Get to a week later, I call back about the part because I need it replaced. "Oh, $, we never got that ordered. I was mowing my lawn when he called me and..." Oh boy. Not good. Let's review: * Immediately refunded my deposit * Continued investigation and found they DID get it ordered * Did not demand a new deposit * Continued tracking the package, even though it seemed to be lost - well beyond the expected Tuesday-Wednesday timeframe. * It arrived while I was at work, really didn't have time to fix it. But he called me up to let me know and we worked out a time - he personally promised to set that time aside for me. I showed up, he confirmed it was the right screen, we went through some tests - it was glitchy - then he rebooted and it seems to have unglitched. As I now touch my screen to confirm, Device Surgeon got it done. They fought the mail, they put the customer first, and navigated a tricky situation successfully. I went to store, He said they no longer make that part & he needed to buy from second hand parts & wouldnt get for minimum 3 days. On way home, I stopped at Walmart for chips. I saw a phone store inside. I showed them my phone. They ordered screen at 530pm, had it by 12 next day, installed by 3pm. All working for the $200 in less than 24hrs. I should have known better, when I entered early before 10am opening & 2 people were complaining about the repair from sat that no longer works, phone dead again, other was complaing about phone & wanted to talk to nart. Dont go there! You will be sorry! They lied about needing an additional part! They are obviously backlogged, with the pile of phones sitting on window. I doubt he even looked at my phone!
