Thanks to Yelp, we again found a wonderful place to eat during our Boston trip. Boston has been famous with its seafood and this place was a top choice. We ordered clam chowder soup and sea bass chowder as starters. Both of the soups were delicious. I probably have had the best clam chowder soup ever. After the soups, we enjoyed our lobster ravioli and lobster roll a lot. Lobster ravioli comes in a big plate and roll comes with french fries. At the end, we had the chocolate cake which was heavy (even for 2 people), but yummy! The service was great and very friendly. The prices are reasonable as a seafood place, definitely recommended. read more

Spectacular service. Prompt, concise, attentive but never obtrusive. Food was great! 8/10. Portions are generous. Prices are far less than I anticipated. $10 for a glass of wine, surf and turf for only $39. read more

I wanted Clam Chowder (Chowda) on my recent trip to Boston and this place had good reviews and looked nice so I tried it. Fantastic. The bread that comes while you wait for your food was warm and delicious, the clam chowder was amazing and I loved the bread bowl. I also shared a goat cheese and raspberry salad that was also very good. In addition to loving my food, I also appreciated that my lunch for 2 was under $20 (before tip). Obviously this place is white table cloth and price is less of a factor when deciding where to go, but as a graduate student, I always appreciate a great meal at a good price. read more

Average to good seafood restaurant. Nothing to brag about, nothing to wow you either. For me, it was almost like another Legal Seafood. Tasty but not the best. I was here for a business meeting and my experience was average. Did i say my overall rating for this place is AVERAGE? read more

Have to admit that I was a bit skeptical that a place like this was going to live up to the hype. And when we tried to get reservations, it was booked on Friday night. But we were seated fairly quickly by the bar and the bartenders were awesome. Very friendly, helpful, and great service. We had a good share of drinks. But the food was delicious. The tuna tartare was very fresh and a nice balance with soy sauce. As for the other dishes, our fish was so flavorful. A lot has been said elsewhere, but I would definitely go back again when staying in the Copley Square location. read more

Hotel clark recommend here for sea food. It was not clouded around 12) my company order different,1 is restaurant week, 1 is lobster roll. Me ? Atlantic Fish - Tasty lobster bisque ! - Seafood Near Me - Boston, Massachusetts

Top notch experience. Timely seating on a packed night with a reservation, great service and recommendations. The House martini was unique and tasty, while the lobster fra diavolo (shell out) was light, yet filling. More than fairly priced given the quality/experience. read more

The service was great, and we lucked out and got 2 seats at the bar on a Friday night. We would have had to wait 2 hours for a reservation. Of course, this place has a lot of reviews. Well, the staff is excellent (which got them to three stars), but the food was disappointing! My mom really wanted to try a good seafood joint and loves her lobster. For the price we paid, it wasn't amazing. The mussels were HUGE, but the last part was chewy on every piece. I'm not a fan of red sauce on mussels, more of a garlic wine sauce. The sauce however still wasn't flavorful enough for me. They do really know how to make their own bread in house. The best bread w/ butter i've had in awhile and compliments with your order. Fish and chip - bleh. Sort of mushy!! The fries were also not tasty. I did notice they had menage a tois on the menu - I never see that wine in restaurants. If you come, make a reservation, taste it for the reviews. However, I don't see myself coming back again. read more

Really good food. We enjoyed everything we had here. We had fish and chips which was light, crispy and tasty. We had the lemon chicken and it was very tasty. We had sole which was very good. The mashed potatoes were wonderfully creamy! To top it off I had peppermint stick ice cream! OMG my favourite flavour of all time! So needless to say we love this place. read more

Atlantic Fish - Did I mention how delicious the peppermint cake is! OMG. - Seafood Near Me - Boston, Massachusetts

Outstanding. A stop on our Boston Reunion We were a group of 18. 18! We made our rez about 3 months in advance, but we still had to have two tables. They were fantastic on all aspects of the service side (we were a cooperative 18), but 18 none-the-less. We had a variety of dishes, and nine bottles of varied wine. They had a team serving our tables. They could not have been more accommodating and more professional. Oh, and the food was top-notch. Many had the specials, which I recommend. We'll be back. read more

