I was craving wings, so I gave ATL Wings a try. I ordered the 10-piece traditional wings combo for $16.99, which includes fries and a drink. I went with the "Toxic" sauce on the wings, ATL seasoning on the fries, and red Kool-Aid for my drink. The wings were well-coated and very spicy--if you like heat, you'll be into it. I do wish I had asked for them to be fried a bit harder (which is an option), but since it was my first time, I played it safe. The real standout? The fries. The ATL seasoning has a bold flavor with a nice kick. No complaints about the Kool-Aid--tasted just like you'd expect. You get a small 2 oz. ranch, and additional cups are $0.95 each. Heads up: there's also an upcharge for all flats/drums and for adding extra sauces. If you're ordering online, don't expect your food to be ready right at the quoted time. Mine was a little late, but honestly, the food came out hot and fresh, so I didn't mind the wait. The restaurant was clean. I love this ATL wings location specifically. We order about once a week. Everything you can think of, classic bone in wings, boneless, kids meals, all the kool-aids. They never mess up our food and it is always hot!! We've tried many of the flavors but my favorite is honey habañero. Love this place I highly recommend it! Plus the cheese fries with bacon are great. Food is always consistent. You get the same thing every time. The only thing id change is maybe pull cars around if an online order pickup is in the drive thru and their food is ready. I usually get stuck behind a drive thru order when my online order is already ready. I would just suggest moving the car to the front so I could just pick up my food faster if it's ready. Had a Team Building Day a few weeks back, went to another local pub that was known for their wings, coworkers thought they were good, I was not impressed. Told them about ATL, so we decided to have a Wing Day at work. ATL did not let me down. Everyone LOVED them, we had a variety of dry rubs and sauce in both the boneless and traditional, no complaints about any of it, even the fries were a hit and they weren't even hot(they were when I got them, but it's hard to carry fries 20 mins to our work place and expect them to stay hot). I have ordered online from here twice and I was not disappointed either time. The food was hot and cooked to perfection. I'm from the Ohio so it's hard to find food that has the same taste but I believe this is it. The people who work here a so amazing and helpful and polite. Which is rare honestly. My recent visit to ATL Wings on Main Street in Mesa was, without question, one of the most appalling dining experiences I've ever endured. From start to finish, the sheer ineptitude and lack of professionalism were staggering. I ordered all flats, fully aware of the $3.99 surcharge an absurd and unjustifiable markup compared to Wingstop's $1.99. Meanwhile, my grandmother and aunt ordered two separate 10-piece meals with a mix of flats and drums, opting not to pay the ridiculous extra charge for all flats. Despite this, their orders came with a laughable total of three flats between them TWO in one order and ONE in the other. Yes, you read that right: my aunt received a single flat in her entire order. Meanwhile, the rest of their wings were cold, stale, and inedible, a sharp contrast to my own hot and fresh meal. When my aunt called to express her dissatisfaction, she was met with the pinnacle of managerial incompetence: Fabian. His condescending, dismissive attitude was the cherry on top of this disaster. He rudely brushed off her concerns with sarcastic responses like "OK, and?" and claimed there was "no policy" regarding the distribution of flats and drums. Really, Fabian? No policy? That might fly if common decency didn't exist. But it does, and what kind of establishment thinks it's acceptable to serve a single flat in a 10-piece order? The floors were unswept, the tables were filthy, and the atmosphere was dead a shocking sight for a Saturday. Not a single car in the drive-thru, and based on the service we received, it's easy to see why. The staff was apathetic and rude, and the restaurant felt more like a neglected storage unit than a place to enjoy a meal. Fabian, the so-called manager, exemplifies everything wrong with this establishment. Not only did he fail to offer even a semblance of an apology, but his sarcasm and unprofessional demeanor made it abundantly clear why this location is in shambles. His response of "Why does it matter if you got your flats?" when discussing the blatant shortchanging of my grandmother and aunt's orders shows a shocking lack of customer service skills, not to mention basic human decency. This place is a complete disaster an overpriced, unclean, and poorly managed joke of a restaurant. All Wings doesn't just need a health inspection; it needs to be condemned. Fabian's attitude and the restaurant's overall state are a recipe for failure. Save your money and your time this place isn't worth a cent.I also ordered two biscuits with honey and cinnamon, only to receive dry, hard excuses for biscuits with no honey in sight. Honestly, you're better off going to Wingstop, where they not only have a clear policy on flats and drums but also ensure you'll get at least four flats in a 10-piece order. We got some wing with fries and a drink. The wings were a bit dry and the fries were okay. The service was real good, although I feel they were very understaffed. The poor girl working the counter and drive through was scurrying around to put our order together. The wait time wasn't too long, but while we waited (inside) noticed an abundance of flies hovering around the main area. They need to address this. The place was orderly, but needed a good cleaning. Maybe that would reduce the flies. Although this meal could have been better, I think they need to work on food quality. If it remains the same, I'll try elsewhere. Alright friends, buckle up. Decided today that wings sounded excellent. So, headed here, as I have previously had some awesome grub here. Pull up around 12:40, greeted and asked for a sec. Placed order at 12:43 - 2 6pc wings, fries, drinks, and some biscuits. Pull up to the window and pay, told it'll be a few minutes. No biggie. Start playing around on my phone, 10 minutes go by. no big deal - just super fresh right? Put my car in park, found myself on some random trivia app to kill the time. 10 more minutes go by - maybe they burned my food? Phew I am thirsty ... where's my drink? Oh wait - did not get that yet. Meh. After another 10 minutes I'm straight concerned at this point. Y'all okay in there?! So, I decide to head on in and take matters into my own hands. Which ... was NOT what I wanted to do because I left the house in straight up jammies. Either