Been wanting to come here for some time and since I had some family visiting, wanted to try something new with them. It was a Sunday afternoon and the place was packed but luckily we were seated promptly when we entered by the host. The place is bright with a lot of seating. Started off with coffee which was good. Ended up getting the two eggs with bacon, home fries and rye toast which was solid (not stingy with the bacon). The portion size was pretty big. My niece got the jalapeño burger which looked really good. I will be back for the burgers. * Parking lot on premise * Good service * Free refills on coffee

Hampton diner is OK. I would not make a special trip to come here but if I'm in the area again I would go back. I liked our server and how quickly the food came out. The diner was decorated beautifully for Christmas and it was inviting to sit in the booth and look at all the pretty lights and ornaments. I think the prices were a little high for the quality. Meals here cost more than at the other diners I go to but it's the same basic food. It was standard eggs sausage and hash browns, done correctly but nothing special. One little 6 ounce cup of decaf coffee cost $2.79 and there were no free refills.

There's so much to see as soon as you get to the door. There's an area for little kids. Video games. Oodles of vending machines that dispense toys & candy. ガチャ ガチャです An attentive host guided us to our booth. I really enjoyed seeing the desert case. All those amazing looking decorative cakes and desserts. Those precious black and white cookies tempting me. They had a delicious looking carrot cake, sinful looking cheesecake and rice pudding!! But I'm an adult and I'm supposed to eat my food first , right? I ordered a nice chicken avocado sandwich & And my friend ordered a grilled cheese sandwich. Two hot teas too! Our waitress Senya (Sonya?) was super sweet and super helpful and speedy. Couldn't of asked for a nicer waitress!! I would definitely like to come back. Next time I'll leave room for dessert!!

Excellent Greek salad

Best diner in the area. We have enjoyed several meals & always ask for the waiter John when we go as he is great with the service. Most recently we both enjoyed the Greek salad - chock full of goodies & everything is chopped. They give you plenty of anchovies & the stuffed grape leaves are delish. Our neighbors go here often & always have a great meal. I like that they have a full bar for when I want a drink at dinner. Plenty of parking!

We were a group of nine who have been camping and host accommodated us very quickly. We were all hungry and the diner food was great! I meant to take a picture however we were so hungry that we ate it all so quicky. Sidenote wouldn't say potato's are their strong suit since the french fries and home fries were just alright. However everyone's meal really hit the spot!

Chicken Slovakia

Rolling through the area for deliveries and needed to eat. I was able to get my truck in the parking lot. We ordered chicken Slovakia platters. Nothing to complain about. Delicious and so was the beef barley soup. Great waiter and beautiful restaurant.

The Farmer's Daughter - Swordfish with grilled pineapple

The Farmer's Daughter

Once you enter through the store, there is a sign to wait to be seated. The place has a nice and bright rustic vibe to it. I really liked the decor and table setup. Even the napkins had a rustic vibe. Started off with the potato scoop ($16) which was my fave item. The potato was shaped like the Fritos scoop chip, and the cheese dip that came with it had chunks of cheese in a melted cheese sauce. For my main, got the pulled pork sandwich ($16), which came in a pretzel knot bun and creamy slaw. It was solid meal and very filling. Other mains ordered were the roast beef "pho" style sandwich ($16) which I had a bite of and it was good and not what I expected thinking roast beef. Roast turkey ($16) was warm and also tasty. Each of the mains came with a side of potato salad. I will be back to try the sloppy Joe and their dinner meals. I highly recommend this place if you want tasty, high quality meal for a fair price. * Highly recommend making reservations on weekends * Street parking * Good service

It's a clean, open space with a decent amount of seating. The temperature is usually on the colder side, and I wouldn't say it is overly cozy. I've ordered here with some frequency over the last few years, usually when I am out running errands. I'd say the food quality is mediocre, and the prices have ballooned to levels I would say are prohibitive to the average consumer based on the amount of food you're getting. I ordered a grilled chicken wrap with mozzarella, balsamic, roasted red peppers, etc. the other day and was surprised that it was $17. For a smallish wrap, it's really too costly. The cafe throws in a bag of chips, but I've never asked for one. You can get a very similar (larger) sandwich at A&G Pizza in Branchville for $4 less. I'm not sure why the consumer would want to pay 30% more for less quality, outside of the fact that there are no other cafes or delis in the immediate area. The Hampton Diner, which is notorious for being expensive (but good quality) has a similar wrap called the California which is also somewhat expensive at $15, so I'd guess that's what Serendipity is basing its prices on. I realize all food prices are inflated right now, but Serendipity should be charging $12 max for its wraps, and based on the size, they're not far off what you're getting from Quick Check at half the price. At the cafeteria near my job, it's $8 for a wrap. I'll still check in from time to time at this cafe, but the prices are pushing me away.

Welcoming lobby with tea themed gifts to purchase set the tone for your awaited tea service. Staff is family friendly and so attentive making sure your coats are hung and your comfort is addressed. We enjoyed a mid morning seating on a cozy winter Saturday. The tea room, a converted front parlor room of the house is decorated with charming English nods to the queen and tea. About a half dozen tables are set with crisp linen and china. Menu is simple and straight forward. I highly recommend the Tea for Two, or the deluxe version of this if you're really hungry! Tea offerings are plentiful and loose tea brewed. Very authentic! We each got a different flavor of tea under the advice of our wonderful server Dana! Because tea pots are bottomless we were able to sample and share a variety! Highly recommend their Windsor blend as well as the peppermint teas. Soup and quiche of the day were delicious to say the least. Warm creamy tomato bisque and fluffy broccoli cheese quiche started us off. Followed in a timely but not rushed second course of a three tiered tea plate filled with perfectly executed sandwiches, scones with clotted cream and jam and dainty bite size sweet treats. Crustless, finger sandwiches were filled with creations like the Queen's coronation chicken salad, egg salad, and apple cheddar salad, strawberry cream cheese and cucumber slices. Heavenly! Fresh baked scones were light and fluffy inside and buttery and lightly crisp on the outside. Dainty sweet treats included butterscotch mousse, salted caramel macrons, butterfly tea cakes and caramel chocolate shortbread. Portions are plentiful but not overwhelming. We each took a small box of a few bites that weren't able to be finished. Overall we can't say enough good things about this lovely hidden gem right on Rt 15. It was worth the hour drive and every penny spent. We're looking forward to coming back and enjoying this tea house and their lovely staff many more times in the future.

The tea was good too although I couldn't finish mine since there was so much of it lol. Maybe they can think about having to go cups? Or if they do offer them at the end of service. The scones were so good! They also have a little bakery when you first walk in which is nice. Great customer service as well.