First off, get reservations. Wonder Wife ordered lobster bisque and I ordered the clam chowder. The clam chowder was basically perfect. The lobster bisque was odd... can't quite figure out the flavor there, but it was just a little off. We sent that back and got clam chowder instead. For the entrée, I ordered the captain's platter and she had blackened salmon. Everything on both plates were delicious and cooked perfectly. For dessert, I ordered cheesecake while Wonder Wife ordered the crème brulee. The flavor of the cheesecake was good, but the texture was just weird. It was kind of mealy. The crème brulee was pretty good, but not stellar. Neither of us finished our desserts. The service was very, very good. Our waiter was pleasant and attentive. read more

Came on for lunch after a convention as it was across from the Hynes. Ordered the missed oysters on the half shell, tuna tartar and grilled calamari. The oysters were good but not great, several had no liquid left as they were improperly opened and the mignonette could have used a bit more flavor. The calamari was tasty with plenty of grilled flavor and tossed with hot peppers and served with a zest marinara. The tartar was fresh and served with crispy wontons but needed more flavor as it was somewhat bland. Service was attentive and the décor and music were great. Perhaps the entrees would have been better. read more

The only thing that redeems this place is their clam chowder. It's creamy, delicious, with fresh tasting clams, and is worth a trip by any tourist. However, everything else is at most average. The lobster ravioli? Uninspiring. The crab cakes? They were good but not memorable. Not to mention that the service really isn't up to standards for the premium atmosphere they try to exude. I don't know. I come from a seaside city and am a self-proclaimed seafood snob, and I find myself preferring some of the legal seafoods locations. read more

I'm so happy we stumbled upon this place during our trip to Boston. Yes, the food, drinks, and ambiance were great, BUT I attribute most of our night to our incredible server, Randy. After a short wait late on a Saturday night, Randy shared the menu with us and some of his favorite dishes. Nothing was rushed and each course was enjoyed. Our fried halibut and seared scallops were delicious. The sides of spinach and crushed red potatoes were great compliments. All the while, Randy was the best. This place is a must if you're in town and looking for fresh, quality seafood at a fair price. read more

Once again, I was impressed with Boston's dining scene. For our anniversary, my wife and I ate at Atlantic Fish Company. The staff is so well seasoned, they looked like a Swiss watch. Jim was our waiter, and he made our evening unforgettable! We ordered the Chilean Sea Bass with lobster ravioli! Oh my, what a treat. I would order that every time. One of the best dinners I have experienced in a long time! This restaurant is a must when visiting Boston! Wow! read more

This place has good service but I find the food to be mediocre for the price you're paying for it. I ordered a lobster roll and I couldn't really taste the fresh lobster because it seemed overdressed in a bunch of other ingredients. Perhaps steer clear from the lobster roll because there are better options in the Boston area. But I should mention that the bread they have is very good and sometimes I wonder what it means when the bread they serve is better than the actual entree? read more

What a gem - 10/10 espresso martini, amazing lobster risotto. Atmosphere is amaaaaazing. What a spot

Great atmosphere and service. Food was uneven. Clam chowder was awesome, lobster roll and lobster bisque lobster meat was a tad overcooked. Cod sandwich was delightful. Good beer selection with fresh draft lines, read more

If I could give four and a half stars, I would. Few places are perfect, but Atlantic Fish is really close. The Fra Diavolo is just spectacular. The word succulent comes to mind when thinking of the seafood and the added spice is just right, not too hot and a even a bit sweet. So good! Don't miss their fried oysters and one of the best lobster rolls anywhere. read more