way - there's a few people sitting in there, so I wait. A guy comes out and walks a tray of food out - comes back and finally says something to me, I ask him about my food from the drive thru. He figures it all out ... another 10 minutes roll by. During which time more people have now entered the lobby - one of which, told a story about how they tried to eat there another time at 7:45PM and had been told they would not serve them because they were closing (site says 9PM) - weird. Not my problem I just want my food. Ironically - I make a friend. He too had been waiting for 30 minutes on his food - stated that 6 tables left and got refunds as he was walking into order. FINALLY, AN END IN SIGHT!!! I get my food ... plot twist ... all of my food (except my biscuits?) ... ice cold. I tell the kid everything is cold ... he sorta just looks at me and goes "Oh." and walks away. The manager (I have now learned - who was also in the drive thru and kitchen and everywhere) comes out and says he'll redo it all, Solid. So, I just ask if it's going to be another 40 minutes and come out cold or ... in point he informs me "that there are 2 people here, him and one other - either training the other or there was another and a trainee - okay, I totally get that (I'm a manager myself, I have had to run similar sh*t shows LOL) - he too then walks away, after throwing my bag of food under the counter. I mean at this point I had minimal expectations for anything decent besides the KoolAid (yes - I finally got my drink! and lemme tell ya .. BEST KOOLAID EVER!!!!!) Comes back out, I just want my money back at this point. I now make another friend, who has also been waiting as long as myself and other new friend. FINALLY REFUND TIME - option to print receipt happens and disappears. So, I ask for a copy of it - manager tells me he doesn't know how to do that. I laugh a little and joking tell him I run a place I could probably help him through it. Apparently, not funny. He goes back into the kitchen then BAM another plot twist - there's yelling. Poor manager is now arguing on the phone with someone - there's cursing involved, yelling, blame placement, etc. Finally, at 1:32 I get a copy of my receipt. I wish my new friends and go to head out - first new friend finally gets his food. I asked if it was cold ... it was LOL These poor kids at ATL. Only reason its not a 0 star is three reasons. 1. The KoolAid was the best I have ever had. 2. All in all a comical experience, I almost sat to see what happened with my second new friend. 3. I highly suggest hiring an efficiency company to assess your line times for real... the ambience could also use an update. It literally still looks like the kfc that location used too be. I ordered online (12 wings, 6 Cajun Hot and 6 Honey Habanero), plus the bonus 6 wings (Hot). The cashier was very nice, greeted me promptly and my order was ready on time. If it wasn't for that this would be a 1 star review. When I get open the boxes to eat I was thoroughly disappointed. THERE WAS ABSOLUTELY NO FLAVOR ON EITHER the CAJUN HOT OR HOT Flavors". Tried this new ATL several times in the past month and really like it! Its a HUGE upgrade from the disgusting KFC that used to be at this location. First, I LOVE the fries! They are on the smaller side (smaller than McDonalds but larger than Freddy's) and seem to be fresh cut. I saw a review saying the fries were soggy and not heated up enough in the oil. I've had the opposite experience, I've had them three times and they were cooked perfect once and a little on the crispy side the other two times. (Both ATL style and regular are good) I tried about six different types of wings and they were all excellent! They are probably the largest wings I've had in the Valley. They're not cheap so at least you are getting value for your dollar. I tried the chicken sandwich and did not like it at all. With Popeye's and Chil-Fil-A making REALLY good chicken sandwiches, I recommend they cut their losses, remove it from the menu and focus on wings. I've had the same woman help me all three times I used the drive-thru and she was very friendly and helpful. Also, the last time I came, the manager gave me a free bag of popcorn to sample. I think they might be adding different flavors of pre-packaged popcorn to the menu? They have potential to be five stars in my opinion. The fries when done right, are the best I've had in the Valley. The place is clean and inviting inside however the surrounding parking lot resembles a forgotten ghetto with few plants and a very rough parking lot. Front counter help was very friendly and knowledgeable about the wings. He was also quick to make a few sincere sounding compliments. He is the high point of the visit. We tried the ATL, medium and honey chipotle wings. The flavors were good but not nearly enough to offset the grossly overcooked wings. Overcooked to the point when burnt exposed bones were protruding. And, while many places charge around a buck a wing, they charged $16 for 10 wings. Our 15 wings and two drinks came to about $32. Rally's for example is $12 a dozen and are not overcooked. As for those drinks, I don't drink sugar so I go tea, it was disgusting and barely had two swallows even with the spicy and DRY wings. I just had this most bizarre encounter at your power and main location that has me totally baffled. First let me start by saying I LOVE YALL WINGS. And specifically come to this location (use to a lot) because there was this manager that was so engaging and just set and created the experience, really amazing guy. Nonetheless, on 11/4/2023 around 11am, I placed my first order it was roughly $25 and when the woman (no idea her name) handed me the kids drink the entire top of the drink had soda on the lid. I went to grab it from her and when I did I tilted it to let the drink on top of the lid waste on the ground instead of myself or my truck. When I did this she wasn't paying attention to handing it to me and a couple drops hit her finger (I can't tell you if it was from me tilting the drink or because SHE OVER FILLED THE DRINK. NEVERTHELESS, she made like an "huh" sound rolled her eyes and shut the window on me. I thought it was rude but let it go. When leaving I realized I got wings instead of tenders for the kids meal, so I came back to the store, through the drive thru and told them I meant to order the tenders. I saw the lady helping the people in front of me but when I pulled up she had someone else come to the window. He took my card charged me then the manager comes. And I'm sorry but you guys can't be serious? His audacity is what made me want to lose it completely. The very young man said sir can I ask you a question, confused I said sure he said "did you throw some of that drink on my employee"?
