I encouraged my partner to arrange our movers through Greek because I use them twice before in the past and is very happy and impressed. This time we were given a 12 noon through 5 PM time frame and you guys showed up at 5 PM. When they showed up at 5 PM they came and looked at our apartment and went to talk amongst themselves and came back in and stated they may need a third person because at this point they are exhausted from their previous jobs. They were on the phone for 30 minutes and we expressed our frustration and that we were expecting to get started. 30 minutes goes by and then they start not knowing they start at the clock at 5 PM. The night was a nightmare. They were dragging, took their time, made many phone calls to their supervisor asking questions, they took multiple breaks, and one of the movers was bringing in one box at a time to our new apartment So they're running up the clock. They struggle to get a dresser upstairs and stated they weren't tall enough or strong enough between the two of them so they left it downstairs in our living room after damaging the wall in the hallway. In addition to the wall damage they broke a $90 lamp. They spent so much time on the phone talking to their supervisor about possible strategies and taking breaks that it took up the majority of the time. We were so disappointed and the supervisor should have apologized to us and refunded us the majority of our money and sent help to cover them. That was the hardest $500 We have ever spent because the service received was absolutely horrible. And now we are left with a large dresser in our living room and hallway damage and we were told that they could possibly send a few other people out today if we arrange it and pay. I regret the decision of hiring them as our movers. And this is the first time we've ever gone without tipping anyone that's how bad it was. read more

They were so nice and professional. They tried really hard, moved my piano with just two movers, no scratches or dents on any of my items. Will recommend this group to anyone, thank you very much!! read more

They were 4 hours late to our appointment, which kept them from being able to move my 2 bed 1 bath home in one day. I went without a refrigerator for 2 days waiting for them to pick it up and deliver it to the new home. read more

I can't tell you enough how very pleased and happy I am with this service. They were prompt and super pleasant to be around. They gave me a reasonable quote and moved everything very quickly. They packed it up too! And when I changed my mind about where I wanted certain pieces of furniture, they were more than willing to accommodate. I highly recommend these awesome movers. Thank you guys for your hard work and for being fast and efficient as well. read more

These guys were amazing. Worked SO hard and fast. Never complained and had fun. They treated our stuff so well, the only breakage was from me unpacking! I would recommend them without reservation!!! read more

The whole process of hiring this company from start to finish was smooth and easy. I called and got an immediate response within seconds and was able to gather the information over the phone and book them as well. Peter K sent me a contract through email so I would know what was included. I booked 4 movers for $105 per hour which is the same price as 2 movers from other companies. The guys were very polite and all introduced themselves to myself and my husband. They came energized and ready to work. We finished the job within 4 hours so I appreciated the urgency to not drag it out. I recommend hiring this company. read more

We had a most favorable experience with Greek Movers. Peter answered quickly, scheduled around our needs and arrived on time. The positive attitude, careful handling of our stuff, and remarkable hustle was much appreciated. After reviewing the size of our move Peter provided an estimate of the time required to complete the move. Based on their tireless efforts they completed the work in over an hour faster than the hourly estimate. read more

I was extremely satisfied with my service. I called the Greek Mover's in the middle of the night and spoke with a answering service. I then received a prompt response from a man named Peter who gave me a fair price and arranged to have 2 movers at my residence that morning! These movers (Mario and Brandon) were a HUGE HELP!!! They were ready and eager to assist in any way we needed them to, both very fit and in shape, so they had no issues doing any heavy lifting. I would definitely use them and refer there services to friends and family. Thanks & God Bless read more

We used the courteous young "studs" (their word not mine) for the second time. They made our move as stress free as possible. The price they quoted was what we paid. They worked as quickly as they could, so they didn't try to price gouge us. I highly recommend these young men. I would definitely hire these gentlemen again in the future. read more

I usually have friends help me move, and I always feel guilty about it, so this time I booked Greek Movers. They quoted me about 3-4 hours with 2-3 movers, so I booked 3 hours with 4 movers. I had everything packed and color-labeled by room. When the movers arrived, they said it was a good thing I'd booked 4 movers because my new place was up on the 3rd floor (no elevators). They did NOT provide a new estimate based on what they saw. After 3 hours, they'd only finished loading the truck, and they'd broken my favorite mirror ($100 value) in the process. At that point, it's not like I could cut them off. All my stuff was in their truck. They took another 3 hours to unload, during which time my friend found my box full of jewelry (my most expensive box to be sure) on the ground on the first floor. I don't live in the best neighborhood, and I can't believe this wasn't immediately stolen. They paid no attention to the labels on the boxes and ended up piling everything wherever they could find space, blocking the entry way as they went, making it harder and harder for them to move big items in. When they were done, they gave me my total, which was double the original estimate (we're talking hundreds of dollars over). They knocked an hour off of the price for the broken mirror, but this still left me on the hook for several hundred dollars more than what I'd budgeted. I had 4 guys standing in my home asking for payment, so I felt pretty pressured. It was a terrible feeling. After they left, I discovered that they'd put my shoe rack on top of my mattress (gross) and didn't reassemble my bed properly, so I had to remove the mattress and get under the bed to realign and tighten all the screws. I'm very unhappy with their service and the position they put me in with the final bill. Now I'm out several hundred dollars and one of my favorite pieces of furniture. I'll never book with Greek Movers again. read more

Scheduled to show at noon. Called them at 1, said "supervisor will get back to you, so sorry". Called them at 2, said "supervisor will get back to you, so sorry", called them at 3, said "supervisor will get back to you, so sorry". Finally started moving myself. Mover called at 4. Said "going to dinner, will show up around 5:30". House was locked up and I was two hours away. I told them not to bother. Tried to reschedule next morning. They said "supervisor will get back to you, so sorry". Got new moving company. Owner finally called me at noon. Explained that many issues the previous week had them backed up and that I was supposed to consider the noon to 5 appointment as a 'window'. Still unhappy, but agree this could have been just a misunderstanding. read more

This was my 2nd move of the same item...a player piano...in 6 months. The guys from Greek movers did such a great job the first time, that I didn't hesitate looking to them for the 2nd move. I have waited 2 months to post a review of this company. I was very angry and wanted to have a clear conscience posting my review. I hired them to move me at the end of October. They had pretty good previous reviews. I am a stickler for time and had prearranged an early 7-8am start time. received a call "8am-sorry just woke up running late, on our way" received another call, sorry taking longer than thought" Arrived after 9am. 2 football players and they were prepared to lift heavy furniture which was good. When we got to storage they stepped out of the moving truck like Cheech & Chong reeked of pot. although that is acceptable in california, unacceptable while you are driving and working. I thought wow only one item a picture got broken. not too bad. went to storage the next day to pick up a few things. notice every single piece of my furniture was scratched. not little scratches. big gouges on all my furniture. three bedroom sets ruined including headboards dressers and tables. my dining room table ruined. i would seriously think before you use this company. although they are nice guys, late and very careless! read more

Do not hire them. They damaged almost every piece of furniture. They have not responded to our concerns. Moving is a stressful time and if you want quality work by people who care about their job and do it well then do not hire Greek Movers. I wish I had been warned. read more

Used them to move between cities about 6 months ago and completely forgot to review them. They did an amazing job. Punctual. Attention to detail. Friendly. Broke a lamp- not in the truck- but by falling from a ledge- and immediately took care of it without question. I ended up doubling their tip since they were proactive. Definitely recommend. read more