I was impressed with the interior. It was cozy, sleek, but not over the top. We got seated right away to a high top table for two across from the bar and our server Margaret was prompt and nice. The bread basket came and the white bread was so good. Warm, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Mmmm, bread and butter. Since we couldn't decide what to eat we just started with a small clam chowder and it was pretty good. Creamy, clammy, potatoey, and flavorful! But man, $5 for 4 oz cup. And then we got the fried oyster roll ($12) and the captain's platter ($24). Awesome fried seafood that came with actually good coleslaw. I continued to eat the white bread because I just couldn't get enough. Anyways, the fried oyster roll had a good amount of oysters and a good dipping sauce, the roll was nicely toasted, (check the pics!) while the captain's platter had an okay amount. I was kind of expecting a few more pieces of fried seafood on the platter, but everything was perfectly breaded and fried. The fries were good too, they were kinda on the short side but crispy. Definitely going to come back to try other things on the menu because the food, decor, and service were great! Edit: My initial review just doesn't give my experience justice. So I'm coming back to say my lunch experience was all I could ask for. Yes, that bread is damn good. Food came out promptly and done well, service is great for such a busy place, and the atmosphere/decor is a great setting for anything. read more

Best lobster bisque abs the bread they serve with it is to die for. The best winter lunch in the city

Good food, but not the very best I've had, for the price. The price is on the high side!! At a lower price point I would have given them 5 stars. I do have to say I was very impressed with their kid's menu - it was sizable and they had lots of tasty options for the kids. The restaurant gets busy (even on a Wednesday night), and while the wait staff was professional and very good, they did become sparse when the patronage volume went up. read more

Had dinner here yesterday for the 2nd time in the last month. It was my mother's birthday and I was really disappointed at where we were seated since I had given note (from quite a while back) that it was my mother's birthday. We were seated at the first booth by the entrance. It was quite crowded so at certain points, people were literally hanging in our booth as they were waiting for their table. All the food was enjoyable, however, there were a few mishaps. I won't mention them here and put the restaurant on blast because the manager and our server took care of us 100% and my mother really enjoyed everything in her meal. I had to drop a star due to all the mishaps that occurred throughout the night, however, their service still is 5 stars to me. I truly love and appreciate Atlantic Fish Co.'s impeccable service. read more

I came here with some friends last weekend and loved every part of our experience! First, the food was amazing! - Bread basket: A variety of bread! Warm and toasted. Yummy! - Appetizer: We got the special of the day: steamed calamari with balsamic vinaigrette over toasted baguette. My favorite part of our meal! The calamari was perfectly steamed and the baguette was very crispy. I wish they had this on their permanent menu. -Entrees: We shared the seafood fra diavolo, seared ahi tuna, and crab crusted haddock. Everything was delicious. My fav was the seafood fra diavolo. It is a spicy seafood pasta with chunks of tomatoes. Very flavorful and has plenty of seafood! The ahi tuna was pretty good, but nothing particularly special. The haddock was also very good and the potatoes on the side was well seasoned and cooked. The service was on point as well. Our waiter was attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. Very impressed by Atlantic Fish! I will return again! read more

Such a great way to kick off our trip in Boston! We arrived at 5:15 and were able to snag a table in the bar area. The line and bar became busy fast, so make a reservation if you don't want to eat like old people. (We were perfectly content with this strategy) The interior was nice. I made Josh put on a pair of khakis, but he would have been comfortable in shorts. The service was good and very friendly. (Do I wish she had a thick Boston accent, yes, but I cannot dock her for that) The food: Josh started with a dozen oysters. He enjoyed them, but I cannot comment further. We both had a cup of lobster bisque. It was excellent. A bit thinner than others I have had, but perhaps all the other places were doing it wrong and this is the real deal. I had the lobster roll based on other Yelpers recommendations. It was the best one I have ever had...and the only one. The fries weren't that great, so you may want to see if you can substitute for an alternate side. Red velvet cake for dessert was just okay. I would try something else next time. All around a great experience! Be prepared to spend some money if you're going for more than soup. read more

