I had an amazing time at the AT&T store. I was greeted warmly by a sales representative named Lindsey (Lindsay?). She treated me not like a customer, but like a human being -- a friend, even. I was made to feel at home in this place, and her help was above and beyond anything I've seen at any other AT&T. You should give this woman a raise. She really made my day. My parents and I have been dealing with a problem of being overbilled for months ever since we upgraded my dad's phone in May. Even though have been paying the extra fees for the upgrade, they added extra services we didn't ask for and have been double billing us. We went to this AT&T corporate store and were met by a guy named Drake Aumann. He was incredibly condescending, unhelpful and arrogant. He refused to give us any meaningful help and would cut us off repeatedly when we spoke. He made us more upset than when we first arrived. Literally minutes after speaking with Drake, we were so exasperated that we drove to Verizon down the street and I dropped $2000 just so I could get rid of AT&T. Drake was so terrible that he literally pushed us to the competitor. Get this: Verizon is HALF the cost of AT&T and they have MORE services for what you pay for with BETTER cell phone signal. We have been loyal AT&T customers for over 20 years and in one encounter with Drake, we left AT&T for good. His rudeness was the last straw. read more

Beware the long lines of this AT&T store. Never before have I seen wait times at a cellular store as long as those at this store. One day my wife, my beagle and I waited 2 hours as a walk-in, without any help other than being checked in, before we decided to leave. The employees mean well, but this store is hopelessly understaffed. Pro-tip: if you absolutely must come into this store, do yourself a favor and make an appointment first. There's still a good chance you'll have to wait, but it's better than waiting as a walk-in. read more

We've had numerous issues at this store. Our most recent experience included a sales rep claiming our family plan was outdated and we needed to upgrade our data plan. We were told that the new data plan he was giving us wouldn't change our bill. Fast forward to our next bill and it's $45 more a month due to the change in data plan. Watch out, some of the sales reps are scammers at this location, looking to make a quick buck off of upgrades. We previously had an issue with a sales rep switching phone lines while activating a new phone. I ended up getting all my husbands texts and calls on my phone and his phone somehow never became activated in the process. Avoid this AT&T store at all costs.. read more

I visited this store last weekend while on a cross-country road trip back to Seattle. After purchasing an iPhone in Indiana earlier that day, and becoming too impatient with the slow download speed from the iCloud backup, I need help resetting my brand new phone... We walked into the store late on a Saturday afternoon and it was packed. We were greeted warmly, and waited in line, patiently, for about 15 minutes before being helped my an associate. Since we needed to replace the SIM card, reset the phone, and restart the iCloud backup, we were handed off to the manager - Shane - so the associate could help other customers. That's when our experience became hella awesome. SHANE IS THE MAN! He quickly engaged us in casual conversation, discovered we were staying overnight in town, and provided an entire list of Madison's top food and drink hang-outs for us to explore after our AT&T visit. Shane went above ad beyond expectations, and his recommendations for food and drinks in the city were impressive. Thank you for helping us fix the iPhone, and for taking time for friendly conversation, and for helping us make the best of our Madison, WI overnight experience. read more

Awful experience which made me dump AT&T. I came in to just get a new SIM card as I purchased my own IPhone and needed a micro SIM. The idiot sales guy in the process cancelled my old plan which was a legacy plan from 2005 which was $79 a month for unlimited everything for 2 phines and put me on a new plan with limited data and $160 a month. He was like oh sorry there was no other way this could be done other than make some changes to my plan but he never told me he cancelled my old plan. I only found out a month later the cost of my plan doubled. After several months of complaints to the FCC and Better Business Bureau nothing changed. AT&T did not give a #%*@ one bit about me and I'd been a loyal customer for 10 years. I'm glad I work in a very influential position in the communications industry as there's more than one way to skin a cat. :) read more

This store is a complete joke. To be honest AT&T itself has gone downhill. I have been with them since 2005 and can't wait to get out of my contract with AT&T. The employees are completely incompetent they don't understand simple billing statements. They also don't understand policies. If you call AT&T they will tell you one thing then you go to the store and they tell you another. Furthermore, I have been to the store more than nine times to get the billing figured out. It's just unbelievable. I wouldn't recommend AT&T to anyone anymore. read more

I had a great experience buying my iPhone about a month ago. I walked in, knowing that I wanted an iPhone 7 and was helped by a staff member named Mikel. It was an absolute pleasure to work with him and he helped me out big time. He was very amiable and knowledgeable about the apple products that I inquired about. If you are looking to buy a new phone, highly suggest seeking him out, if possible. He got us out of there so quickly too. It was really such a treat to work with him. If you think in store pickup on an online order is for your convenience you are mistaken. Was greeted at 1225 and told I was next up. I said I have an order to pickup that's it. It's now 1pm. Have seen 4 guests come in after me and get served. Have watched 1 employee lean on the counter the entire time doing nothing. I guess when att sends you the message saying your order is ready for pickup it doesn't really mean anything except I hope you don't have plans read more

This place is ridiculous. They have two guys signing people in. And then they go into a back room. They make you wait and wait. I left. There was hardly anyone in the store. They didn't sell a phone protector for my specific phone either. read more

The customer service in their store seems to be average. The customer service over the phone is absolutely horrible. They can barely speak English and I can't understand what they are talking about. The wait time is extremely long and delayed even once you have a member on they don't know what they are doing. read more

Att told us we were eligible for an upgrade and did not need to trade our old phones in. Went to this store and this cheese dick of a dude told us we were good and kept us there for over an hour. He then comes out and says we are not paid up and have to pay 400 to get new phones. These dudes are worse than car salesmen. We got up and left. read more
