I had taken my computer and printer into BBS to get them to talk to each other so I could print…read morefrom my computer. Found out they had gotten it to work but it was through there office WIFI. In order to get it to work directly I had to take it home and Dave connected remotely to it and did a great job of getting it to work. In September 2022 I took my laptop back in to have it cleaned of viruses and any malware which they did. I didn't need to print anything for a couple of months but when I tried to print some stuff it did not work so I called and asked for Dave to call me back and gave my phone number but I never got a call back. I waited about a month and called back and spock to another tech and told him I need to talk to Dave. He said he would leave a note for Dave to call me. He never called then I got tied up with the holidays and winter until I needed to do my taxes and needed my printer. I have called again and can't get to a person. Paul

I bought a laptop for school a year ago (late 2009) from them, a new Lenovo thinkpad for $700 in a…read morecheck, because the machine they had for credit cards was broken. I had asked at the time for no games on it so I would not be distracted by them in the school year. When I got it about a week later, it still had all the standard games on it that I asked to be removed. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and didn't bring it up with them. a few weeks later I went into the Lenovo toolbox and saw that the warrenty had expired on the laptop, in June 2008. I didn't bring that up either, stupid as that was. I take good care of my laptops and try not to damage them in any way. A few months into the school year one of the hinges broke on the laptop. by broke, I mean snapped clean off. only the other hinge was keeping the screen on and upright. At that point I brought the computer in. After it was brought in, the guy in charge said that the screws on the bottom had also fallen out. He asked me if myself or anyone took them out. I said no, why would I take them out? It would void the warranty and removing the screws and removing the hardware would not fix the hinge at all. He said that he'd try to get Lenovo to cover it over their warranty, which apparently expired before I got the laptop, and I was also covered though the shop's warranty. The owner said that he would go and get the new case and that it would be mostly covered by the warranty. This is where most of the BS starts. My mother paid, up front for what little that was not covered by the warranty and we went home. we called in a few days and asked if the part had come in yet. The owner said that we had to "bring the laptop in" before he could order the part. My mother brought the laptop in, again, and the owner ordered the part. My mother came home with the laptop so I could continue using it until then. When the part came, we left the laptop there overnight for it to be fixed. My mother came to pick it up when she was called and told it was ready. She drove down and came to pick it up. When she was there, my mother was told by the owner's wife that there would be an additional fee because the screws were gone and "your son must have opened up the laptop in order to fix it." My mother immediately said no, I had not, and would not, do that. The owner's wife then suggested that one of my friends had done it to fix the laptop. My mom immediately said the same thing, they had not, did not, and I personally made sure that they did not open use the laptop, let alone open it up. The owner's wife refused to listen and said that my mother had to pay the extra fee. my mother didn't bring any cash or checks, because she didn't believe that she would have to pay any more seeing as she paid up front for what it should have cost her. The owner's wife had offered to take her credit card's number, because their machine was still broken and couldn't read credit cards. At this point my mother stopped trusting them and left. the next day she drove back, and paid in cash for the repairs and brought the laptop home. And to top it off, two months after the repairs, the same hinge is creaking as if it will break again. Clearly this is a design flaw in Lenovo laptops, not a user caused problem. I also fail to see their logic in how removing screws and and removing hardware would affect the hinges, which I can attest never happened. Tl;Dr: Overpriced, bad service, and just a general rip off.
