Get to a week later, I call back about the part because I need it replaced. "Oh, $, we never got that ordered. I was mowing my lawn when he called me and..." Oh boy. Not good. Let's review: * Immediately refunded my deposit * Continued investigation and found they DID get it ordered * Did not demand a new deposit * Continued tracking the package, even though it seemed to be lost - well beyond the expected Tuesday-Wednesday timeframe. * It arrived while I was at work, really didn't have time to fix it. But he called me up to let me know and we worked out a time - he personally promised to set that time aside for me. I showed up, he confirmed it was the right screen, we went through some tests - it was glitchy - then he rebooted and it seems to have unglitched. As I now touch my screen to confirm, Device Surgeon got it done. They fought the mail, they put the customer first, and navigated a tricky situation successfully. The associates today, were not helpful and kept saying there was nothing they could do.... Funny , we went to the parsippany t mobile and they had No problem getting our account and They were able to get us a phone unlike the Morris plains office. apparently the manager on duty needs to learn from the parsippany manager.

The storm gave us a temporary power outage of less than an hour. We called tech support because our…read moreWiFi and TV were not working, and they helped us realize our Router and Cable box both got fried. We went back to the store twice, not realizing both units were gone. We went the first time for our Router replacement, got it hooked up and running, before realizing the Cablebox also needed to be replaced. Called up Verizon again, and they were able to order us replacements to pick up at this location both times. (They offered to ship it to us for free, but we preferred to pick them up same day to get our WiFi working ASAP to be able to work from home.) Both visits were quick, and the employees in store (and on the phone) were incredibly kind and helpful. Amazing and efficient customer service! The store was clean and convenient to get to for us. We did not have to pay for these replacements because they were covered by Verizon policies.

CHECK YOUR VERIZON BILL--especially if you use Auto Pay…read more I have been a Verizon customer for approximately 25 YEARS, and what I just discovered on my account is absolutely unbelievable. In January, I went to the Verizon store on Route 10 in Morris Plains, NJ, to upgrade ONE phone. Simple transaction. Got my phone and left. My bill is on Auto Pay, so I didn't scrutinize it every month. I knew it would go up somewhat because I upgraded a phone. Fast forward about 8 months. I finally thought, WHY am I paying almost $790 A MONTH when my bill used to be around $350?! So I started digging through my bill. Guess what I found? TWO EXTRA PHONE LINES TWO PHONES I DON'T OWN Phones I NEVER PURCHASED OR AUTHORIZED ANDROID phones--which is especially interesting considering anyone know knows me know I'm an Apple girl!) An additional charge involving my Apple Watch I went straight back to the SAME Verizon store. The employee pulled up my account, looked at it, and said: "The guy who put these phones on your account no longer works here." Excuse me??? I asked him to explain. He told me that a former employee had allegedly been ADDING EXTRA PHONES TO CUSTOMERS' ACCOUNTS TO GET BIGGER COMMISSIONS. I was FLOORED. Then I was basically told there was nothing the store could do and I needed to call Verizon Customer Service. And the approximately $2,000 I've been charged for things I NEVER BOUGHT, NEVER RECEIVED AND NEVER AUTHORIZED? I was told Verizon probably wouldn't refund the money but might give me a CREDIT. A CREDIT??? I don't want a Verizon credit. I WANT MY MONEY BACK. After 25 years with Verizon, why would I want $2,000 worth of credits when I'm now considering leaving the company entirely? And here's the part that really bothers me: If the employee at the store was correct and this former employee was doing this to multiple customers, HOW MANY PEOPLE HAVE EXTRA DEVICES OR LINES SITTING ON THEIR ACCOUNTS RIGHT NOW AND DON'T EVEN KNOW IT? Especially people like me who trusted Auto Pay and weren't examining every single line of their bill each month. So I'm posting this for one reason: GO CHECK YOUR VERIZON BILL. Look at every phone number. Look at every device. Look at every installment agreement. Look at every watch/tablet/device charge. Because I certainly didn't think I needed to--and now I'm fighting to recover approximately $2,000 in charges for devices and lines I say I never authorized. The service is beyond the modern service that you would not typically receive from the average phone store. Harry is definitely what old school would refer to as the neighborhood family. Phones are us has been at least to me, apart of the dover neighborhood family for a few generations. I seen all walks of life in this store as I waited for my phone bill to be paid. From the neighborhood regulars, law officials, the local gym crowd, to your blue collard workers rushing to pay a phone bill after work, even the local dancers at the near bye entertainment bar (if you know what I mean). But when I was referring to the service is beyond the modern service that you would not typically receive from a phone store, I was referring to a time period when things was kind of pressured on me, Harry empathized with my situation and gave me a payment plan that I could not refuse and most store owners would not think about doing.