I could write psalms extolling the virtues and wonders of Atlantic Fish but I feel that even that wouldn't be enough. I could tell you that I spent a month up in Boston on business and had to figure out where to have most of my meals. You guessed it. Atlantic Fish. Now, I can say this. Not one meal. Not, one, meal I had at Atlantic Fish was bad, underwhelming, mediocre or subpar. Not one meal was bereft of anything. Anything! I can say this with absolute conviction because I've had everything on the menu. I'm dead serious ladies and gentlemen. I had *everything* on the menu. Remember, a month is a loooong time to be stationed somewhere on business. Had breakfast, lunch and dinner to plan out. 95% of them were here. I could go into each individual dish themselves in a blow by blow fashion, but I won't. That would require far too many paragraphs; and we both know you won't read that far down. Short of that let me say this. Get the warm bread with butter. Get anything on the daily seafood menu. Any way you want. Pan seared, blackened, broiled, baked. They do it all. Use olive oil, or butter or something else. They'll accommodate you to the 9th degree. Get the desserts. They're all fantastic. The peppermint ice cream pie is my favorite. It's contributed to 5lbs of added fat on my waist line, but god is it great! If you're by the bar, ask for Tien or Sophie. I can say unequivocally, they were the most helpful, kind, outgoing and genuinely awesome people I got to know during my time in Boston. People can say what they want about staff when they dine out, I can say this, A++ on customer service here! read more

A model of consistency, quality and excellent service. It's an expensive table, but it's worth it. Lobster ravioli, mango martini, so good!

The food here is amazing! It's fresh, seasoned to perfection and cooked just right. Even the clam chowder had a little bite to it which was a nice change from regular clam chowder. The scallops were sweet and fresh with the perfect caramel sear. The chef Richardson is truly an artist and knows his seafood. All the employees here are friendly and helpful. My parents came to visit for a weekend and wanted to get their fill of New England 'must eats' before returning home. According to fellow Yelpers and Open Table users, this place has fantastic ratings. I would have to agree with all of those peeps! This place is pretty darn fantastic. When I walked in, I felt like I was walking into some fancy AF restaurant and worried that I was a little under dressed in my jeans and oversized cardigan sweater. But fear not! This place is very welcoming and kind of feels like home. Also, they bread basket and butter are mouthwatering. Eat as much of the bread as you can plz. Our server was fantastic. I wish I remembered his name because I'd totally give him a shoutout of happiness. He was very attentive and made lots of funny jokes with us. The food was so so so delicious. Even though I'm not a tourist, I definitely played one with the parentals and got a bread bowl of clam chowder. I'm not the biggest clam chowder fan, but theirs will change anyone's mind. So thicky and creamy! It was so good that I ate the entire bread bowl to get every ounce of chowder joy in my mouth. To continue the Bostonion foodie adventure, we shared a Boston creme (cream?) pie. Either way you spell it, it was delightful. read more

My son flew me out to Boston to visit him for Christmas in 2021 and surprised me with a delicious Lobster dinner for my birthday on the 27th. The atmosphere was very nice; classy but casual. It was clean, quiet and everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves. Our waiter, Daniel was really friendly and did a great job of recommending some things, like the Crab Louie which was presented beautifully...like a piece of art! It was fresh and light and oh, so good! Of course, I missed getting a photo, but I highly recommend it. The lobster was delicious; just what I had hoped for. Cody talked me into trying the clam chowder (I've never had it before) so I'm so glad I did. It was very tasty. Everything was delicious. Cody's steak was cooked to his liking (MR) and almost melted in your mouth. I highly recommend this restaurant. It's a little pricey, but you don't eat steak and lobster every day! I was glad to be treated to such a nice evening. Thanks Codes! read more

This place is just OK, but I came here on Thanksgiving Day so I'm feeling more generous. Ambience was excellent. Lively, busy, but not too crowded. Great wine selection. I made reservations 2 weeks in advance but they sat us right by the door and we experienced a cold draft the entire night. I assumed by planning ahead we could be seated in a decent area. Grilled Calamari - very tasty but nothing special. If you want killer calamari hit up Marcos in the North End. Pan Seared Sea Bass with Lobster Ravioli - sea bass was phenomenal. Cooked to perfection and the presentation was lovely. However, I've had better lobster ravioli (*cough*Rinos*cough*) Clam Chowder - one of the best chowders I've had in the city. I ordered the lobster and it was delicious. It was their specialty, so I forgot the name if it. But it had a tomato based sauce with shrimp, scallops, and veggies. It was fresh and hot. It could literally feed about three people people. Parking is limited....be careful because they ticket heavily in that area. Parking is expensive but less than the cost of a ticket...so pay for parking. Worth visiting if you are in town. read more
