    Lobster Crab Louie

I would say it's best to make a reservation. The decor and ambiance were both nice. There is indoor and outdoor seating. I ordered The Louie.! Could've eaten two because it was soo good. The food was delicious, came out fast, hot and very well seasoned. They do provide complimentary warm bread before your meal. There is also a nice drink menu. The waitress (Morgan or Megan) was simply amazing! Not only was she helpful, pleasant and warm to me, I watched as she provided the same exceptional hospitality to the other tables close by.

Returned after almost four years--and it was even better than we remembered. The restaurant has an elegant, upscale seafood and steakhouse vibe, and everything felt seamless from the moment we walked in. We arrived early for our 5:30 reservation and were seated right away. Service was outstanding. Roque was attentive, polished, and genuinely five-star throughout the evening. Complimentary warm bread with delicious butter arrived right away--always appreciated. We started with an espresso martini--smooth, well-balanced, and expertly executed, with rich espresso flavor, a subtle touch of sweetness, and a velvety, creamy foam. The roasted beet and goat cheese salad was fresh and nicely dressed, and the Jr. Captain (crispy shrimp, calamari, and haddock) was perfectly prepared. For mains, I had the crab custard haddock with mushrooms on the side--rich, flavorful, and cooked just right. My husband ordered the Faroe Island salmon with mashed potatoes and garlic sticky rice, and everything on his plate was equally well prepared. Every dish was thoughtfully executed--you can truly taste the quality. We left completely satisfied--great food, exceptional service, and a beautiful setting. It's the kind of place that reminds you why you love dining out--we'll definitely be back.

Steakhouse type decor and feeling. Staff was friendly and the food was good. Some dishes better than others. More of a special occasion restaurant.

Great lunch spot downtown! Enjoyed my experience. Super tasty seafood. Lots of flavor in the pasta. I ate every bite.

i thoroughly enjoyed my first lunch at atlantic fish with polina providing excellent service. she warned me that their bread is addictive, and she was right! i ordered the violet 75 paired with the chilean sea bass & lobster ravioli. the sea bass was so tender and perfectly cooked, the combination of the lobster ravioli and sauce is so unique, you must try it, and thank you for a great recommendation from polina. i visited a second time, sat at the bar for a bit to wait. bartenders were great. when i was seated at a table with a friend, i thought they took a very long time to deliver the food after we ordered, and didn't really check in, at all. i ordered the same chilean sea bass, and it was a smaller portion of fish and didn't taste as good as the first time, not sure if ratios were off on a thursday night. my friend was not happy with their crab cakes which were overdone & overpriced for the meal. it came with corn pudding? they wouldn't even touch it, i tried a bite and i have no idea why that's even an option on the menu. way to ruin a dish, completely. first visit violet 75 10/10 bread service 10/10 chilean sea bass 9.5/10 second visit violet 75 10/10 bread service 10/10 chilean sea bass 7/10 crab cake entree 4/10 corn pudding 0/10 (who did this!?) atlantic fish co. is a hit or miss for great seafood in back bay. i thoroughly enjoyed my first meal here, but when i recommended it to a friend, it left more to be desired the second time around. ambiance: 4.5/5 food: 5/5 first visit, 2.5/5 second visit drinks: 5/5 service: 5/5 with polina, 2/5 second visit atlantic fish co.: 3.7/5

Steakhouse feel but replace meat with seafood. Came here for lunch over the weekend and it was not too loud, but also not empty. The service and food were great. Honestly the butter for the warm bread was delicious. Yes, the entrees and clam chowder were delicious, but I legit think about the butter...

Cam! Cam, you did it. You managed to get me to find the best New England Clam Chowder in Boston. Am I exaggerating? Maybe. Slightly. Without a doubt this side of San Francisco, this clam chowder in a bread bowl may be some of the most hearty and flavorful New England has to offer. It really is something to order. The Maine Lobster Roll is good but unfortunately that is all it is. It is overdone with mayonnaise and other flavors that they seem to have forgotten the lobster is the star. I could not enjoy this roll as much as I would have liked. It is also served with fries, which sticking to my new American principles, only ate five before quitting. My server, Kate, was a pleasure and was knowledgeable about the food. She earns my gold star of the day. I recommend but go easy on the menu please.

Oh wow !great food, great service and so close to our hotel !! so twice in one day and both strikes were absolutely scrumptious. In a town where there are so many options I'm so glad I kept it simple because this experience was sensational. Not only was our server, friendly, funny, knowledgeable, and graceful, but she was honest. Everything she recommended was exactly as expected, and I could not recommend this restaurant more pictures to follow.

Beautiful restaurant! All staff are very professional, polite, and very kind. Reviews lived up to the hype and we ended up going a little a crazy on the ordering. We started off with oysters, clam chowder, and a lobster roll to share. We did have high expectations for their clam chowder but we were disappointment. Lobster roll was good but would have preferred a hot butter option instead (would love to see them add it to the menu). Apps aside, the star of the show were the entrees. I ordered the homemade lobster and scallop ravioli and they were amazing! So happy to see that this place didn't skimp out on their portions or flavor. Every piece was nice and heavily filled. My partner really enjoyed his steak with the garlic sticky rice and mushroom sides. All very tasty - we would definitely come back again!

