My wife recently received a voicemail from Oaks Roofing & Siding/Graves Brothers Home Improvement about how their parent company, Oaks Inc, had recently purchased Ben's Appliance, Kitchen and Bath. There are a couple of problems here. We never signed up for phone call advertisements and the roof that Graves Brothers Home Improvement installed immediately leaked water and they never repaired it. There is no doubt in my mind that prices will go up and quality of service will decline under Oaks' ownership- I've experience it first hand(check out that review sometime).

Dated review but from about a month ago, washer was acting up and not working right, after…read moresearching for repairmen I settled on Rochester Appliance. Spoke with both Rebecca and Holden by phone for scheduling and worked with the tech Trevor, for repair work. Trevor made several trips, and for (I think around $300.00) the washer was back up and running. Took less than a week for a new computer board but everything was explained to me well. Am relieved to have it back up and running since it's only a few years old (new from box store). Will definitely be using them in the future for any appliance repairs. Thanks for help :)

Items plugged in would have power, then it would seem to shut off for no reason and then come back on. My husband came across RJN Electrical and called them up. It took a couple of days to get them scheduled to come out, but there was good communication while we were figuring out a time. They ended up stopping out in the evening. The man who came was friendly and seemed knowledgeable. He figured out our issue and resolved it. Being a very new homeowner I really had no idea how much an electrical call would cost. They charged $75 for the service call, and then $70 an hour for service. The parts were very minimal. In talking to others who have had electricians come over that seems somewhat reasonable. The worker and my husband had a lot in common and were chatting the entire time he was working. My only somewhat complaint was that I am guessing that all that chatting extended the time it took to fix. They charged for 2 hours, he was probably actually there a little longer, but I wonder if he had just been working diligently how long would it have taken? Not a big deal, and it was nice that the guy was friendly and explained things too, just interesting to note. Overall we had a good experience, and I think if any other electrical issues come up I would probably reach out to them again.
