Completed my waiver online prior to visiting, as I literally only had an hour for my lunch break. I get there, they couldn't find my waiver...no big deal, I'll complete another one. Not necessary because after a bit of searching they find it, then send me to check into the range. The range guy states there's is an issue and I have to go back to the front to complete a new one. So I go up front...only 1 IPAD is booted and functioning and a line of 3 people waiting for it. I tried to complete it on my phone to no avail as the reception sucked. While it's not their fault my time was limited, they don't seem like they know what they're doing. And to have 6 i-pads mounted, only 1 working??? Might give it another try, but just didn't have the time to work through their problems today.

We shot targets for an hour and it was amazing because we enjoyed learning new things and I was able to show my family some techniques that they don't know as they don't go to gun ranges to try out new pistols in New York City. My reason for the 4 stars is... it just would be nice if the staff would offer a quick little safety reminder of Tips to people. Even start just some basic guidelines on the rules of the facility, not necessarily how to shoot a gun, but how to be safe in the space; that way, you don't have to be spoken to, but more importantly, it would be a nice addition just to feel more comfortable. Finally, the gentleman who checked us in was attentive, knowledgeable, and a delight. I would definitely do this more when I have guest come from out of town who have never had this experience.

I usually buy online and do the FFL transfers at this store, and never had a bad experience here. The shooting range upstairs isn't available. (Token machine "out of order" so no way to buy tokens…read moreto shoot). Food court has disappeared. Small general store feels like it has the heater on. And the smell of candied nuts is no more. Even the upstairs escalator blocked off. You can still take the elevator up, though. The home decor section that used to be on the west wing of the upstairs is closed off and no longer accessible to the public. Bass Pro ruined this Cabela's location. Two stars for the friendly staff who rang us up, directed us towards the bathroom, and offered to help in the camping section. Other than that, this place is not the happy place it used to be. Even the fish in the tank seem sadder.
