers, but I would think to their employees, as well. Not a great way to show that you care about the people who come to eat there or for those who work for your establishment. So this year Atmesfir gets 0 stars from me. Which averages my rating out to a 3. read more

Food was good, didn't get the atmesfir feeling, service not bad, but being a two top thought it would be more inviting!

We had a superb dInner tonight! Each of us had a goat cheese mouse appetizer.....soooo good! However, it was very large so we couldn't finish it all. One serving could easily serve 2 or 3 people. My husband had the Prime NY strip steak and I had the Half Rack of Lamb. Both, including the sides, were expertly prepared and pure perfection!! We passed on the yummy desserts, only because we didn't have room for another bite. The portions are large....sure to please everyone. Their wine, beer and drinks list looked interesting, although we chose not to drink tonight. We recommend that you try Atmesfir! It's truly superb and better that most, if not all of Prescott's restaurants! They will wow you with flavor and expertly prepared specialty dishes. The chef trained under Michelin chefs and has worked in James Barry restaurants. He stopped by our table to chat, shared cooking tips and answered all of our questions. It doesn't get any better than that! We are so fortunate to such expertise in Prescott!! Be sure to make reservations, as they are a small, intimate restaurant. read more

Wow! Menu, ambiance, and locally sourced food is an A+++ in our book. We stumbled upon this fabulous restaurant on a day trip from Phoenix for work. I can appreciate authenticity and chef that cooks with passion. Our waitress and host were energetic, kind and provided outstanding service. Our starter goat cheese and toasts were nothing short of amazing. We ordered the halibut and New York strip steak which left us both in our happy place. Not overly stuffed but just perfect. Thank you Amestfir for exquisite dining, we will be back! Ps. Highly recommend reservations. read more

I would give this place a 4.5/5, but since that's not an option, lead towards the 5 side. Prices reasonable for what you get. Goat cheese mouse app was delicious. My wife had the sea bass which she liked, just thought it could use a sauce. My ribeye was delicious. The potatoes and veggies were excellent. Very small place with only 6 tables and a few bar seats. Not a big deal, but this isn't really a kid friendly place. Would have been nice to know ahead of time. Not the restaurants fault, but unusual. We travel all over the world and our 8 year old is very well behaved, and we prefer nice restaurants. They don't have a kids menu. No kid options. My kid loves steak and chicken, but I'm not paying $60 for my kid to have a few bites of steak. He actually had ice cream when our entrees came out. Their menu is very limited (which is fine as they only use fresh ingredients), but nothing my kid eats. They did tell me that if we gave them a heads up when making a rsvp in the future, they could probably have something like pasta with butter ready. Overall excellent meal, except the kid thing, lol. Would definitely go back. Servers were both excellent. read more

Such a fantastic meal and the perfect way to end our day in Prescott! We shared: + Ricotta gnocchi with summer vegetables, speck, and parmesan fondue...such a delicious and lovely dish. It was bright, and flavorful with high quality, seasonal ingredients. + Prime 10 oz. NY Strip steak with confit potatoes and broccolini. It was OUT. OF. THIS. WORLD. It was simple, but the steak was beautifully cooked and seasoned, the potatoes had a nice crisp exterior, and even the broccoli was awesome. I mean, c'mon...who says that broccoli is awesome? Literally a perfect dish. + Dark chocolate mousse with vanilla Chantilly cream. A rich, velvety consistency and super chocolatey flavor... so basically, happiness in a cup. We were very impressed from start to finish. Love that the menu seems to change regularly using fresh, local ingredients. The hospitality and service was welcoming and accommodating, and we felt very at home and taken care of by the entire team. The restaurant was impeccably clean and had a very calm, minimalist (but not stuffy/pretentious) vibe. So happy to have stumbled across this little restaurant! Will definitely make a point to come back here again next time we're in town. read more

We had the best meal and the service was great! Best Halibut I've ever had ANYWHERE! Highly recommend this place!

amazing it's like you have your own personal chef. small and romantic and excellent food

Just can't say enough great things. Paul is a chef of chefs and Alicia is host of host! My wife had the Cobia and I had the Rib eye! Every bite had the flavor of each not over powering nothing bland. Every time I come to Prescott in tge future this will be our only dinner stop. The menu changes daily so we can't wait to come back! Try lemon curd desert too off a meal we will never forget! Hats off Chef great job! Salute! read more

My review rating is based on poor service, as the food was excellent. My husband and I have dined her several times and always enjoyed outstanding food. Previously we also had excellent service but our last visit the service was very poor. It took over an hour for our entree to be served, even though others who arrived after us were served before us within 20-30 minutes. The explanation was "we serve first come, first served". Clearly this was not the case. read more

Arguably the best food in Prescott. Expensive but absolutely worth it. Everyone working here deeply cares about this place and it shows. Great service. Excellent food. I'm recommending this restaurant to everyone I know. read more

Excellent food, great service. This is a win every time. Paul is an excellent chef and we always have fun.

Amazing food. Very intimate. Perfect for an anniversary date. It's a hidden gem. Every course is unique. Try every dessert.

Quiet setting with nice ambience for a special occasion. Only 6 or so tables with a bar for 4 in case you need to wait for a table. Definitely make a reservation. The food is far above standard in inventiveness and quality. The service is impeccable. They are short on wine choice but the wines are nice. Will definitely go again because a quality evening is worth the price paid. read more

After reading the great Yelp reviews I had to try this new restaurant in Prescott. Small but spacious, and located just off Courthouse Square. Atmesfir definitely lived up to the great reviews! The food is creative and delicious, and enough choices to keep you coming back to try everything. I had the chicken ravioli, which was perfect and just the right portion. I so wanted to try an appetizer, but had to save room for the beignets! The staff is welcoming and very friendly. So happy to have found such a great restaurant in Prescott, and I will definitely be eating there every time I'm in town. read more

We went to Atmesfir for the first time last night with some friends. We all had an amazing meal. It was done to perfection and very nicely presented. I had the lamb, which was delicious and the others had the sea bass and red snapper. Not one bite was left on anyone's plate! I would highly recommend this place. On a lark, I took a long detour to spend a night in Prescott and was delighted to find Atmesfir - supposedly the dictionary phonetic spelling of Atmosphere. Chef Paul, is extraordinarily creative and his food is outstanding. I had Mussels with Chorizo - an odd combination that was delicious - with perfectly-cooked mussels, and a nice Sauvignon Blanc, followed by a seared duck breast on a bed of beets, sweet potatoes and Swiss chard with an excellent Pinot Noir - both portions were overly-generous and the sweet potatoes were the stuff of dreams. The wait staff were attentive and engaging. It is a small place that will quickly develop a big reputation. read more
