Stopped into Angelo's for brunch as it seemed to be the only eatery opened on Christmas Day in the area. Upon arrival, we were greeted warmly by the hostess and by other staff members. Our server, Nelly, gave us plenty of time to review the bountiful menu. When we asked if the chicken noodle soup was salty, she was so kind as to bring us a tiny cup for us to sample , which prompted us to order since it was well flavored, and filled with chunks of chicken. Other dishes we ordered were the BBQ wings, vegetable omelettes, and avocado burger. Our party very much enjoyed everything we ordered and they didn't skimp on the portion sizes. Even the adults couldn't finish the vegetable omelettes with home fries/fruit and toast, and had to doggy bag. The amount of avocado on the burger was outrageous; looked like they served a whole fruit's worth. And Nelly was the perfect server, coming by occasionally to check in on us, and refilling our coffee. So happy we came across this gem of a diner.

Staff was new and trying their best. Food was poor. I had the Chicken Basket Combo. I received 2 pieces of overpriced chicken and 2 wings instead of 4 pieces. I received 1 biscuit instead of 2. Took a picture to show the manager. He told me he would "talk to the kitchen." He did not offer another biscuit nor another FULL piece of chicken. He did give me 10% off the one meal. See pictures attached.

If you don't want your entrées coming out with the appetizers, just give them a heads up, because the kitchen moves fast here. We started with the mushroom dish and a hearty soup...both full of flavor and the perfect start to the meal. Then came the star of the night: the lamb chops. Perfectly seasoned, cooked just right, and melt-in-your-mouth good. Everything we tried was fresh and satisfying, the kind of food that makes you want to go back the next day. The service was on point- Friendly and attentive, and the whole space has this quirky, cozy feel, like you're sitting in your grandma's living room with its mix of chairs and warm, homey vibe. It's also BYOB, which is always a win. We brought a bottle of wine that paired perfectly with the meal. Overall, Butcher's Grill is a must-visit if you're in the area. Great food, quick service, and a cozy atmosphere that makes it stand out. Can't wait to come back!

Olluco offers homemade bbq, and some extras that will make you happy. The prices are decent too. For me, traveling with the kids is always tough because eventually you need to find real protein.....they can't survive on pizza and hot dogs for very long. We came here and got the chicken and Peruvian fried rice. The rice had great flavor and lots of veggies(peppers, zucchini, etc...). The chicken was seasoned PERFECTLY and so tender, like even the breast was juicy! We also got ribs and they were fall off the bone!! Yes finally, ribs that are seasons with a delicious rub(no need for sauce) and also fall off the bone tender. Yummo!! The place is very shack-esc lol...there's no decor and maybe 2 tables and a bar too. You can dine in but really it's more of a takeout joint, and that's OK! You can also grab drinks from the cold case. No fountain unfortunately. This is my new stop, I HOPE they stay in business so please give them a try my local Sussex friends!

From the second you walk in, it's like you're in Mexico... but in NJ... it shouldn't make sense, but it does. The dining chairs are all handcrafted in Mexico and imported. They're gorgeous. The staff is friendly and greets you right when you walk in. Once seated, you get chips & salsa - 100% homemade and super delicious. We also got 2 Modelos, because when in Rome-xico? For lunch, we decided to share.... - Fresh Guacamole: Incredibly fresh doesn't even begin to describe the intense flavor and brightness of this guacamole. It has the perfect balance of avocado, jalapeño, onion, tomato, cilantro, and lime. - Molcajete: The CROWN freaking JEWEL of this place. Served in a pig-shaped Molcajete (traditional mortar and pestle carved from volcanic rock)... you get skirt steak, chicken, pork chop, mexican sausage, & grilled shrimp... with queso fundido, bell peppers, cactus & jalapeño. On the side, you get rice, beans & tortillas. Yes -- you get all the food. I HIGHLY encourage you to share it - it's that much. BUT... it's SO. FREAKING. GOOD. It was the never-ending meat bowl but it was insanely delectable. You just have to trust me. Try it. You're welcome.

She let me try one of the seasonal beers but it wasn't for me. I opted for a Stella instead. You can't go wrong with a Stella draft. Hubby ordered a Guinness because he loves them. When you walk in, it's more of a pub area, tall tables and a happening bar. We asked to sit in the dining room which was bigger than I thought. There was another bar which seemed crazy but I could only imagine what this place would be like on St. Patrick's Day. I asked our server which she would choose between the Guinness Beef stew or the shepherds pie. She beamed and said the Guinness beef stew. It was amazing! The sauce was perfection, the beef was so tender and the mashed potatoes the perfect was to soak up the sauce. My husband was jealous he didn't get the same. Before dinner, he got the mushroom soup which brought him great joy. He also liked his choice of chicken Murphy. He enjoys the peppers, potatoes and two huge chicken breasts with a delightful sauce. Of course we took food home because there were such big servings. Hubby wanted coffee which was not the freshest but it was 7:30. It was ok because the dessert was one of the most delicious things I've ever had. The server suggested the restaurant's specialty - Banoffee Pie: A homemade trish dessert. Cookie crumb base, homemade toffee, sliced banana & fresh coffee cream. Omg, the cookie base was is made in-house.
