Came here with a large party for a birthday celebration and had a great time. Service was spot on and really made sure we had a great night. Our table ordered pitchers of sangria which was very good. We received complimentary bread which was amazing, and a very good soup. I split the paella with my husband and we enjoyed. The portion size was insane, could have easily split it with three people if not more. We brought our own cake for our celebration and the restaurant was wonderful with helping us serve it, as well as with handling a large party in general. Our waitress was very attentive. Had the paelia. It was terrible. I was looking forward to it and was very disappointed.

Saw many high and low reviews, so adding in my 2 cents. We each ordered rodizo, which started with a white bean potato carrot soup, which was good. Rolls were harder than my personal preference but fine. Red sangria pitcher was large size and was good. They do put a 1.5L water bottle on table, which in reading others reviews I know I will be charged 5, but given it's cold and large, that's OK. I didn't try to ask for tap, as was ok with bottled water. Rodizo came quickly once we finished the soup. Chicken was a touch crispy/dry, but pork loin was fine. Top sirloin was well, I prefer med rare. Beef rib I had to cheat and pick it up to eat it. Cinnamon pineapple desert was great. What was outstanding was the service/attention, better than many restaurants I have been to. My guess is not alot of people ordered rodizo so the meat served to us was on/near the fire longer than ideal. It was a little warm in a restaurant, but we were sitting right next to the chef glass to watch them cook. They did have a portable fan to move air. People next to us got some amazing looking dishes, maybe we will try those next time. In honesty, creating a rating was hard, the meat was for the most part overcooked, but service was great.... would be 4 or more stars if meat was better. read more

Came here to try with a friend who had just moved to the area. We had reservations made which I would recommend on the weekends as the parking lot was packed. We arrived and waited maybe 5-10 minutes at the hostess stand waiting to be seated. Once seated our server took our drink menu and appetizer order right away. It had been some time and we noticed our table had not been brought bread. We had to ask a different server to bring us bread as our original server had seem to have vanished. We ordered the rodizio which we were all very excited for and two kid entrees. Normally any restaurant brings out the children's food prior to the rest of the meal as children get restless. Both the kids entrees were terrible the pasta was still hard and the sauce was super water downed. The chicken fingers and fries definitely were frozen and then fried, and has no seasoning or flavor to them. We waited maybe 45minutes to an hour before we addressed our server after our soup and appetizer were brought out asking what time we would be eating as two tables who came in after us had already eaten and received their checks. The servers then frantically made our food and brought it out but we're a tad bit rude, not sure why as our order was literally never put it. The food once it finally came out was good but nothing great for a rodizio. I'm not sure if this is a common experience, because our server seemed newish, or what the case was but it was enough to make me not want to even give them a second chance. No manager ever came out to apologize for our huge delay in eating. read more

The service took forever and with little ones it made it even worse. Our food (rodízio) started coming out an hour and a half later. When it did it wasn't what we expected. The chicken was dry and burnt while the rice seemed to be from another day (and was just reheated). Then come to find out the bottled water that was placed by the waiter (not requested) thinking this was the water for the table, we were charged for. By far the best restaurant in the Sparta/Ogdensburg area. Very nice atmosphere and high quality food. The rodizio is a must. Everything it comes with is amazing however the collard greens are out of this world. as well as the Tri-tips and bacon wrapped filet miñon. I've tried the stuffed salmon entree and the stuffed lobster entree which were both awesome, but nothing compares to the rodizio!!! read more

Celebrating my husband's birthday with my family extremely disappointed. Horrible parking. Very uncomfortable hot and sweating with little or no air-conditioning. The worst was the massive amounts of fruit flies going into our drinks and food. Horrible waiter, he wasn't friendly and didn't care. The food was adequate. Made a 630 reservation in hopes of good service... it was not too be. 651... no acknowldement, no water and no bread...all as we watched the tables around us get double service with a smile. I was highly disappointed with this establishment. I came with my two other adults and two children. We arrived around 730 and were sat quickly by the host, he was very charismatic. The server we had may have been new but he was kind and took our order immediately. The 3 adults ordered the rodizio and the children ordered chicken tenders and fries, and penne pasta in marinara sauce. It was 9 pm and the girls started telling us they were hungry which we made a comment to another server that we had ordered an hour and a half ago and the rodizio had kept walking past us and other tables that were sat after us were already leaving. The server didn't say anything and walked to our actual server, they spoke for awhile. Mind you we were seated by the kitchen in the dead center of the dining hall, it appears they forgot to send our order into the kitchen. You would have thought someone would have came to acknowledge the issue and apologize but instead another 20 mins went by without being acknowledged and then the rodizio started coming and the children's food came out. I understand things happen but the fact no one acknowledged the occurrence left us all with a bitter taste in our mouth. The pasta was not great, the marinara sauce tasted like the sauce that came with the pizza lunchables. The beans was mostly water, the sweet plantains were not ripe and had no taste. The fried yuca was dried, and as for some of the meats of the rodizio they still tasted too much like meat. We will not be coming back here unfortunately. read more

