ATT Webster Date: 1/13/26 Time: Approx. 2:25-2:40 PM Michael (DM), I am writing to bring a matter to your attention. Please excuse the delay; I have a business to run and limited time to address issues with your employees. I visited the Webster location and was greeted by two employees. I had no issue with waiting, as they were assisting other customers. One employee told me, "I'll be with you in a few minutes...a few seconds." She then returned her attention to a customer waiting for updates/downloads. As I waited, her body language suggested she was preparing to assist me next, but she then became locked into "chit-chat" with the customer for the next five minutes with no apparent end. At no point were they discussing the updates. I heard details about the customer's phone possibly falling into a toilet, her cousin, and other personal anecdotes. I expect--and have seen at Apple and other AT&T stores--employees who can manage multiple customers simultaneously. Skillful employees acknowledge those waiting and explain that they must step away briefly to assist others. After five minutes, I said from across the room, "Excuse me, I've been waiting five minutes while you chit-chat, can you..." Before I could finish, she went off on me. She asked who I was to tell her how to do her job and accused me of being disrespectful. She immediately played the victim, stating, "I don't need your business," and told me to leave. Maybe somebody SHOULD tell her how to do her job. You never know who the customer is - a bum dressed as a millionaire, a millionaire CEO with 124 employees not so finely dressed, etc. Store Video: I encourage you to watch the footage, if possible, from (approx.) 2:25 PM to 2:40 PM on 1/13/26. It will verify the veracity of my claims. The other customers and the second employee could also verify the truth should they choose to be honest. While I tried to speak and ask how is asking a simple question disrespectful, she rudely kept interrupting me, talked over me--talking at me, not to me. When I mentioned that "higher-ups" would hear from me, she ran into the back office to call you (I believe) and began setting up a defense: "I just had a customer that was extremely rude...". And thus began her lie. What other lies did she tell you? Watch the video if you have it. In reality, the only rude person was the employee. She felt the need to get you on her side immediately rather than address a legitimate customer concern. I feel sorry for her; she relied on a "victim" mentality. She seems to forget that the store needs the customer. I do not need her--there are other stores and other carriers. I asked a question without raising my voice and without using disrespectful language or actions. Actions have consequences. As a direct, irreversible result of her actions, we have started the process of migrating seven lucrative AT&T accounts (4 personal, 3 business) to another carrier. I vote with my money. (Also, part of the reason for my delay in writing this is that I wanted to make sure that we were moving accounts before writing this.) In her berating of me, she mentioned being there all morning and seeing ten customers. That is her job, not a badge of honor. If she is having a bad day, she should leave it in the backroom. She is in a customer service position; if her skin is so thin that she cannot handle a question, she should not be in that role. If she thinks my question was disrespectful, then she has no clue about life. Many people use the phrases 'don't disrespect me, you disrespected me, etc.' like breaths of air. It's a fake defense used to try to quiet/berate/belittle the opposition and signifies weakness, lack of conviction, no legs to stand on, and immaturity by the user of such phrases. I guess it made her feel important. I didn't get her name, as her hair was blocking her nametag, but you can easily identify her by the date, time, and the phone call she placed to you. Don't worry. We have also been contacting ATT customer service through multiple channels/levels to let them know how an authorized dealer treats a customer with multiple subscriptions. AT.T an operator who openly cheats its customers out of money by offering profitable packages that can change in price several times a year, and if you try to disconnect, they will also give you a fine. I do not advise you to have anything to do with them at all. The salon does not help with problems, but only transfers the arrows like call customer service, which also will not say anything wise! Stay clear of this store. The alleged manager Cameron Lewis is ignorant of the procedures the ability to correct this store's problem which caused me a good time of time and effort. The people are totally not service oriented. They pulled an IMPROPER ILLEGAL CREDIT PULL and then looked to me to resolve it. They claimed they had no internal phone numbers to resolve this egregious error and told me to take care of it myself. Well I did through ATT's ASSOCIATE GENERAL COUNSEL. He cut through the red tape and apologized. I made it perfectly clear who the Manager and sales associate were. If I could give zero stars I would. VERY very poor customer service. The workers are very unprofessional and do not care about their customers. We have 5 lines and went in to add another line and the workers pretended that we were not even there. The worker that greeted us asked us what we were in there for with an attitude and told us she will be back. Went to the back room did not come out until her shift ended and it was her time to go home. She did not inform us that the other worker there would be taking care of us made it seem like she was going to take care of us but only sat in the back until it was her time to clock out. This review is for AT&T. I posted before and have an update! It's a month later and instead of canceling my service when I returned the phone and giving me a credit of $180 like the manager at the Ridge Rd store told me I would, they not only charged me $450 For 10 days, but now have taken $ $619 For the next month costing me $1069 For 10 days of sevice! The manager at that store is snotty and argumentative - I feel like she didn't correspond at all with AT&T . Stay away! read more

Horrible customer service A user on my plan went in to have a broken SIM replaced, and they refused to replace it. My user called me to authorize it for them, and they still refused. When talking to them on the phone, the manager repeatedly walked away-- refusing to deal with the situation professionally. Why is replacing their own broken hardware(SIM cards) so difficult? Trash customer service. Went in here today to see if I could switch from Verizon to ATT. The guy who works there did some math and gave some ridiculous number that didn't add up.