Wonderful Boston seafood restaurant for both visitors and locals. It feels authentic, modern yet traditional, and comfortable. Service was prompt and attentive. The menu had a nice varied offering for both seafood lovers and meat eaters. For us the standout was the seafood fra diavolo (nice kick of spicy) and the warm rolls to start! The whole branzino was just ok and not worth the $45.

Great place for lunch! Had lunch with my coworkers on a work trip and was recommended by our hotel concierge. Immediately seated and served warm bread and butter. I opted for the halibut which was so fresh and meaty with a crisp skin. We started with clams and mussels which were amazing as well. The fish came with 2 sides that I chose fries and mushrooms that paired so well. Everything was amazing here and glad I got some of the best seafood in Boston.

    Tuna Tartare appetizer

Fantastic end to our New England culinary exploration in Boston. We loved the tuna tartare, crab encrusted haddock and lobster carbonara. We often get tuna tartare when available as an appetizer and this was so different to any others. The wasabi tobiko and taro root chips really added something different to any others we have had alike. The lobster crab claw meat was nice and sweet in the carbonara dish. My partner enjoyed the encrusted haddock that was dense, flaky and well prepared. Restaurant was clean, service was thorough and friendly.

Tucked just off Newbury Street, Atlantic Fish Company offers a nice outdoor seating area and a vibe that feels a bit more corporate--likely because it's surrounded by office buildings. Think polished business lunch or dinner spot. The food was great, though definitely on the pricier side. That said, they had the cheapest clam chowder we've come across during our trip through Massachusetts and Maine. We had the lobster roll and the Seafood Fra Diavolo--both were super tasty and came in generous portions. Heads up: the linguine has a kick to it, so expect a bit of spice! Service was solid--attentive, polite, and professional, just like you'd expect from a business-oriented restaurant. Oh, and the complimentary bread? Warm, fluffy, and served with some seriously good butter. A nice touch even if it's free.

A majority of the drinks were more on the savory side which was very interesting like "may all your bacon burn" with bacon bites at the top of the drink. The drinks my friend had were all stunning with the use of egg yolk to elevate the drink. We ended the evening by walking over to Bow Market and trying Viet Citron which was so DANG GOOD my gosh. The buzz from this high-end cocktail bar is exactly what you want on a Friday evening; From girlfriends sipping their wine to couples laughing and swirling their cocktails, Moon Bar is for the classy and sexy. Abby our server is excellent! A mixologist who knows all the cocktails and can recommend based on your preference. I tried one of their new cocktails with bourbon and did not care for it. Abby made me my mezcal drink that I have ordered before...its the 305 cowboy, an extremely popular drink. A must try for sure! Note: Some bartenders make you feel guilty for saying something about a drink you ordered and did not like. But, here at Moon Bar, Abby was so gracious to make me something that I will enjoy. Hats off to her:) Food: Since it was restaurant week we just shared everything. For starters we ordered the Tuna Tartare that was excellent. Then, we had Piri-Piri Chicken Thighs that were also good but quite spicy. For dessert, we shared the Caribbean Tiramisu, which was great. It was a tough choice between this and the Guava Cheesecake. We were so full that we ended up bringing home leftovers. Oh, I also forgot to mention we always order their Curry Fries - a must try when coming here Trust Me. In advance, I stopped into the hotel to confirm that a gluten-free guest could be accommodated and was assured this would be handled. In reality, the accommodation was inadequate and, at times, unacceptable. While the rest of us were served scones, my stepdaughter was given cut fruit in their place, and told that was all they had to accommodate. The dessert course consisted of what appeared to be basic gluten-free cookies, misrepresented as something more gourmet - egg nog cookies??? This lack of preparation was both disappointing, upsetting and avoidable. The broader experience was equally concerning. We were subjected to an unsolicited and uncomfortable "lesson" on tea service, which detracted from what should have been a relaxed and celebratory occasion. While trying to enjoy the time with the girls, being a lifelong tea drinker and someone who has been to many times at your establishment and its various incarnations, this is something I have never experienced. The food quality was poor (scones were clearly reheated and stuck to the cloth napkin they were wrapped in), and there were notable service lapses, including being served water in a visibly shattered glass. Additionally, when hot water was added to refresh the tea, my stepdaughter's pot curdled and had to be replaced. It was especially disappointing, as I mentioned that I had stopped in and spoken with the concierge, and was assured, as they had called the kitchen while I stood there that they readily accommodated gluten-free. There are numerous places in the city that could have done this, and if you had just told me that you could not do so, I would have booked us elsewhere. I chose not to raise the multiple issues in the moment so as not to disrupt what was meant to be a special day for the girls and me. However, the total cost exceeded $500, and the experience did not come close to justifying that price point! Do not recommend.