I wish I'd read more reviews.I would not have reserved a table if I had! I've never been treated so rudely as we were by this staff. I'd been to the restaurant before and had a wonderful experience, so suggested to friends that we go. This time was different. We arrived on time for our 5:30 reservation, the 'gentleman' just pointed to our table. Too far to walk I guess. That should've been my first clue. A few minutes later, he brought menus. The server brought over a plastic bottle of water for 6 of us to share (not nearly enough). We then received rolls, which were good. He came by several minutes later with soup (obviously canned). And then we waited. And waited. We had to stop him to ask if we could order drinks. And we waited. All but one individual eventually got their drinks, we had to tell the server that someone did not get their drink. 28 minutes after we arrived we had to ask if we could order our meal. We had to reach out more than once to ask about our food. We were told everyone's food was delayed because of the chicken I'd ordered. When one person said they ordered a salad as well, they were rudely asked' you want it now'? Like me they never heard from serving salad before the entree. 53 minutes later we hadn't received our food. We had another place to be and asked they bag it to go. Apparently that was our fault as well; we were supposed to tell them that we only had 90 minutes. Odd that wasn't an issue the last time I was there. Needless to say we won't be back, I refuse to pay that much money to be treated in such an insulting way. read more

Love this place! What can I add that I left out on my previous review. It's become a Christmas Eve tradition to order Paella De Mariscos from this restaurant for the past four years. On this occasion we celebrated in honor of my dad who's no longer with us and who also loved coming here for dinner. The waiting staff always courteous and attentive. The food speaks for itself or in this case to my belly and believe me that the conversation was long and beautiful. We were five for dinner and we went light on the appetizers cause the dinner tends to be plentiful. Fried calamari for all and a lobster bisque soup for my daughter. A lentil soup was also served with our entrees. The main course consisted of Lobster Ravioli with a marinara sauce, two orders of the stuffed salmon, a grilled salmon and a Chilean sea bass for moi. My daughter and I shared a peanut butter tartufo and my sis had the NYC style cheesecake to end the evening. 9-10-2019 never disappointed when eating here. It's been awhile since we've been back. We noticed a few changes in the menu, nothing major but my daughters favorite (lobster ravioli) was removed. The stuffed salmon was good as always but it wasn't served with the cream sauce as it had before. As it were everyone in our party enjoyed their meals and left with plenty of leftovers for tomorrow's lunch. read more

Must say we always had a great meal until 1/21/24. Ordered take out and spent 160.00 on four dinners and a kids meal. Both stuffed lobster dinners were just awful. It was all bread, No shrimp or scallops as described on the menu. Not even a morsel of either. Also, the lobster tail meat was missing as if it was scooped out for someone elses dinner!!!! I've had take out paella and some other dishes from them a few times over the past couple of years, as a family member really likes them and gets it catered. Never a problem and the food was fine. My husband and I decided to try going there for dinner last night. Thinking seafood was safe here, I ordered one of the most expensive items they had on the menu - twin lobster tails. As soon as it was served I knew something was off. Fishy smell and the shells they served it in looked like they had turned. A few bites in and a got an enormous ammonia smell. Couldn't finish the food... turns out that is a telltale sign the lobster was spoiled. Lucky I didn't eat more or I'd likely be very sick. I'll never go back or eat their food again. read more

Great dinner for 5 here on 8/20 and all of us loved it. Food was plentiful and delicious. Staff could not have been more helpful, friendly and accommodating. Unique grilled and roasted meat buffet - skewers brought to the table - was terrific. Owner introduced himself and was very nice. Atlantic Manor is great! The soup that comes complimentary with all meals is reminiscent of a soup my grandmother used to make-delicate with beans and potatoes-so delicious. I went here for a birthday dinner, and I wasn't looking forward to it since I'm not too crazy about Portuguese/Spanish food. However, the service was great, waitresses were nice, and prompt. I ordered the shrimp in garlic sauce, with spaghetti. It was EXCELLENT. The only con is that it's super oily and buttery, but still very good! We were served a lentil soup to start, which was delicious as well. Wasn't too crazy about the prosciutto and cheese, though, but I can't really be the judge since I'm not a fan to begin with. My family and I came back to celebrate my birthday all the way from Staten Island. Packed as usual, suggest make an early reservation. The noise level was tolerable. I guess I just ignored the noise because the food was sooo good. Again Atlantic Manor satisfied and met our expectations on food, service and welcoming. If all you are interested in portion size and not quality, then this is for you. Food was ok and service was awful. We sat right in the front, next to the host stand (and the owner was within 5 feet of our table). It was obvious we were not being taken care of. The waiter took a long time just to greet us. I tried giving our full order at the same time as our drink order. Unfortunately he was in such a rush he said "I will be back " basically, he was not able to take our full order then. We ordered appetizers when he came back with the drinks. It took another 30 minutes to get the appetizers. It wasn't until we were finished with the appetizers that the waiter even came back to the table and take our dinner order. The food also took a long time. People who came in after us, received their food before us. Our food finally came out. The waiter never stopped by the table again. I had to flag down another employee to help us. We waited again for the waiter to come back to the table. He took our dessert order and I asked for the check at the same time. He never came back again. I had to ask again for the check. We arrived at 6. Had no idea it would take so long.We did not leave until 8:40. 2 hours and 40 minutes for dinner. It is not fine dining with 5 courses. It was just absolutely poor service.
